She’s been doing this so well and so for long, that Lisa handled everything with such confidence and care that I was able to fully enjoy the experience of planning and even more importantly: the wedding day. On the wedding day itself, everything flowed exactly how we discussed, and if any surprises came up, my husband and I were not aware. Our guests still tell us how everything from the rehearsal to the reception was so thought out and intentional, and flowed so well. I know that’s entirely thanks to her & her amazing team- the girls who work with her are professional, flexible and kind. We can’t recommend Lisa and her team highly enough for anyone who wants their wedding to feel effortless, elegant, and unforgettable.

She offers a variety of packages for whatever level of help you need in planning, and she's perfect for couples who feel overwhelmed but aren't sure about getting a planner/coordinator to begin with. We initially hired her as a month-of coordinator to help with timelines and communication towards the end of the process. We then expanded her contract when some outside circumstances changed and we needed more help. It was one of the best decisions we made. Whatever we paid her -- and her prices are VERY REASONABLE for everything she does -- it was not enough. We did not lose a single item that was in her care, which is VERY IMPRESSIVE considering how chaotic wedding days are known to be. We didn't need to worry about *ANYTHING* the day of the wedding. Lisa and her team took care of everything we could possibly think of and then some. She is so organized, but also so good at making sure her couples don't feel overwhelmed or boxed in by all the details. She's got the perfect mix of a creative mind and listening skills, and helped us fill out all the tiny missing pieces, pull everything together and make the day what we wanted it to be.

Through helping with design and vending questions to last minute tent rentals, she was the absolute MVP of the event. y that Lisa was the planner for us. She is so warm and calm, and she understood our wedding vision right away. We aren’t local to New Orleans, so we didn’t entirely know where to start. She helped us find amazing vendors to work with, and guided us through all the steps of the wedding planning process. I truly always enjoyed our wedding planning calls! It felt like talking to a friend, but a friend with tons of experience in the wedding industry. She kept me calm during times that felt overwhelming, was always there for me to vent, and we had many laughs throughout the process. After all our calls, I always felt SO excited for the wedding, and whatever I was worried about melted away. Leading up to the wedding, she was AMAZING. When a situation came up with a vendor while I was on my Bachelorette trip, she handled everything so I could enjoy my trip. When a situation with the venue arose, even though she was at the airport, she was immediately there when I needed her. The schedule she made for the wedding day was absolutely immaculate. It was so detailed, well organized, and had plenty of padding time so that we wouldn’t run behind. She answered so many questions from family and vendors during my wedding week, so I could be as stress free as possible. I was completely relaxed on the morning of my wedding, because I knew Lisa and her team had evjerything under control. My family, and wedding party didn’t have to worry about a thing either, it was all beautifully handled for us. While I was getting ready, Lisa and her team were supervising all the set up, and the load ins for our different vendors. It was so seamless and I was in awe when I eventually walked into our ceremony space, and reception area. It was everything I envisioned and so much more! She made sure all of my personal details were set up beautifully. I was completely in the moment and present on my wedding day, because Lisa seamlessly handled everything. Nothing at all went wrong, and it was truly a perfect, magical day. Besides being a great planner and an absolute force of calm, Lisa is such an awesome person! All my friends and family commented on how amazing my wedding planner was, and I was so happy to have her there on my wedding day. She’s funny, easy to talk to, and fit right in with our whole group on wedding day. She truly feels like a friend! I’m truly going to miss our monthly wedding calls, and all the time we spent together leading up to the day. couple weeks earlier which was so unreal! Once we started hiring vendors, everyone told us that Lisa was one of the best out there! She was proactive and dealt with everything super ahead of schedule! On the day-of, she was super organized and prompt but at the same time was relaxed and made us feel so chilled out even if little things here and there didn't go as planned (as always happens!). At the end of the night, she even neatly packed all of our special items (cake toppers, decorations, etc) up in the suitcase we had brought them in and cleaned up our room before we got back! She was so down-to-earth and fun to work with, my family and friends loved her too! Would recommend Lisa/Hallowed Ground over and over again.

"destination" for us, as well as our guests. That, combined with the fact that neither of us are planners, was a recipe for...well, disaster. Not only did Lisa take over basically everything the month leading up to the wedding, she was constantly available for questions and feedback. We visited NOLA with our parents in early 2023 to tour the venue, and Lisa met with us there without hesitation to get a feel for the space. Somewhere along the way (after locking in several contracts) we decided to move our ceremony up by 1 hour to account for daylight and COMPLETELY forgot to update those vendors we had already secured. Lisa caught it well before we did, and got it all sorted out seamlessly without us even realizing! The week leading up to ceremony, there was a dreaded rain forecast for the entire day - Lisa worked really hard in the days leading up to make adjustments with various vendors to execute the rain plan. She made sure that all of the things we personally brought - the things we had put so much time and effort into - were in place and ready to go for the big day. This was huge because if it were not for her, we would have lost or forgotten to put those things out all together. It seems like there are a million things she and her team did the day of - big and small - that helped it all go so smoothly, it feels impossible to list them all here. All I can say is that several times now, we have said to each other "I miss Lisa, are we just supposed to never talk to her or see her again?!" - so, let that be a testament to the quality of person and business owner she is! and even tactfully evicted uninvited pets. And on top of that she was thoughtful enough to ask the caters to reserve the signature mocktail for me when I started to get heat exhaustion! An amazing coordinator and all around person.
