Hana Floral Design

e team was wonderful to work with and brought our vision to life perfectly.

She brought joy to every meeting and we cannot thank her team enough for their creativity and care with every arrangement. From creating a bouquet with lilacs that was soft and seasonal, to creating the most gorgeous meadow-inspired look for our welcome table - they did it all. The day felt like a fairytale and that was all thanks to Yumiko and her team at Hana Floral. They are magic.

received so many compliments on how stunning the flowers were.

Somehow, Yumiko completely understood what we were envisioning—better than we did—and brought it to life in the most beautiful way. From my bouquet to the ceremony arrangements, cocktail hour décor, and reception florals, everything was breathtaking and created a cohesive, stunning look throughout the entire day. Yumiko also worked so well with our wedding planner to align with the overall vision of the wedding, which made the process so smooth and enjoyable. We couldn’t have chosen a better florist for our wedding. Yumiko and her team's creativity, talent, and professionalism were unmatched, and we are so grateful to them for helping make our day so special!

ls of our dreams! Every single flower she chose was perfection. Working with Hana Floral was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! From the bouquets, to the table arrangements, to the chuppah, everything was just incredible!

they created were breathtaking! I was truly speechless when I saw the arch they created for the ceremony and how they decorated our reception.

wedding and while it had a beautiful backdrop the rest of the space needed a huge splash of color and florals to brighten it up and make it more formal for a wedding. When I was looking for florists, Yumiko came highly recommended and she more than delivered. On social media you see all of these posts about how no guests notice the florals. That couldn't be further from the truth with Yumiko and her team. The entire evening and weeks later I still get comments from family and friends that my flowers were the most beautiful flowers they have ever seen at a wedding. Yumiko took my ideas and brought them to life. I can't recommend her enough. When I mentioned to my wedding planner that I wanted to work with Yumiko she stated "if you want that wow factor, Yumiko is it." She was completely right!

flowers that lined the aisle, all the bouquets and the centerpieces were fabulous! Even the cake table was stunning and the beautiful mantel pieces. You cannot go wrong with this team!

at they do best and I don’t regret a thing. They were worth every penny. I highly recommend and would give a 10 out of 10.

d my bouquet was stunning!

ng, unique, pretty, romantic, everything I wanted. I was worried with a smaller budget the flowers would feel sparse, instead it felt like you were walking through a garden party. Thank you to Yumiko, Liz and the entire team - a dream come true!

grateful for such an amazing experience!

olute pleasure to work with. Having seen her past work on Instagram, I was never worried about how our flowers would turn out, but Yumiko and her team truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Each and every floral arrangement was beautiful, and my bouquet was exactly what I envisioned...but better. We really can't say enough good things about Hana!

miko by the Events Coordinator then at Winvian, Hana Floral's social media presence, moderated by Yumiko, is what helped us make the decision to reach out to Hana Floral. The many photos, stories, and comments that were posted clearly illustrated the talent and creativity of Yumiko and her team. Once in contact and throughout the process, Yumiko was a pleasure to work with. From the very beginning, 10 months before the wedding, she communicated well and in a timely manner with us, readily making herself available for conversation and questions. She produced a thorough contract for me almost immediately that laid out the services she and her team would provide, the timeline for all aspects of the job, photos of the types of arrangements we could expect, and a complete breakdown of costs. All of this made selecting Hana Floral Design easy. As the wedding date approached, it was easy to set up a time to meet in person in her studio to preview flowers (pending availability) to be used in bouquets, garlands, centerpieces, and ceremonial urns; decorative items such as tapers, votives, etc. for the tables (both round and farm-house); containers for centerpieces and urns; and various decorative greenery for chairs, beams, and the like at the venue. I especially appreciated that Yumiko was open to incorporating in the larger ceremonial urns hydrangea blooms from trees that both I and the mother of the groom had in our respective yards. That meant a lot to us. The wedding day dawned clear, sunny, and warm, and everything provided by Yumiko and her team to decorate the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception venues was impeccable! The creativity of the various arrangements, the color combinations used, and the overall artistry were just what we were hoping for and more. Splendid! As background, I have another daughter who was married several years ago so have been through wedding planning before. Hana Floral Design was wonderful!

lorist instead of doing the florals myself. Yumiko was truly the kindest person on the phone and completely understood my vision. From the initial call to the day of the wedding it was such a blissful experience. Yumiko & her team truly made the most amazing floral arrangements I’ve ever seen!! My guests still can’t stop talking about the florals and how stunning the arrangements came out!!! Thank you so much for everything y’all did - truly such a beautiful day because of Hana Floral 💕

s ever since they attended the wedding! Not only were the bouquets, centerpieces, escort card display, stage planters, and chandelier adornments unbelievable - but Yumiko was an absolute delight to work with. Her creative genius is unparalleled. It was an honor to work with her. THANK YOU Yumiko!

g date rolled around, I had been "working" with her for 2.5 years, and I consider it a blessing! She was not only a dream to work with, but she and her team are SO talented. When I booked her, I had no idea what I wanted and could barely give her anything to work with, which every florist loves I'm sure ;) 2 years later, I had an album of hundreds of photos that were not *exactly* cohesive and some vague descriptive terms of what I liked. And somehow Yumiko was able to create exactly what I wanted! She was incredibly helpful in terms of making adjustments to keep things within our budget while still accomplishing everything we wanted, and when our guest list ended up getting significantly cut down very late in the planning process, she took everything in stride and was so flexible. Everything was so gorgeous! And the quality of the flowers were absolutely top notch. I got so many compliments on all the flowers, and the bouquets. I loved my bridal bouquet so much I had it preserved in an acrylic cube so I can keep it forever! Yumiko is the BEST and is such a fun and wonderful person to be around in addition to all her many talents. Book her and you'll be so so so glad you did!

ble arrangements from bridal bouquets, staircase banisters, reception arch, to a WOW headtable incorporating crystal candelabras and incredible floral arrangements. So highly recommended.

wonderful to work with. We jumped on many calls together over the past two years and Yumiko and her team elevated to elegance of both years. Her vision was perfect - she tied together the venue on the water to the dark blue bridesmaids dresses to the greenery I was hoping for. It was a dream!

r my mood board and she not only brought my vision to life, she exceeded it. I walked into my venue on my wedding day and my jaw dropped to the floor. I’d recommend her and her team to anyone!

made sure to give us great ideas within budget too. I love everything she does and her team was great at putting her ideas together and setting up day of!

utdoor scape but also because it would be an aspect of the wedding planning that would allow me to be creative and have fun with! When I met Yumiko I knew that she was the one that would be able to see my vision, add her expertise and creativity and execute flawlessly – she did all of this and exceed any of my expectations. I only wish that I could have saved every beautiful flower from the wedding and thought to have preserved my bouquet. Luckily I have the most gorgeous photos and memories to see them in! Yumiko used the most gorgeous and unique flowers, and she was able to help me stay in budget working with more in season florals and also coming up with creative ideas on how we could re-purpose flowers from the ceremony to the reception. She also did an amazing job with the floral wreath that hung over our dance floor, and complementing the stunning floral table centerpieces with rose gold candle votives. I was so thankful to have met Yumiko and to have had her and her team be the floral designers for my wedding. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any future bride!

helpful and the flowers were breathtaking. She was great at communicating and helping us feel relaxed even though we were planning a whole new wedding in just a few weeks. I cannot recommend Hana Floral enough!

miko took my vision and executed it beyond my expectations. She is a true professional with an extensive knowledge in her field which enables her to make dreams come true within peoples’ budgets (something she was always so wonderful to make sure was clear). I can’t tell you how refreshing it felt to have a wedding vendor that I knew was not ripping me off. Not only that, I found a friend in Yumiko. She was recommended to me by my wedding planner who has worked with Yumiko for many weddings and that recommendation was the best I could’ve received. Yumiko was fabulous with communication, was very upfront about any costs and remained flexible to insure my peace of mind on my wedding day. Yumiko made every accommodation I asked for without hesitation. I wanted my bouquet for pictures 30 mins away from our venue? She drove them over in her car personally. The Hana team was early, professional and honestly better than I could’ve imagined. Although I live about an hour away, I am such a fan of Yumiko and her floral shop that I have driven up there to buy flowers from her and support her business since my wedding and will continue to do so in the future. It is really rare and wonderful to find such a kind wedding vendor who made a stressful process feel fun and enjoyable and made my every dream come true. You would be truly mistaken not to hire her! There are a few things I would do differently if I got married again but hiring Yumiko is absolutely not one of them. I will hire her again in the future if/ when I throw more events.

d throughout my wedding. Her creativity is unparalleled - each bouquet, table arrangement, aisle decor was unique and created for the specific setting, adding a depth to the flowers that I really loved, but still part of the same overall theme. She is so talented and truly a master of her craft, and I can't recommend her enough!

gorgeous floral centerpieces and the extravagant floral chandelier in the middle of our reception tent. I would absolutely recommend Hana floral and cannot say enough about the amazing experience I had with them.

ance I was looking for and offered great advice during the planning process. As a medical student, I had limited time to plan my wedding and Yumiko helped make the process very easy and offered great recommendations. The work produced by Hana Floral Design is truly incredible!

certain tables & not others, greenery around the entrance of the tent, etc. ) and I knew my color scheme, but I did not have a great grasp of what type of flowers would work best for what I envisioned - so I put my trust completely in her team on that aspect. I had sent her some inspiration pictures early on in the process, but I actually got the chance to sit down with her in NYC to walk through my vision. She took the time to walk through every detail with me to make sure she was on the same page. I walked away from our meeting feeling SO confident that she understood my vision. The day of the wedding when I first saw my bouquet (before seeing the tent) I was so happy with the final product. They were a work of art. But when I saw my tent for the first time, thats when I was truly blown away. Yumiko and her team hit the nail on the head with every single aspect. Not one complaint. The quality of the flowers were insane I just wanted to bring them all home with me! All of my guests were so impressed with the whole set up, and the tent wouldn’t have had the same feel without these spectacular flowers! If flowers are a main focal point for your wedding, I would 100% hire Hana!

itate to go with Hana, Yumiko and her team are AMAZING!!!

hankful she was a part of our special day. Everyone was raving about the flowers and still are!

at I couldn’t help but hire her. Not only did Yumiko make all of my floral Pinterest dreams come true, but she was so sweet and lovely to work with, and her expertise and experience in the field were evident. The florals were such a huge part of what made my wedding stunningly beautiful, and I would choose her again in a heartbeat!

ledge, expertise and pricing so we booked immediately. Closer to the wedding we were able to physically sit down with her to flip through photos and floral books to pick specific flowers for the day of. When Yumiko dropped off our flowers the day of, I was extremely overwhelmed with joy. They were so incredibly detailed and beautiful. And to the tea on exactly what we had asked for. As for the venue, we had her do flat lays and votives on each table. It was so incredibly beautiful that the farm table in the middle of the room ended up being an attraction site as everyone had to come over to view the intricate lay out of the entire table. We are so pleased and highly recommend!

....thank you for making the wedding visually stunning!!!!

of all, the flowers at the event looked incredible and perfectly blended with our color palette and our vision for the event. The composition of every arrangement, bouquet, boutonniere, etc, was a work of art! Moreover, the Hana Floral team is unwaveringly professional, thoughtful, and pleasant to work with. Hana Floral's approach to discussions around budget expenditures is always very professional, grounded, open, and respectful -- we always felt like we could trust their expert recommendations and that they were keeping the "big picture" in mind in terms of optimizing our goal floral budget while still ensuring our wedding floral design was *jaw-dropping gorgeous.* The attention to detail is unparalleled- and Hana Floral worked hard to incorporate some special details in our day [for example: A) whimsical real trees inside the reception tent B) a very rare/special family flower used for the father of the bride's lapel boutonniere- a sentimental surprise that brought the F.O.B. to tears!]. We have had numerous guests approach us and say very kind things like "your wedding was the prettiest I have ever been to" -- a compliment that only speaks to Hana Floral's incredible work. Yumiko, the owner, is a miracle worker and a phenomenal problem solver-- we were so impressed by her creative solutions and the whole team's incredible work ethic -- which saved the day when some last minute modifications were needed to our ceremony aisle on the day of the wedding. The Hana Floral team really did a phenomenal job and we are very grateful to them all for bringing so much beauty to our special day!

of our dreams possible. Yumiko has incredible taste and was a pleasure to work with. We would hire her again in a heartbeat!!

wildest expectations. She was unbelievably flexible to my annoying requests, and we had numerous guests at our wedding telling us how beautiful the flowers looked. She's the BEST!!

g.

ly exceeded and everything was perfect. I’m still beaming with how incredible everything looked. Highly recommend this team!!

fectly. All of our guests could not believe how extraordinary the floral and hanging installations came out. If you're looking for something different and out of the box that will completely wow your guests, I highly recommend Hana Floral!!

re modern look than what you probably see on Yumiko's website and she hit it out of the park. We used gorgeous cherry blossoms which looked dramatic and filled up the large room/high ceilings without going over my budget. When my bridal bouquet was delivered to me during photos before the wedding, everyone completely freaked out by how gorgeous and big it was. I think an exact quote was "I guess you are the only bride in NYC who will be able to have flowers today!". My wedding was truly the best day of my life and Yumiko was one of the amazingly talented people who made it happen! Thank you!

erpieces and bouquets! Yumiko was so accommodating and flexible throughout the planning process when it came to helping us get the “look” we were going for, and her team really knocked it out of the park!

mention down to earth and easy to talk to too. It poured on my wedding day (brides worst nightmare) but that didn't matter-- the flowers brightening up the day and lit up the ceremony and reception space! They were truly a work of art-- exactly what you hope your florist could duplicate from your favorite wedding inspiration pinterest photos. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for making my wedding beautiful. If you are planning a wedding, Hana Floral Design is simply a must have.

lt so comfortable with her and was so thrilled to have her on our team! Her arrangements are truly stunning and she has a wonderful eye for color, balance, and texture. We had a very specific concept in mind, and Yumiko was able to perfectly translate that idea into a creating a beautiful, lush landscape throughout our venue. We were lucky to be able to stay on the property for a week after our wedding and our arrangements lasted that whole time – we had the most amazing al fresco dinners surrounded by a gorgeous garden of flowers! Her designs had a perfect balance of tradition and whimsy, and I only wish I could have her flowers in my home every day. I cannot recommend Hana Floral strongly enough.
