Ashley & Matthew are a talented, conscientious and heartfelt team. We can’t believe we were lucky enough to work with them. They captured our day beautifully – both the highlights that we remember and little moments in between that my partner & I didn’t witness on the day but now get to look back on and cherish for the rest of our lives. I cannot say enough good things about how they execute their craft & just how great they are as people. You will want this duo there with you on your day, promise!

We have not yet received our film, so I'm writing this review just based on our wedding day experience. My husband and I cannot say enough about Ashley and Matt's guidance and professionalism throughout our wedding weekend. I was concerned that the ever-present cameras would change our behavior or make us act awkwardly, but Ashley advised us that they would quickly fade into the background. She was right. She and Matt blended in so seamlessly that I honestly forgot cameras were there. I know they captured truly authentic moments because of this. Matt hung out with my husband and his groomsmen during the day and they loved him. Ashley was in the bridal suite throughout wedding lead-up and she provided such a calming presence. She stepped in when needed, provided words of support when I felt overwhelmed, and really helped the day run smoothly. I really have nothing but great things to say. Although this was our splurge item in our budget, I would do it again and again. Despite every effort to be present and intentional on our wedding day, it truly goes by so fast. I can't wait to relive it when we receive our footage.

Could not recommend Hampton Road Studios more! They were so helpful and informative throughout the whole process. I’ve been watching their videos for years and when it was time to plan my wedding I knew I had to contact them ASAP. We just got our wedding video back and it was BEYOND what we expected. They captured every little detail that we didn’t even notice until seeing the video. We are thrilled and so glad we made the decision of choosing Matt and Ashley!

The video that Hampton Road Studios has done for us is amazing. When watching the video I thought, I did know they were there when we were doing that (like when we were acting crazy in the photo booth). They were everywhere and yet somehow they were not in the way at all. The production quality of the sound and video is breathtaking. They have perfectly captured everything. They are so easy and great to work with and the product is out of this world.

Ashley and Matt are two amazing people. They are so sweet and truly care about you and what you want. Your ideas, your style, your privacy, are all taken into account. On the day of the wedding, Ashley did everything she could to help me out in the 90+ degree heat, including carrying small bottles of water for me! They are so easy to get along with, and they worked great with all of my other vendors. Definitely recommend them!

Hampton Road Studios is by the best videographer team! Matt & Ashley captured every little detail of our wedding day and helped create our story for a lifetime. Matt and Ashley really took the time to get to know what we were looking for and did exactly as promised. I will never be able to thank them enough for what they have done to preserve our wedding day!

We had the most amazing wedding experience possible thanks to Hampton Road Studios! Ashley and Matt are so awesome to work with. They have the best eye for some of the most incredible shots and angles possible. We've heard from COUNTLESS friends and relatives over these last few weeks after they've just finished watching the highlights reel that is posted on HR Studios website. The comment we've heard the most often is that it feels like they're watching a trailer for a new Nicholas Sparks movie. :) I expected that I (the bride) would tear up watching it (cried like a baby each and every time, actually...) but what I didn't except was for everyone else who has seen it to have the same reaction each time they watch it too! HamptonRoadStudios.com must be getting a LOT of hits :) On top of being insanely talented, they are also one of the sweetest and funniest couples we've ever had the chance to meet and work with. They made everything from our initial meeting over coffee to our wedding day SO much fun! They were even able to recommend an INCREDIBLE makeup artist when I was having trouble finding one! (Thanks again Jackie @ RawwBeauty!) We truly consider them to be friends now, and we definitely look forward to working with them in the future! Thank you SO much Ashley and Matt!! :)

This husband/wife team was a pleasure to work with! They were very kind and did a wonderful job of blending in to help keep the footage natural rather than posed. With their editing skills and music choice, they created a very emotional highlight video (posted online less than 1 month after the wedding) and full-length video package complete with full ceremony, reception toast, and bloopers (received in the mail less than 2 months after the wedding). The disc practically lives in our DVD player. Wedding videography is a large investment, but you will not regret it! It will be so fun to show our children some day!

Hampton Road Studios did my video and although I haven't gotten it back yet, but I know it will be amazing. There website has great clips from other weddings. They were very professional but easy to be around and never made you feel like you were being recorded.
