This is my opinion is one of the best venues on the central coast. Incredible year round, service is impeccable, and you really can't find anything else with its charm. Melanie was...
an AMAZING point of contact, worked with me every step of the way and even allowed a complimentary wine tasting. After having been at the venue many times it was amazing to have such a great experience myself. If you want a AMZING venue with real authentic genuine people to help you on your wedding day this is the place.... and don't forget to taste the wine ITS MY FAVORITE!
One word- MAGICAL!! HammerSky has a gorgeous setting. Rolling vineyards with the backdrop of the hills, two massive oak trees, the renovated 100+ year old farmhouse, and a modern w...
ooden barn. So many guests told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to. We were married Oct 13 and the fall colors added to the beauty. We stayed at the farmhouse with a few of our wedding party which made it really special- not to mention convenient for pre - arranging decor before the big day. Melanie( the manager) was great to work with and responded quickly to all our needs. They were very easy to work with and flexible with a few of our requests. We served their Rose and Zinfandel during our reception and many of our guests enjoyed it so much they bought bottles. A highlight was a new tradition they started with us and will continue for each couple that gets married at HammerSky. A baby oak tree was given to us to plant on the property. We surprised our guests before dinner and planted it in the area we pre-selected. It was a cool and unique addition to our day! And we can't wait to go back each year and check on the progress of our "baby"!
Don't hesitate to have your special day at this special vineyard! Thank you Doug, Melanie and crew - you made our wedding amazing and memorable!
Weddings memories are something that last forever and I am so thankful that I will have mine to treasure at HammerSky. From the first moment we stepped on the property for our tour...
with Melanie we were made to felt that the weekend we had planned with our family and friends was the most important event they would host. We fell in love with the rustic but elegant charm of the vineyard. Our friends loved the wine which paired great with the food and the relaxed yet elegant charm at HammerSky. We can't wait to visit annually around our wedding anniversary and come back to stay at the Farmhouse we have grown to love.
As a pretty easy-going, easy-to-please couple, we have hesitated to write this review, but we think it’s important for future couples looking to have their wedding at HammerSky to ...
be aware of the obstacles and hoops we had to jump through for our day, which, in hindsight would have been enough to deter us from booking here to begin with. Please bare with us on this lengthy review; we think this is really important information if you are considering booking here. COMMUNCATION IS A NIGHTMARE and trust me, it will make your day way more stressful than you wish - even if you are as easy going as us!!!!!
We had our wedding here on August 17, 2018 after initially visiting HammerSky in January 2018. The first day we arrived, we were met by Tanner (who no longer is employed at HammerSky much to our dismay), who graciously took us on a tour of the property and showed us pictures of prior events at the farmhouse and at the vineyard. From the pictures and the interactions we had with Tanner, we were over-the-moon excited to have our big day at this winery. Unfortunately, that was the last of our good customer services experiences……
The winery has had multiple staff overhauls since we first visited. This lead to complete confusion on packages, pricing and a total communication breakdown from every contact we had. Tanner was our main go-to contact initially, but we saw massive FAILURES from the owner and all the managers they have had since.
To begin, we were looking to pay our initial deposit and did not want to send credit card information online after recently dealing with a fraud situation. We made this abundantly clear to the staff; we then received a call from the manager, Ron, who so eloquently told us that the owner, Doug, had written the credit card information down on a NAPKIN (yes, a NAPKIN) and had LOST the napkin… EVEN after we explicitly expressed our concern about making sure the transaction was done safely and smoothly. In that phone call with Ron, we were made aware of the tension the staff had with the owner (not what anyone wants to be clued in on during the excitement of wedding planning and venue booking). Ron THEN immediately emailed us WITH THE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION in an unsecured email after we had JUST (again!) reiterated that we did not want that sent electronically. SO frustrating and totally unprofessional.
The next time we went to the venue we were met with a new manager, Kim (not the owner’s ex wife). She was agreeable; she wanted to help us clear up any confusion and tie up any loose ends. On our walk around with her, she told us several things would be at our disposal/included in our day. One of those things were wine glasses with the HammerSky logo on them. We only needed about 30; she assured us they’d be no problem. There were a few other things on that list which we ended up not needing or we disregarded… but when we went back a third time, Kim was no longer employed……..

We could not have imagined a more perfect venue to get married. It is beyond beautiful, and our guests were enormously impressed with the views, wines, and quaintness of the barn, ...
farmhouse and tasting room. There really is no other place like it, and we will forever have a place in our hearts for this special little slice of heaven on Earth. If you want a vineyard wedding, you really MUST check this place out. It's sheer perfection and was everything I ever dreamed of. Kim Hauck, hands down, deserves major praise for guiding me through what vendors to use and truly is the reason why planning our wedding from out of state didn't feel as cumbersome as it could have. She is a true gem in the wedding industry and so patient and giving of her time to ensure you feel comfortable in knowing your wedding will be executed exactly as you wish. Carol, the tasting room manager, also deserves credit for helping guide us through all the small details of the planning process, and without these two women, we know our wedding wouldn't have been as perfect. This place is something from the storybooks, and I just cannot say enough lovely things about this vineyard.
We got married here a little less than a month ago and despite the rain it was still the most beautiful day! My favorite part of HammerSky was having the opportunity to stay in the...
adorable farmhouse that is located on site. Getting ready the day of then staying two nights after the wedding with my new hubby was so nice. HammerSky is and will continue to be a very special place near and dear to my heart.
I will preface this review by saying that I did not have my wedding at Hammersky Vineyards but it wasn’t for a lack of trying. I spent weeks reading every article/review I could fi...
nd on the internet. My fiancé and I FELL IN LOVE with this venue and wanted our wedding to be here so badly. However the (I believe) owner Kim was very short/horrible with responding to emails. This was surprising because every review I read about this venue led me to believe that Kim was an angel who floated on metaphorical wedding clouds. I tried to have a conversation with her over the course of about a month, I was super upbeat, trying to make the planning of the wedding a positive experience and not something stressful. In every email exchange, Kim responded in a very cold and short matter, and if I had more than 1 question in my email she would only respond to 1 and it was usually the last question I asked…..Which would force me to write another email, repeating myself, which would be fine if it was an accident but after the 4th or 5th email I started to take things a little personal. It would take her a 5 days or so to respond to any question. The point at which I gave up was when I was trying to put a deposit down for the venue and she wouldn’t give me a yes or no if the dates I wanted were available. She told me I could come down and look at the facility even though she would be out of town, to which I said “It would be unnecessary for me to make the trip to view the facility if you do not have the date we want available, I have no problem putting the money down right now for a deposit, even before viewing if you could just let me know if the dates I sent are open” It has been over a month and she still hasn’t responded. M y fiancé and I booked a different venue. This was truly disappointing
Another thing that was frustrating about this venue, which might or might not be the venues fault was that each different wedding website that had information about Hammersky had a completely different number of guests and pricing. and when Kim finally sent over the PDF of their specs, they were completely different than any site research we had done.
Anyways, good luck, if you are one of the few that are blessed to have a great experience and the fortunate ability to have your wedding here....I'm sure it will be beautiful
Hammersky is a beautiful and unique wedding venue. I really rather not write a review because I want to keep this special spot a secret. I am from Southern Califorina so everything...
was done in six months without stress by phone calls, emails and 4 days in the area. I honesty could not have done it without out the personal help from the owner and my wonderful wedding planner and her friends. Danae Grace Events and HammerSky made my wedding magical. We had 250 guest, stayed in the farm house and another couple of houses we rent locally and made it a week long family affair. We had a great time bring our families together here and making memories in a place that felt like home. It was country and elegant. I had a lot of personal touched added from locals in the area and back home.
Hammersky Vineyard is magical! Like unicorns magical! It feels so expansive yet so intimate all at once. We were fortunate enough to have a "super full moon" during our wedding s...
o the setting really looked unbelievable. The wine is divine. And Kim Hauck, the owner of Hammersky, goes the extra mile to make sure your special weekend goes off without a hitch. She really treated us like family. I've been blessed to have traveled to 60+ countries in my life...and Hammersky ranks in the top 3 for my all time fav places. My hubby and I are going back next month for long weekend during harvest time. We hope we can do so every year.
Our wedding day was very special and all we could have imagined. The Vineyard was lush and beautiful, and all my vendors were great to work with. The Hammersky staff made sure we w...
ere well taken care of. My guests have said they loved our wedding and thought the property was amazing. Many of our guests and family members came from the east coast and even Europe, and were so happy. It was relaxing and the wine and food was almost as memorable as our pictures. We are all happy we chose this venue to celebrate our wedding day.
Hammersky was the perfect backdrop for our wedding!
We did a weekend wedding there with a brunch on the following day and it couldn't be more perfect! Every guest could not get o...
ver the views.
The best part about this picturesque venue is that you hardly need any decorations to make it work! Just some flowers and the basic table and chair rentals does the trick. In the summer, it stays light until almost 10pm, so you don't have to worry about getting lighting folks as an additional cost.
If you want your wedding outdoors and you like wine, this is the place! The white barn is what initially drew me here, but the rest of the venue and the things included in the rental was what kept me here.
Also, Hammersky has accrued a lot of mason jars and lanterns and other basic decor from past weddings, so you don't need to worry about bringing a bunch of decorations with you.
The best part about renting the venue is the access to the farmhouse! We stayed there with our families and it was beyond amazing! Kim, the owner, thought of everything for our stay even yummy snacks for our arrival.
I didn't want to leave!
