Working from a painting and drawing background allows Rachel to bring unique, artful elements to each project, ensuring that she can help bring your vision to life to perfectly suit your needs and event. Rachel takes pride in working largely by hand, certainly a product of her fine art education. She especially loves the lettering 'odd jobs' - each bringing an exciting challenge and bringing new life into her design process and service offerings. While Half Moon Lettering works largely with clients in the Houston, Texas area, we love to send our work out into the world too! Half Moon Lettering also enjoys working with businesses to create custom signs and advertising elements.

I was so disappointed in this vendor. I saw so many things I LOVED and reached out so many times to try and schedule an appointment with her. When she FINALLY responded and said she could make time to meet with me (saying she was free all week)...
she completely ghosted me. I thought maybe she was really busy, but then she had time to post on social media and wouldn’t respond to my Instagram messages asking if she was available to book. I felt that I was very polite, above and beyond based on the way she treated me as a potential client, and was so disappointed that she wouldn’t give me the decency of responding.

e and my husband, and then was able to hand sculpt us a cake topper that matched the cartoon figures from our save the dates. She also designed our invitations, escort cards, menus, and programs. Rachel's talent is both big and small. She comes up with amazing ideas, and then is able to fill those ideas out with small details that, in our case, made each paper good precisely what we wanted (and usually even better than what we wanted!). We were able to express who we are as a couple through her work, and her work added so many dashes of fun, uniqueness, and love to our wedding. We are so thankful for her creativity and support!
