Patty took the photos for my best friend's wedding and boudoir shoot. If you've been thinking about getting boudoir photos done, but you're nervous or self conscious GO TO PATTY! Choosing a wedding photographer is an important part of the process for sure. When we met Patty Hallman, we knew instantly she was a professional. However...this lady proved to be not only talented at her craft but supportive and very personal. From the extreme cold snap we had for the engagement shoot to the monsoon rains that disrupted the bridal portrait session Patty encouraged my daughter and produced some of the most amazing shots! She drove over two hours to a location for the portraits and never batted an eye about the weather. Hallman Photographry is hands down the best for that once in a lifetime moment.

We really enjoyed working with Patty Hallman of Hallman Photography. My cousin used her last year for her wedding, so we knew what to expect and that we would receive quality service and product. She was very flexible with us as far as packages and add-ons, timing for bridal portraits, etc., and we love our pictures. Patty is very detail-oriented and really takes pride in her work, which is evident in the care and thought she puts into each shot, being sure to capture even the smallest details of our reception (which is great because the day really does fly by; looking at our pictures is the first time I even saw some of our food and flowers.) The hardest part about working with Patty was trying to narrow down which shots we wanted to include in our album - they were all so good! (You get all of the digital versions, but we had so many great shots, it was difficult to choose!)

Patty is wonderful and so talented!! I got married in September; Patty did our engagement and wedding photos, and did boudoir photos that I gave to my husband on our wedding day (which he loves btw). Patty is so easy to work with! She professional, super friendly, and her photography is outstanding! She knows exactly what to do and what you need! I am constantly getting compliments on our pictures, everyone who sees them mentions how wonderful our photographer was- really the quality of work is superb! She got all of the shots I wanted from our wedding, even though I called her the night before with the list of pictures I was hoping to get, and she even had all of the proofs to us in less than a month (I have heard horror stories of people not getting their wedding pictures for over 6 months)! And when I did my boudoir shoot, which I was so nervous about, she made me feel so comfortable and worked some kind of serious magic hiding all the things I would never have wanted photographic proof of, and they turned out looking amazing (really I have no idea how she did that!). Growing up, I always dreamed of my wedding day, who I would marry, where we would get married, what type of dress I would wear, simple things like that :) It's supposed to be everything you want it to be, but I never knew choosing a photographer would be such a big deal! The older I got, the more and more important pictures became to my mom and I. I wanted to be able to tell the story of our "BIG DAY!" Patty Hallman was a caring professional from the word go and an vital asset in making my dreams come true. I enjoyed our first meeting and couldn't wait to get started taking pictures right away. She made everything about the wedding seem real, in a way that felt amazing! I wanted my bridal portrait in Charleston, SC and she was able to get us onto a plantation (even while they were filming a movie!) Nothing was impossible with Patty. Our wedding day was perfect as well...our story was told through our pictures. I often look through our album and it takes me back to that special day. I know the whole experience wouldn't be as enjoyable without Patty! She's an awesome photographer and if you work with her, your dreams will come true!

I found Hallman Photography after my (now) husband and I got engaged, and from the moment we inquired about prices she was perfect. Patty was an absolute asset to our wedding! I found Patty using TheKnot.com and contacted her via email initially. Since my to-be husband and I were located in GA and Patty is located in SC we made a plan to do our engagement photos with Patty in SC, after meeting with her about the details for our wedding. We pretty much planned this engagement photo session as a test run, as our wedding pictures were our highest priority for our wedding (after all it's the only thing you get to keep your whole life to vividly remember the day!). Our meeting went very well, Patty was personable, easy to talk with, and very accommodating to our wishes/desires. Then, our engagement shoot went even better. Patty picked the perfect location for us (as we weren't familiar with the area) and she took amazing photos that appeared candid. She directed us easily and gently and produced many many beautiful pictures. She was also flexible and was willing to take pictures of us with our suggestions for location or pose. She's so easy to work with, so professional, and so good that we decided immediately that this was who we wanted to take our wedding photos. On our big day she did not disappoint!! She traveled all the way to our wedding, and even surprised us by bringing a few extra photographers with her! She took hundreds of amazing pictures, and again, took our desires into consideration. I, and all my family, adore the moments she captured. When it came to producing our album I wanted to have a lot of input into the final product, and Patty let me. She used her creative talent, and my chronological desire, to create a gorgeous wedding album. I really don't know how to fully communicate what a wonderful job she did! From meeting us, working with us, offering us affordable and comprehensive photo packages, to taking engagement photos, wedding photos, and ultimately providing us with a beautiful wedding album, Patty was everything we could have hoped for. If we all lived closer I would use her services for every photography event through out my whole family's lives. I got married on June 8th 2013 and Patty was my photographer for my Bridal Portraits, Wedding, and our one year anniversary photos that we actually took last night! It's been a year since I got married in South Carolina. Patty Hallman was a pleasure to work with. I felt comfortable with her presence and confident that she was capturing moments that made my day special. Patty was extremely flexible with the days schedule. I had her traveling back and forth between 3 different locations to take pictures of everyone. I'm very grateful for her cooperation. I was impressed with her ability to adapt to all the locations, a hotel, a plantation and a very small church. She gave direction when needed. In my case, I told her I wanted everyone's poses to be natural (opposed to critiquing every arm and leg movement) and she was very understanding. Lastly, I think the pictures I love the most are the ones she planned out for us. After our first dance she asked my husband and I to come outside for a couple pictures. She said the sunlighting was perfect. She had us stand on a small white bridge surrounded by beautiful landscaping and directed us in some poses. When I finally saw the pictures I have to agree, the lighting, the spot, and the poses made amazing photos!

Patty is an amazing photographer! I have never seen myself look so amazing in a picture until now. Things that you could not even imagine were captured. It is so funny because I was worried that some items I wanted pictures of were not done but I was wrong! Everything I had ever imagine was captured in her photos!! She is a brilliant photographer! You can see her passion for photography in her work! She has already done family portraits for me and TRUST me we will book with her again!!

I just received my pictures from Hallman Photography and they are beautiful! The photographers did a great job with capturing everything in the moment. The reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the pictures with me and my husband under the umbrella, you could hardly tell there was actually an umbrella there because of the background. I just wish they would have picked another spot for those pictures to be taken.

Patty Hallman is AMAZING and our go-to photographer for all of my family's special moments. Hallman Photography took pictures for my engagement session, my bridal session, my wedding, my sister's wedding, my sister's bridal session, AND our family portrait...which we gave to my mother for Mother's Day last year. And I will certainly give her a call when my husband and I have our first child! :-) Her photos are nothing less than spectacular. I definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer.

When I say "hot" I mean it literally. Patty came to Nebraska in July to photograph my sister's cornfield wedding. The temps that day were in the upper 90's with all the humidity we've come to expect in Nebraska. But Patty and her assistant were there for it all. She began taking pictures as we were getting ready at my house, then came along to the family farm for more pre-wedding pictures. Next it was on to the ceremony where she got some awesome shots of not just the wedding party but also many of the guests. She even went on our wedding party hay-rack ride and got some great shots of our hometown along the way. She stayed late getting pictures during the reception and dance. The pictures she took just as the sun was setting were amazing. She does some really cool things as far as lighting and colors go. A couple days later the bride and a few of us bridesmaids had her take boudior photos (also in the cornfield). The pictures turned out great and we had a blast!! I wish I would have known about her when I got married three years ago. I definitely would have hired her!!!

Patty was my photographer in my wedding in March 2012. We hired her for an extra long day- 12 hours, which double what she normal works. She was amazing the entire time! She kept everyone together and took so many photos. I had a very large bridal party as well and she did not leave any photo out. That is very hard with 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen. She was very professional and very personal at the same time. Loved all the detail pictures as well as the family group photos. She has great ideas and listened to what I wanted as well. My bridal portrait was stunning! If you are looking for a photographer for your wedding, HIRE Patty! We will be using her for all photo sessions to come!

I planned my wedding in less than a year, and I was very worried that I would not find a really good photographer who was not already booked, but by some miracle Patty had my wedding date open! I saw her pictures on-line and thought they were beautiful, and she definitely did not disappoint when it came to my pictures. My engagement pictures were fun and creative, my bridal portraits had the fairy-tale look I had envisioned, and my wedding portraits captured all of the excitement and beauty of the day. If I had to do my wedding all over again, I would choose Patty again. I LOVE showing off all of my amazing pictures!

I absolutely loved the quality of her work. It was natural and that is exactly what I was looking for. She sealed the deal when I met her personally and reviewed her work. Patty is the sweetest woman and did an awesome job on my wedding. She got serval awesome shots of me in my wedding dress in the church and receptions. She gives awesome bridal potraits, but I had more options to choose from after the wedding. My photo albums is one of the best albums i every, I may be bias, but i loved that she a had numerous options. I chose the story book look. Awesome photographer definitely should use her. The assistant helped get lots of shots to choose from.

As I was having a location wedding in South Carolina, I needed someone who was willing to work on Thanksgiving!! Patty didn't even flinch as she drove about 2 hours to come photograph a morning wedding on a major holiday! Patty was so friendly and helpful and patient, it really helped put me at ease. In addition the photos she took were breathtaking, and she was so incredibly accommodating. I was so honored she happily gave up her morning and early afternoon so I could have the best and happiest memories.
