The many photos, stories, and comments that were posted clearly illustrated the talent and creativity of Yumiko and her team. Once in contact and throughout the process, Yumiko was a pleasure to work with. From the very beginning, 10 months before the wedding, she communicated well and in a timely manner with us, readily making herself available for conversation and questions. She produced a thorough contract for me almost immediately that laid out the services she and her team would provide, the timeline for all aspects of the job, photos of the types of arrangements we could expect, and a complete breakdown of costs. All of this made selecting Hana Floral Design easy. As the wedding date approached, it was easy to set up a time to meet in person in her studio to preview flowers (pending availability) to be used in bouquets, garlands, centerpieces, and ceremonial urns; decorative items such as tapers, votives, etc. for the tables (both round and farm-house); containers for centerpieces and urns; and various decorative greenery for chairs, beams, and the like at the venue. I especially appreciated that Yumiko was open to incorporating in the larger ceremonial urns hydrangea blooms from trees that both I and the mother of the groom had in our respective yards. That meant a lot to us. The wedding day dawned clear, sunny, and warm, and everything provided by Yumiko and her team to decorate the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception venues was impeccable! The creativity of the various arrangements, the color combinations used, and the overall artistry were just what we were hoping for and more. Splendid! As background, I have another daughter who was married several years ago so have been through wedding planning before. Hana Floral Design was wonderful!

s, and I consider it a blessing! She was not only a dream to work with, but she and her team are SO talented. When I booked her, I had no idea what I wanted and could barely give her anything to work with, which every florist loves I'm sure ;) 2 years later, I had an album of hundreds of photos that were not *exactly* cohesive and some vague descriptive terms of what I liked. And somehow Yumiko was able to create exactly what I wanted! She was incredibly helpful in terms of making adjustments to keep things within our budget while still accomplishing everything we wanted, and when our guest list ended up getting significantly cut down very late in the planning process, she took everything in stride and was so flexible. Everything was so gorgeous! And the quality of the flowers were absolutely top notch. I got so many compliments on all the flowers, and the bouquets. I loved my bridal bouquet so much I had it preserved in an acrylic cube so I can keep it forever! Yumiko is the BEST and is such a fun and wonderful person to be around in addition to all her many talents. Book her and you'll be so so so glad you did!

Yumiko used the most gorgeous and unique flowers, and she was able to help me stay in budget working with more in season florals and also coming up with creative ideas on how we could re-purpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception. She also did an amazing job with the floral wreath that hung over our dance floor, and complementing the stunning floral table centerpieces with rose gold candle votives. I was so thankful to have met Yumiko and to have had her and her team be the floral designers for my wedding. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any future bride!

I can’t tell you how refreshing it felt to have a wedding vendor that I knew was not ripping me off. Not only that, I found a friend in Yumiko. She was recommended to me by my wedding planner who has worked with Yumiko for many weddings and that recommendation was the best I could’ve received. Yumiko was fabulous with communication, was very upfront about any costs and remained flexible to insure my peace of mind on my wedding day. Yumiko made every accommodation I asked for without hesitation. I wanted my bouquet for pictures 30 mins away from our venue? She drove them over in her car personally. The Hana team was early, professional and honestly better than I could’ve imagined. Although I live about an hour away, I am such a fan of Yumiko and her floral shop that I have driven up there to buy flowers from her and support her business since my wedding and will continue to do so in the future. It is really rare and wonderful to find such a kind wedding vendor who made a stressful process feel fun and enjoyable and made my every dream come true. You would be truly mistaken not to hire her! There are a few things I would do differently if I got married again but hiring Yumiko is absolutely not one of them. I will hire her again in the future if/ when I throw more events.

The day of the wedding when I first saw my bouquet (before seeing the tent) I was so happy with the final product. They were a work of art. But when I saw my tent for the first time, thats when I was truly blown away. Yumiko and her team hit the nail on the head with every single aspect. Not one complaint. The quality of the flowers were insane I just wanted to bring them all home with me! All of my guests were so impressed with the whole set up, and the tent wouldn’t have had the same feel without these spectacular flowers! If flowers are a main focal point for your wedding, I would 100% hire Hana!

When Yumiko dropped off our flowers the day of, I was extremely overwhelmed with joy. They were so incredibly detailed and beautiful. And to the tea on exactly what we had asked for. As for the venue, we had her do flat lays and votives on each table. It was so incredibly beautiful that the farm table in the middle of the room ended up being an attraction site as everyone had to come over to view the intricate lay out of the entire table. We are so pleased and highly recommend!

Hana Floral's approach to discussions around budget expenditures is always very professional, grounded, open, and respectful -- we always felt like we could trust their expert recommendations and that they were keeping the "big picture" in mind in terms of optimizing our goal floral budget while still ensuring our wedding floral design was *jaw-dropping gorgeous.* The attention to detail is unparalleled- and Hana Floral worked hard to incorporate some special details in our day [for example: A) whimsical real trees inside the reception tent B) a very rare/special family flower used for the father of the bride's lapel boutonniere- a sentimental surprise that brought the F.O.B. to tears!]. We have had numerous guests approach us and say very kind things like "your wedding was the prettiest I have ever been to" -- a compliment that only speaks to Hana Floral's incredible work. Yumiko, the owner, is a miracle worker and a phenomenal problem solver-- we were so impressed by her creative solutions and the whole team's incredible work ethic -- which saved the day when some last minute modifications were needed to our ceremony aisle on the day of the wedding. The Hana Floral team really did a phenomenal job and we are very grateful to them all for bringing so much beauty to our special day!
