I didn't get to try them all on the day of the wedding (unfortunate but that's just how weddings go for the bride/groom), but the piece we had was amazing. Production level was still the exact same as our tasting! Multiple guests also made a point to tell me how great the cake was. I also want to make sure I mention Nina. She was so helpful and answered all of my many many questions. She made the wedding cake ordering process so much easier for us. We will definitely be purchasing more cakes for special occasions from this bakery.

am allergic to gluten (wheat), and so are a lot of my guests, so we were so excited that Half Baked Co caters to gluten free peeps like us! The cake was so yummy, and also elegant... almost too beautiful to eat! The team at Half Baked Co was such a pleasure to work with throughout the process and truly made our vision come to life. They also deliver and set-up for an additional fee, which is huge from a logistical standpoint! If you are in the LA area and need a wedding cake, look no further!

and we found one in their Death By Chocolate. Not too sweet and decadently chocolatey. We also had a vanilla and lavender tier of cake that was ALSO amazing. We asked for a 3-tier cake with a bit of a watercolor effect as decoration, and it came out absolutely gorgeous. The planning process was really smooth. Natalie helped us plan the desserts for the right number of people and they were easily able to match the colors of our wedding. Along with the wedding cake, we ordered donuts (which were a HUGE hit), cookies and macaroons. Everything was really delicious and beautiful. The cake and desserts were delivered on time on the day of the wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the bakery we chose. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for cake and/or desserts for their event.

the cupcakes were incredible. The PB&J was a particular standout. Not only were the desserts great, the customer service was outstanding. We had a very small, minor mixup with some rental items, and they went above and beyond to make it right. We're really looking forward to the next event that needs some desserts so we'll have an excuse to use Half Baked again!

free bakeries nearby, they were THE most affordable for wedding cakes. We collaborated with Natalie who was with us from day one. She is wonderful - so understanding and supportive. Half Baked's execution of our vision onto 3 elegant cakes was lovely and classy. The GF spice with cream cheese was the best - our very favorite! There were some unfortunate issues with the other two cakes, but Natalie assisted us thoughtfully and ultimately provided us with an ample solution. We have loved Half Baked since we discovered them. We highly recommend them for events or anytime, especially if you need delicious gluten free options that won't break the bank!

They were so accommodating of our preferences for myself and our family, making a vegan and nut-free three tiered wedding cake. Plus, we had something for everyone! The top layer was decadent Death by Chocolate, the middle layer was Honey Lavender, and the bottom was Red Velvet, all of which were delicious (and yes, I made sure my coordinator saved me and my hubby a slice of each)!! And finally, the cake was gorgeous. The brought to life our rustic elegance theme with a naked cake with gold leaf surrounded by beautiful blossoms!

e. Not only were they able to make an entirely gluten free cake, but they also ran with our crazy cake ideas. We were like: we want dragon scales, and they came back with: do you want them to shimmer? Um, yes please! We had other places tell us that what we wanted wasn't possible, but that was never even suggested at Half Baked. The cake tasting was amazing too - we got to pick a lot of combos to try out with mini cupcakes, and we settled on a chocolate/chocolate base, a vanilla/strawberry middle, and a chocolate/salted caramel top. And I mean, it was delicious. Everything I've ever had from Half Baked Co is amazing, but I think they went over and above with our wedding cake. Now I really want to go get some cake...

we wanted for our wedding cake and the Half Baked Co. team made it happen, with two different flavors! The mini cupcakes are to die for and the chocolate covered oreos were a big hit!

we went with carrot cake (my husband doesn't even like carrot cake, but that's how good it was that he wanted it!) They are a bit pricier than some of their competitors but honestly for the customer service and the incredible flavor it was totally worth it. Not to mention that their cakes are healthier than other bakeries. We even ended up adding a bunch of mini cupcakes and renting platters for the cupcake display. The cake was beautiful and everyone was complimenting how elegant it was. Thank you Natalie and Thank you Half Baked for making our special day even more special!

We ended up going with a 3 tier cake with different flavors for each tier. Our cake on the day of turned out exactly as we had imagined, and it was delicious! The cake disappeared quickly and our guests could not get enough of it. No one could believe that it was a vegan cake! all bakeshops we visited did not have the flavors, nor provide the service and attention to detail Half Baked Co. Presented to us. The cake testing completely sold us! They were very accommodating and were definitely out for our best interest and not just trying to sell us on getting a big cake. We had a guest count of about 260 and we had 4 flavors. Everyone who tasted our cake were so pleased and loved how it was vegan! The design on our cake was a naked drip cake with macarons and flowers all around. The cake turned out so beautifully and it was everything we ever imagined. Thank you to the entire Half Baked Co. cake to a reality. She is extremely professional and remembers every detail! Every single staff member is very kind and bakes/decorates your cake to perfection! My husband and I wanted an exact replica of the Stanley Cup for our wedding cake and we even showed them a photo of a similar cake and they noticed the details of the pictured cake that were actually incorrect and made ours look even better! Our cake was by far my favorite part of our whole wedding. It was a huge hit with our guests as well! I highly recommend Half Baked for your wedding cake! They will not disappoint!

I had a couple of vegan and gluten free guests and because Half Baked specializes in catering to dietary needs they were able to provide vegan and gluten free cupcakes for those guests so that they didn't have to miss out on all the deliciousness. They are also one of the few in L.A. to have a Gluten Free & Vegan cupcake (hard to find both in one cupcake), multiple flavors available everyday in store. This was SO helpful because my husband is allergic to dairy & is Celiac. Some of our wedding guests had restrictions like this as well, so this was very important to us. Amber worked with us not only on a fun design for our Dia De Los Muertos wedding, but also working within our tiny budget. The display and flavors are still being talked about by our guests. Try the Honey Lavender cupcake and you'll be in Heaven!Some GF desserts can be dry, but NEVER at Half Baked Co. Moist and delicious every time. I paid for the delivery & set up since we were doing literally everything else ourselves, which was very reasonable and so worth it. We didn't have a cupcake left at the end of the night, so I went back to the bakery for 2 more to save for our 1 yr anniversary (or maybe 1 month, because I cannot wait that long).
