We used Half Baked Co for our wedding cake. We went for a cake tasting and loved all the flavors. Narrowing the options down to our favorites was extremely difficult, and we decided to do different flavors for each tier (3 tiers). I didn't get to try them all on the day of the wedding (unfortunate but that's just how weddings go for the bride/groom), but the piece we had was amazing. Production level was still the exact same as our tasting! Multiple guests also made a point to tell me how great the cake was. I also want to make sure I mention Nina. She was so helpful and answered all of my many many questions. She made the wedding cake ordering process so much easier for us. We will definitely be purchasing more cakes for special occasions from this bakery.

Great for people with dietary restrictions!! I have a severe nut allergy, but I had no issues working with Half Baked. The cake was delicious, beautiful, and arrived without issue. Plenty of options to choose from too. Highly recommend!!

Half Baked Co is fantastic for any baking needs you have, but specifically their wedding cakes are INSANE! WOW, our cake was exactly what we dreamed of and more. Not to mention, I am allergic to gluten (wheat), and so are a lot of my guests, so we were so excited that Half Baked Co caters to gluten free peeps like us! The cake was so yummy, and also elegant... almost too beautiful to eat! The team at Half Baked Co was such a pleasure to work with throughout the process and truly made our vision come to life. They also deliver and set-up for an additional fee, which is huge from a logistical standpoint! If you are in the LA area and need a wedding cake, look no further!

We had Half Baked Co. make our wedding cake and desserts. The #1 reason we chose them was because their cakes taste amazing. We were hunting for a chocolate cake that’s to die for, and we found one in their Death By Chocolate. Not too sweet and decadently chocolatey. We also had a vanilla and lavender tier of cake that was ALSO amazing. We asked for a 3-tier cake with a bit of a watercolor effect as decoration, and it came out absolutely gorgeous. The planning process was really smooth. Natalie helped us plan the desserts for the right number of people and they were easily able to match the colors of our wedding. Along with the wedding cake, we ordered donuts (which were a HUGE hit), cookies and macaroons. Everything was really delicious and beautiful. The cake and desserts were delivered on time on the day of the wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the bakery we chose. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for cake and/or desserts for their event.

They are an incredible company and are the some of the nicest people we have met. Their cakes are delicious. On top of that, they will go above and beyond to help you with your goals and were very accommodating of our dietary needs. HIGHLY recommend!

So good! We did a small cake for my husband and me, and then cupcakes for our guests, and they were a HUGE hit. The cake itself was probably the best carrot cake I've ever had, and the cupcakes were incredible. The PB&J was a particular standout. Not only were the desserts great, the customer service was outstanding. We had a very small, minor mixup with some rental items, and they went above and beyond to make it right. We're really looking forward to the next event that needs some desserts so we'll have an excuse to use Half Baked again!

We purchased our wedding cake and it was just an amazing experience from the beginning of our initial conversation with Natalie to the cake tasting and day of wedding! The cake was everything we could have expected! Natalie was a true joy to work with as she was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Would highly recommend to any couple getting married!

If I could give them more than five stars, I would! We loved everything about our cake and so did our guests. It was delicious, and best part was nobody knew it was half the calories! Hands down...best cake, best designers, best customer service. My dream cake was created by them and I will forever be grateful!

We love Half Baked! We discovered it, ironically enough, just months before I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2016. Luckily, they have gluten free options a plenty. Of all the gluten free bakeries nearby, they were THE most affordable for wedding cakes. We collaborated with Natalie who was with us from day one. She is wonderful - so understanding and supportive. Half Baked's execution of our vision onto 3 elegant cakes was lovely and classy. The GF spice with cream cheese was the best - our very favorite! There were some unfortunate issues with the other two cakes, but Natalie assisted us thoughtfully and ultimately provided us with an ample solution. We have loved Half Baked since we discovered them. We highly recommend them for events or anytime, especially if you need delicious gluten free options that won't break the bank!

Half Baked Co. made a show-stopper of a cake for my wedding! I had the most amazing experience with their lovely staff members from our first correspondence via email to the last bite of vegan honey lavender cake my new husband and I savored on our wedding day! They were so accommodating of our preferences for myself and our family, making a vegan and nut-free three tiered wedding cake. Plus, we had something for everyone! The top layer was decadent Death by Chocolate, the middle layer was Honey Lavender, and the bottom was Red Velvet, all of which were delicious (and yes, I made sure my coordinator saved me and my hubby a slice of each)!! And finally, the cake was gorgeous. The brought to life our rustic elegance theme with a naked cake with gold leaf surrounded by beautiful blossoms!

My wife and I visited several bakeries and did several wedding cake tastings. We had high hopes with the first few bakeries which all ended up falling below our expectations. We then came to Half Baked Co and were blown away. First off, the staff was very nice and pleasant to work with. Then, when the cakes came out for tasting, we were convinced that we found the right place. The cake we ordered was perfect. It was exactly what we wanted. If you are still looking for the perfect wedding cake, look no further.

It was wonderful getting our vegan cake from Half Baked Co. We had fun being a part of the process of creating the look of the cake and doing the tasting. It was so hard to choose because all their flavors are amazing! We loved the way our cake turned out and it was so easy making the proper arrangements. We continue to get cakes for our birthdays or other special events. Thank you for being such an important part of our special day!

Half baked is the perfect place to get a wedding cake. I had contacted other businesses that basically told me they couldn’t help me and to get used to the fact that I wouldn’t get cake on my wedding day because of allergies. Enter Half Baked. They not only accommodated me, but it was so delicious, no one at the wedding knew they were allergy friendly. A+!

From the friendliest and nicest staff to work with to the most delicious vegan cake—Half Baked tops them all. The tasting and design process was very relaxed without any pressure. They were honest about the size we needed and were open to our changes as they arose. Everything turned out just how we expected and beyond. We even stopped in for cupcakes several months later and they immediately remembered us. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

I must say Half Baked is the best place for vegan cakes! They made our wedding cake and it was so delicious! All of our guests commented on how good the cake was! Melissa and Natalie were also so patient in helpful every change of the way! Definitely use half baked for all your cake needs!

Half Baked made our cake and cupcakes for our wedding and we could not be happier! From the moment we walked in to do the tasting we knew this was the right place for us. The flavors they offer are so unique and absolutely delicious, I love that they even offer sugar and gluten free options as well. They nailed the design and were a pleasure to work with.

Natalie was great to work with. She catered to our specific needs and worked with us until we got exactly what we wanted. Plus, the cake turned out absolutely gorgeous. Just like the pictures we had given for inspiration.

So I already love Half Baked Co. because they're my local gluten free bakery; and as I and several of our guests are gluten free, they were our top choice going into choosing a cake. Not only were they able to make an entirely gluten free cake, but they also ran with our crazy cake ideas. We were like: we want dragon scales, and they came back with: do you want them to shimmer? Um, yes please! We had other places tell us that what we wanted wasn't possible, but that was never even suggested at Half Baked. The cake tasting was amazing too - we got to pick a lot of combos to try out with mini cupcakes, and we settled on a chocolate/chocolate base, a vanilla/strawberry middle, and a chocolate/salted caramel top. And I mean, it was delicious. Everything I've ever had from Half Baked Co is amazing, but I think they went over and above with our wedding cake. Now I really want to go get some cake...

Natalie is awesome! We had no idea how many desserts we should get for our wedding and she helped us figure it out, without trying to up sell us. We showed her one picture of what we wanted for our wedding cake and the Half Baked Co. team made it happen, with two different flavors! The mini cupcakes are to die for and the chocolate covered oreos were a big hit!

We are so happy we decided to go with Half Baked for our wedding cake. Right from the start, Natalie was so knowledgeable and patient. After having tried so many flavors of cake, we went with carrot cake (my husband doesn't even like carrot cake, but that's how good it was that he wanted it!) They are a bit pricier than some of their competitors but honestly for the customer service and the incredible flavor it was totally worth it. Not to mention that their cakes are healthier than other bakeries. We even ended up adding a bunch of mini cupcakes and renting platters for the cupcake display. The cake was beautiful and everyone was complimenting how elegant it was. Thank you Natalie and Thank you Half Baked for making our special day even more special!

I was initially unsure I'd be able to find a cake that could be as super allergy friendly as I needed it to be, yet have it still taste good to our guests. These guys made our wedding day so special with the cake they did for us! The flavors and texture of the cake were perfect and delicious, and they were SUCH a pleasure to work with! They let us try all the different flavors until we found our perfect combination. We didn't tell anyone the cake was gluten free and vegan, and everybody was raving about how delicious it was! It meant so much that I be actually able to eat my own wedding cake, and I am so, so grateful to Half Baked Co. for making ours!

First of all, their cakes are beautiful and delicious! My husband has some extreme allergies, and lots of them. It was really important to me that he was able to eat the cake at our wedding. When I heard that Half Baked made vegan wedding cakes, I was really hopeful that they would be able to accommodate his really bad peanut allergy. I messaged them and they quickly responded that they would clean their kitchen and prep areas before making us cakes to taste! We were thrilled and came in for a cake tasting! Tasting the cakes was my husbands favorite part of planning and they had so many options to choose from. All of their flavors are delicious! We ended up going with a 3 tier cake with different flavors for each tier. Our cake on the day of turned out exactly as we had imagined, and it was delicious! The cake disappeared quickly and our guests could not get enough of it. No one could believe that it was a vegan cake! I am so thankful that Half Baked worked with us and our food allergies to ensure my husband was able to eat cake on his wedding day! I am forever grateful. Thank you!

We got married on 10-13-18 and our wedding was Halloween themed. So we didn’t want your typical white cake. Half baked did an amazing job on our cake, they put so much detail in it. They hand piped our intricate design because neither my husband or I like fondant. They also let us have 3 different flavors so we didn’t have to just choose one.

Our wedding was on 9.9.2018 & My husband and I were in search for a bakery that had the skill to design and bake a light and very flavorful cake. We shopped around quite a bit and all bakeshops we visited did not have the flavors, nor provide the service and attention to detail Half Baked Co. Presented to us. The cake testing completely sold us! They were very accommodating and were definitely out for our best interest and not just trying to sell us on getting a big cake. We had a guest count of about 260 and we had 4 flavors. Everyone who tasted our cake were so pleased and loved how it was vegan! The design on our cake was a naked drip cake with macarons and flowers all around. The cake turned out so beautifully and it was everything we ever imagined. Thank you to the entire Half Baked Co. Team for making our entire experience so seamless and delightful, we will definitely be coming back for more treats and cakes! #valdeztined2be

Carolyn and her team brought our dream wedding cakes to life! My husband and I wanted our cakes to be a little non-traditional: a vanilla cake with sprinkle frosting and a pink drip, a mint lavender cake with gold leaf, and a lemon ombre cake. Half Baked Co. is by far the best at what they do! Not only are the cakes delicious and guilt free, but the staff is impeccable and so sweet! Natalie helps bring your dream wedding cake to a reality. She is extremely professional and remembers every detail! Every single staff member is very kind and bakes/decorates your cake to perfection! My husband and I wanted an exact replica of the Stanley Cup for our wedding cake and we even showed them a photo of a similar cake and they noticed the details of the pictured cake that were actually incorrect and made ours look even better! Our cake was by far my favorite part of our whole wedding. It was a huge hit with our guests as well! I highly recommend Half Baked for your wedding cake! They will not disappoint!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and very delicious! Natalie helped us design the cake and was on point with everything we asked for! Our wedding was a small one with just a few friends, so we only needed a one-tier cake, but Carolyn and her team at Half Baked Co. treated us with all the care and thoughtfulness of any other wedding. Our experience with Carolyn and the entire team at Half Baked Co. was so easy and refreshing from start to finish. They made all of our ideas come to life and genuinely worked to deliver our wildest dreams and more in the design and flavor. With a few food allergies in the wedding party we wanted to accommodate everyone and Half Baked delivered for us. Gluten free, vegan and sugar free was available along with the standard half the fat cake and everything was gone at the end of the night. People were taking things to go! Highly recommended for all grooms looking for a happy bride and to impress the in-laws.

Wonderful service and delivery, delicious cakes and desserts and happy wedding guests!!! We ordered our 2 tier vegan wedding cake and a selection of desserts from Half Baked Co. The vegan wedding cake looked absolutely gorgeous and was delicious. We had a particular design in mind and they listened and delivered - we were so happy! We ordered a carrot cake and vanilla caramel cake tier. So good! For our dessert table we ordered cake pops, macarons and mini cupcakes - all in a variety of flavors. Half Baked Co. decorated the desserts to link in with the wedding cake- the dessert table looked amazing! We couldn’t have been happier! Half Baked Co. did my wedding cake and dessert table and it was a perfect experience from start to finish! They were able to bring my dream wedding cake vision come to life. They even provided cake stand rentals so that I didn't have to search for those and it added so much more to the whole look of the dessert table. I had a couple of vegan and gluten free guests and because Half Baked specializes in catering to dietary needs they were able to provide vegan and gluten free cupcakes for those guests so that they didn't have to miss out on all the deliciousness. Amber & her team are extremely talented, helpful, and they were the only bakery in town to do cupcakes tastings (FYI most bakeries will only do cake tastings. I don't know why since a cupcake is a mini cake, but there you go). They are also one of the few in L.A. to have a Gluten Free & Vegan cupcake (hard to find both in one cupcake), multiple flavors available everyday in store. This was SO helpful because my husband is allergic to dairy & is Celiac. Some of our wedding guests had restrictions like this as well, so this was very important to us. Amber worked with us not only on a fun design for our Dia De Los Muertos wedding, but also working within our tiny budget. The display and flavors are still being talked about by our guests. Try the Honey Lavender cupcake and you'll be in Heaven!Some GF desserts can be dry, but NEVER at Half Baked Co. Moist and delicious every time. I paid for the delivery & set up since we were doing literally everything else ourselves, which was very reasonable and so worth it. We didn't have a cupcake left at the end of the night, so I went back to the bakery for 2 more to save for our 1 yr anniversary (or maybe 1 month, because I cannot wait that long).

I ordered three mason jar cakes from Half Baked Co. online because I myself have a gluten allergy, and two of my family members have lactose intolerance, so we can't have regular cake. The mason jar cakes were AWESOME! They arrived in a mailer to my wedding across the country in tact. I was so happy walking around in my dress carrying my tasty little personal cake!
