Hancock Shaker Village made our wedding so, so special. Every single person we worked with was so helpful and kind, and they extended that same kindness to our guests and our other...
vendors.
If you haven't had a chance to visit, the photos really cannot do justice to how absolutely stunning and special HSV is. Every direction you turn has a beautiful view, and there are a hundred spots for unique and visually interesting photos.
We also had a lot of guests with accessibility needs, and HSV can give you the feel of a more rustic wedding with the amenities (indoor bathrooms, mobility accessibility, etc.) that aren't always available in truly rustic venues. The other benefit is that there are great outside ceremony and reception options with the security of rain backups if you need them.
Deciding to have your wedding at HSV was easily one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process. Everyone we worked with there was incredibly professional ...
and accommodating and so lovely about taking the time to really make sure every detail was exactly what we wanted. We came into this not really knowing what went into planning a wedding, and the event staff at HSV was so patient with us and really guided us through the process. The event itself (outdoor ceremony, tent reception) was incredible, and even six weeks later people are still getting in touch with me to say what an amazing time they had. I would definitely recommend that anyone getting married in the Berkshire area check out HSV!
The Hancock Shaker village is a beautiful setting with a great location for cocktails before the reception looking out on the historic round stone barn and they have a great gigant...
ic outdoor deck where a tent can be put up for the rest of the reception.
