Hamilton's Catering was fantastic! The buffet was delicious. We had pulled pork, fried chicken, garlic mash potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, green beans, romaine salad and rolls. The staff treated our guests with great care, even carrying the brides plate to the bridal table. The communication throughout was excellent. It made for a worry free day.

Hamilton’s was amazing! I worked a lot with Ashley who was always very helpful and answered all my emails quickly. Then when wedding day came, all the workers there were very kind and had everything set up already from the night before! Oh and the food was absolutely delicious!! :)

Hamiltons was an absolutely wonderful caterer for our wedding! We worked with Amy multiple times leading up to the big day and she was so helpful in the planing process and answered any and all of our questions. Hamiltions went above and beyond to provide a great service to us, and not once did we feel that they were just trying to make a profit or take advantage. The catering buffet they set up perfectly matched our wedding reception decor and colors and the food was amazing! Guests gave us so many compliments about them. I highly recommend all brides use Hamiltons catering for your big day, you won't be disappointed! :)

Hamilton's has always been a consistently good caterer. My only negative comment would be bland veggies.

We used Hamilton's Catering for our wedding out at Buena Vista Farms in Chapin, IL. The number of compliments we got on the food was astonishing! Everyone was going on and on about how the food was still warm and the Hors D'oeuvres were delicious. People were slightly obsessed with Pork Tenderloin with the Bourbon Peach Glaze and the Beef Brisket...we told our DJ we were having Hamilton's Catered and his mouth started watering when we said we were getting the Pork Tenderloin with the Peach Glaze, he said he had it a couple weekends ago and it was so amazing. We also did the Grilled Chicken with Hunter sauce (my personal favorite). I can guarantee you they will not disappoint! Now onto the staff, they were nothing short of amazing. They were out there Friday morning, the day before the wedding making sure all the tables were set up with the water goblets and napkins and getting the buffet lines and carving stations set up. The staff the night of the wedding also did an amazing job at cleaning up the tables and making sure the empty plates weren't sitting in front of the tables for long. I wish I had more time to see how the service was, but word of mouth was that they were doing a fantastic job. We chose Hamilton's because it was close to my hometown and big enough for the 200+ guests who attended. We chose a Friday night because it was 50% cheaper than a Friday. I was able to keep in constant communication with one of the employees, and she responded to all my questions quickly. The staff went above & beyond the day of our reception to make sure everything was just as we wanted it! The food was absolutely amazing and we got SO many compliments on how beautiful the room looked. I would absolutely recommend Hamilton's to anyone in the area!

We were so pleased with the quality of service and food Hamilton's provided at our wedding. They were great to work with from our initial inquiry into having them as our caterer, and our guests loved the food that was served at our wedding. Highly recommend this caterer!

My groom and I are coffee lovers so naturally we picked a coffee/breakfast wedding theme. Hamilton's listened to our vision and helped us make it a reality. A year before the wedding, we scheduled a tasting in Jacksonville. The food was amazing and the banquet manager even let us try our signature drink- coffee with Bailey's. The day of the wedding, Gina Hamilton set over complimentary lunch platters to our ceremony site. So nice! They took care of all the food at the reception including a chef-managed omelet station, our donut wedding cake, and our coffee bar with the Keurig machines we brought. At the end of the night, Hamilton's let us take the leftover food with us. The food was great; in fact, several guests sought us out that night to tell us so! Overall, Hamilton's delivered on the taste of the food and on the reception as a whole.

I had Hamilton's catering for my wedding and they provided professional service and amazing food! Everyone loved the food, enough that we had guests asking about the fate of the leftovers! The bartender was great, she dealt with us opening up the bar halfway through the night and she respected our limitations (no shots, etc). Our friends were not belligerent, but she did deal with some drunkenness very well and responsibly. Hamilton's has truly perfected food service; it's obvious why they have so much business. They are the go-to caterer for the area for good reasons!

Hamilton's Catering does a great job with their food. George and his staff will work with you to come up with the best menu for your wedding. We really enjoyed the food and our guests still talk about it.

I recently got married and had my reception at Hamilton's in Jacksonville IL, the venue is absolutely beautiful (as always) Hamilton's has been around ever since I can remember and my sister had her wedding reception there as well and they've always been very helpful and pleasant to work with! So out only made sense that I would have my own wedding reception with them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a venue! The food was great and the service was even better! I hope this review helps :)

Everything tasted wonderful! There was a small food mix up but was fixed. And the communication to the event coordinator wasn't as prompt as I would have liked. Other than that...wonderful!!!

Hamilton's offered free taste testing with large portions at our home. The food at the reception was hot, tasted great and the servers stayed a lot later than we expected.

We could not have been more pleased with the service and quality provided by Hamilton's both before and during the reception. The food itself was amazing but, I cannot even begin to express how helpful, professional, and efficient the staff was for our event. (they even came in the day before and set up, including place settings, buffet, appetizer tables, folded napkins, etc.) Hamilton's went above and beyond to make our event exactly what we were hoping for. I would definitely suggest using Hamilton's for ANY event you need to have catered!

Words can't express how glad I am that my husband and I were able to have our reception at Hamilton's. Our reception was in the fireside room and it was absolutely perfect! The service was incredible and staff was very polite and attentive. Gina did a fantastic job catering to everything we needed.

Food was excellent!

My husband and I had received numerous compliments on the food provided by Hamilton's at our reception. I was able to work with an amazing lady named Alyssa from Hamiltons and she made the process super easy and fun. They are reasonable priced and delicious!

I had my reception in the fireside room and we had to downsize to just chips and dip for food because they wanted to charge so much, it cost us over 100$ for chips alone but the room did look nice

Provided tasting opportunity prior to choosing our menu. Chose roasted pork and roasted chicken based on the tasting. At our reception, however, the pork was very tough, unlike it was at the tasting. Otherwise, we have no complaints. Very professional in service, appearance, presentation. Allowed us to change from fresh fruit to salad and add on partial china several months before the wedding. Very pleased with communication.

This place is beautiful! and Everyone is soo darn sweet and easy to get along with! Price is a little much but they do an amazing job!

Hamilton's is a perfect place for a reception. Everything was beautiful and the food & service was great as well.
