everything so easy and stress free. The work they do speaks for itself. Every photo we have received from them is absolutely stunning & their attention to detail really makes them top notch photographers. Our experience with them was amazing & we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer duo!

on instagram, and after our initial phone call we knew we had to book them. Not only did they capture ALL the most perfect moments (during our engagement session and wedding day), but they also have the most calming presence which is exactly what we needed for our day. They make you feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera to get naturally posed portraits, but they also manage to capture amazing candids and fun behind the scene moments. Communication with them was a breeze and they are overall such wonderful people to work with. They captured our day perfectly and made us feel like we were back in those moments while looking at our photos (and these are only the sneak peeks so far!!). HIGHLY recommend booking them for your wedding, their work is beautiful!

gagement session leading up to the wedding, and our wedding. They are so sweet and make it so easy to take pictures (specially for someone like me that gets nervous and awkward! 😂). They really helped with our timeline and putting everything together for the wedding & were so flexible on our wedding day. We received our pictures back so soon & honestly, we just couldn’t be any more happier with the outcome. Our pictures were absolutely beautiful & we cannot wait to see our album when it arrives! They were very professional in every aspect! I would 10000% recommend them to anyone!!

and knew we picked the two best people to capture our wedding after seeing our natural and beautiful engagement photos. We wanted the photographers to capture the day as it was and weren’t interested in stiff poses. Jes and Chris we extremely helpful in planning a timeline of the day so that they could capture all of our special moments. They captured the essence of our day perfectly and made us and our friends feel extremely comfortable. We could not believe that we got our sneak peek pics (over 120 photos!) less than 3 days later, and our full gallery within a month after our big day. We could not be happier with our photos and are very grateful to have worked with such kind and genuine people. Our loved ones can’t believe how beautiful the photos are as well. Do not hesitated to book with Jes and Chris (just do so early - they are the best and thus book up quickly!). Thank you so much, you two!

red all of our questions and made us feel very comfortable talking about a topic we didn't know much about. From there, we booked our engagement shoot in our hometown and Jes and Chris took the time to scout out perfect locations even though they never visited the area before. The photos came out in a timely manner and we were able to use them for our save the date. Throughout the process, Jes and Chris remained in close communication with us and were always quick to respond. They helped us prepare for our big day and the entire day went smoothly with their direction. I couldn't have wished for a better team to help capture our day and to listen to what we wanted / didn't want. I highly recommend Hand and Arrow to anyone looking for a wedding / event photographer. I couldn't be happier with our photos and our experience.

e’s big day. They made us feel so beyond comfortable and I really felt connected to them as soon as I met them. Please book them for your big events!!!

got our sneak peek pictures back today from our wedding and I am amazed at how they came out. Both our wedding and engagement pictures are amazing. My Fiancé (now husband) hatesss his picture taken and Chris & Jes knew exactly how to make him smile and get genuine shots without him noticing. Jes & Chris also allowed us to incorporate our dogs into our pictures without any hesitation. They truly do an amazing job and are extremely nice!

bove and beyond and we know our pictures are going to be absolutely everything we hoped for and more!

adjustments and Jes and Chris handled it with ease! They're a truly lovely and easygoing pair and made us feel comfortable immediately. Both our engagement photos and wedding album are phenomenal- we truly couldn't have chosen a better photography team to work with. Thanks for everything Jes and Chris, we are so glad we had you on our vendor team!

and helped us to take some beautiful shots. Fast forward to the day of the wedding and I cannot imagine the day without them. They are a great team and really understand how to capture a wedding day. From photos with our bridal party and family to portraits at sunset, we love every photo. Jes & Chris are easy to work with and are the ultimate hype team for making you shine on your big day! THANK YOU for everything!

ess and Chris are seriously the BEST photographers ever! Both my husband and I are pretty shy people and don't really feel comfortable being in front of a camera. But Jess and Chris made us feel so comfortable - like you are just hanging out with your best friends! They are also so flexible and willing to do anything to help you out! Jess even helped my mother in law steam out some wrinkles in my dress to make sure it looked perfect for our big day. Their photography skills are quite amazing also. Our wedding day was cloudy and we really wanted sunset pictures. They said no problem, we can get those for you and with their talents, they were able to work the camera and their other tools to capture photos with a sunset. We were truly blown away by that! They also sent our sneak peeks SUPER fast and they all look FABULOUS! They are genuinely amazing people and their skills behind the camera are truly out of this world. If you are looking for a compassionate, friendly, and skilled set of photographers, look no further! Jess and Chris are the ones for you. 😁❤️ My husband and I highly recommend Jess and Chris for any type of event that anyone has that is in need of photography. When our family starts to grow, we will be reaching out for maternity and newborn shoots too!

ded clueless us through every stage of the process. Our engagement photos were done at a unique space that required advanced booking, which they took care of on their end completely. They weren't at all intrusive during the wedding and reception, which enabled them to get some amazing candid shots throughout the day. As a team, they were able to get lots of complementary photos in different spaces, which was so important because my husband and I didn't see each other before the ceremony. I look back on our beautiful photos and am really glad that we went with them as our photographers. Thank you so much for making our engagement photos and wedding extra special!

timeline, and our guests were pleasantly shocked at how they seemed to be everywhere but also so stealthy - capturing so many moments that we wouldn't have seen otherwise. We did our engagement pictures with them and that was the first time we noticed how prompt they were with returning our pictures. We got married on July 2nd and within four days we had 165 pictures for our sneak peek, and on the 24th we got our entire wedding album!

y use a very organized platform for messaging, scheduling, and billing, and they always responded promptly to our messages. They were all super helpful for planning our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, I was a bit of a nervous wreck and Laurie really helped to calm my nerves and reassure me that everything was going ok. All my guests loved Laurie, and she captured such beautiful and candid moments that reflect the personalities of us and our guests. Not to mention the sneak peek of photos delivered a couple days after the wedding included 140 photos! It is so nice to have so many photos already!

great eye for detail. It was absolutely everything we wanted and more! Their style is unmatched. We absolutely loved them they are a dream!

ctures! And Jes and Chris don’t hold back, they are super generous with the amount of pictures they provide and they’re down for any type of pictures. We had a blast taking our wedding party pictures! I received multiple compliments throughout the day on how easy they were to work with and how great they are in general! My hair ppl were over an hour behind schedule and I was completely stressed out thinking I would have to sacrifice a bunch of pictures we wanted to do before the ceremony. Jes was such a calming energy and reassured me that we’re going to get all the pictures that we wanted, and we did! Our pictures are incredible and Jes and Chris are a wonderful team to work with! I highly, highly recommend them!

ing for a local photographer and immediately fell in love with their style. It’s so unique and different than most wedding photographers, bringing the deep rich colors of the day and the warmth of it all to life. Then once we met them, it was a done deal. Seriously two of the most amazing humans I’ve ever met. They are so comfortable to work with, making you feel beautiful and so in love during the photo shoots, and the photos are WOW gorgeous. All my friends and family were blown away by the quality. Highly recommend - they are worth it!

m the start of the hiring process all the way through the wedding!! They were an absolute pleasure to work with and went above and beyond! We received countless compliments on our photos and couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. Hire these two and you wont be disappointed!

y would be to work with. The entire process was so smooth from start to finish and working with Jes and Chris is like catching up with old friends. Hand and Arrow Photography are beyond phenomenal at what they do. They have this incredible ability to capture the energy of a moment in a way that feels like magic. I especially love the way they bring out the richness in colors while keeping everything cohesive. They angle their photography to create a story-like composition in every single photo. Their style is as vibrant and as welcoming as they are. The richness and clarity of the photos makes it really feel like you can jump back into these moments and relive them all over again. I have so many beautiful photos from our engagement shoot and wedding, the hardest part is choosing which to display! We also have many friends and coworkers who loved their action shots so much, they use them as their profile pictures. We have never taken professional photographs before. Hand and Arrow is so skilled in the way they’re able to get their couples comfortable enough to immediately bring out the trueness of their relationship. I would and will use Hand and Arrow again and again for any milestone my husband and I share. I often catch myself going back to our gallery and admiring our photos and every time, I am so impressed with their work. From the high energy of the party reels to the intimate captures, it feels like no moment was left out. We couldn’t be happier with our choice to use Hand and Arrow Photography Co.

h, genuinely nice people, and are so creative. They are not pushy, super flexible, and they have amazing ideas for photos. Jes and Chris go the extra mile for everything too, cant say enough good things. when we eventually have children we want them to take photos then too!

culous, kind, calm, and contagiously positive. You can't help but feel at ease around them, and you can feel confident in their steady support. Jes and Chris are experts not only in photography but in wedding day planning and execution. Know nothing about planning a wedding and need an entire day-of timeline? You got it. Need your veil pinned into your hair? Give Jes 30 seconds. Feeling nervous and need a pep talk? They got you. As for the photos themselves...our wedding sneak peek gallery left us with our jaws on the ground. Though we booked Hand and Arrow for our engagement shoot and wedding day, we feel confident recommending them for any type of event. Thank you, Jes and Chris, for helping to make our day everything we imagined and more.

e Jes & Chris our wedding photographers, but they were our support system & wedding planner, all wrapped in one pretty package. We were initially drawn to their amazing photography style and connected through Instagram. From the initial stages of the planning process to our wedding day (which was unfortunately postponed a year later), Jes and Chris were always there for us - quick to respond and address any and all our needs. Our encounters with Jes and Chris felt like that of long-time friends. Their warmth and professionalism truly warmed our hearts and we could not have asked for a better team to be there with us on the most special day of our lives.

nd Jes made us feel comfortable and shake away all those nerves you get in front of the camera. The photos we received back for our engagement session, wedding day, and anniversary session were absolutely stunning! We were able to use their built in store to buy amazing prints to hang in our home. We can’t wait to use them again in the future to document our family memories throughout the years!

in all responses, and made our wedding day stress-free with a timeline of the day. We just got all of our photos back and we are extremely happy with them. Thank you so much Jes and Chris!

er, they became so much more to us as we transitioned through each stage of wedding planning. We met Jes and Chris for the first time at our engagement session. Despite dating for over a decade, my husband and I were incredibly camera shy. Jes and Chris were so encouraging and had an expert eye for the exact angles and positions to capture seemingly candid shots. We also appreciated their willingness to adventure with us at sunrise to snap mountaintop photos. They are truly up for anything, which shines through in their diverse portfolio. No matter what type of couple you are, Jes and Chris will create authentic memories that truly reflect your love story. We were also blown away by how professional and easy they were to work with in the weeks leading up to our wedding. They communicated often and with great detail, which alleviated any uncertainty about the actual flow of events on the big day. When our wedding finally arrived, the timeline was so seamless and stress free. My entire bridal party was impressed by how smooth the day ran. Jes and Chris captured every shot we had dreamed of and made us feel like our authentic selves. We will cherish these memories forever, and cannot thank Jes and Chris enough for the time and effort they put into our big day. They are both wonderfully kind and selfless people and we are so blessed that they could share this experience with us. If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further, because it doesn’t get better than these two. We consider them friends and will jump at the chance to work with them again in the future.

h. Our pictures were everything that we hoped for. This past weekend they shot our wedding and I couldn’t be happier that they were there to support us and direct us through the process. I’ve never felt more comfortable in front of the camera , Jes was my own little hype person while getting ready! We couldn’t thank them enough for the entire experience!

rofessional, and needless to say— TALENTED. We had our engagement session, (COVID) pregnancy session, and our wedding this past weekend. They are extremely hard workers, and do so much to make sure they get the perfect photos for the occasion. Each session, they made sure to direct us on how to pose and create beautiful candid (and non) photos, all while making us smile and laugh. They prepared us with weather forecasts, timing for sunsets, and with ideas for props. They are also the best hype crew! We are so lucky to have found such a passionate team, who really know what they’re doing. I have no doubt they will grow and will be fully booked, so don’t hesitate and book them before it’s too late!!!

the easiest and BEST decision we made. They are just so sweet and amazing to work with. They made us feel so comfortable at our engagement shoot - it felt like hanging out with friends, not your photographers. And then they went above and beyond helping with every little detail of our wedding day; from rescheduling for covid, creating timelines, wrangling family for photos to make sure we got every shot we wanted, running into the rain for that “one perfect picture”… they were there for us through it all! Our pictures are so perfect and we couldn’t be happier. Jes and Chris, thank you so much for everything!!!

we were most looking forward to about our big day. We mentioned that we could not wait to have all of our family and friends together in one place to celebrate our love. The photos Jes and Chris captured of us and our loved ones are beyond what we had ever hoped for. They truly captured personalities, beautiful exchanges of love and laughter, and memories we will cherish forever. Thank you so much!

ave great direction, worked their butts off the get all the best shots possible during getting ready, the ceremony, the reception....honestly I still feel like I’m skimming the surface with how great these two are. Do yourself a favor, book Jes and Chris for your big day because they will go above and beyond for you.

er been photographed and weren’t sure how it would be. We had a pre-call with Jes and Chris and had a great conversation. When we did our photos, they made us laugh, smile, and helped us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. We hired them again for our mini-wedding and had an incredible experience. They gave us a ton of recommendations for locations for our elopement (we wanted a public, outdoor location) and helped us throughout the planning process. I would hire them again and again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer! I have worked with other photographers in the past and none were as great to work with as Jes and Chris. Not to mention, their photographs are beautiful!

pirited vibe to our whole day. Jes’ sweet demeanor helped me stay relaxed the morning of and got some beautiful shots of my girls and me. Chris was able to catch the wild and fun pictures of the guys getting ready. After having to change our wedding date because of Covid, Jes and Chris were not only flexible with the adjustment but helped bring my new vision to life. They captured all the magical and beautiful moments of our day and ones we didn’t even realize occurred until we got the photos back. They truly have an eye for capturing the beauty of a wedding day no matter the atmosphere. Jes and Chris are visionaries in their field and make you feel on top of the world the entire day. They gave us memories to last a life time and for that, there aren’t enough thank you’s in the world!

ss how grateful we were that they were so flexible. My husband and I aren't the most comfortable being photographed, but Jes and Chris made us feel relaxed and confident on our engagement shoot and also on our big day. They are both such warm people and their work truly speaks for itself. I have received so many compliments on our gorgeous photos and feel lucky to have our wedding forever documented by these great photographers.

emely flexible with our rescheduling along the way. When we postponed our original wedding ceremony, we decided to elope in the meantime. We still wanted photos of this special day and they were more than helpful in capturing it. Jes helped us find the perfect location and plan out the perfectly smooth morning. With just the 4 of us there, Jes and Chris served as the witnesses for our self-uniting elopement, which was extra special. Fast forward to April of 2020, we had our “traditional” ceremony and reception. Jes and Chris were there throughout the day, not only to capture the photographs, but also helping with odds and ends (thanks Jes, for all of the help with my hair and bustle). The evening went smooth and they knew exactly when to pull us away for more portraits so that we didn’t feel like we were missing out on the party. Not only have we received 3 galleries of beautiful photos to remember our special day(s), but we also feel like we have made great friends along the way. Thank you so much Jes & Chris!

nted to have a big crazy wedding with lots of friends and family members in attendance but, because of all the craziness going on in the world recently, we decided it was best to simply elope in a private and intimate ceremony. Since our friends and family were unable to attend, we wanted to hire photographers who could capture the day in such a way that, when they looked through the photos, they would feel as if they were right there with us, and Hand & Arrow Photography nailed it. As photographers, Jes and Chris are simply on another level in terms of skill and creativity. From the first moment we met them, they were professional, punctual, courteous, thoughtful, upbeat, and extremely innovative with their approach to photographing our wedding. We were staying at the Glasbern Inn in Fogelsville, PA, where our ceremony was to take place, and on the day of the wedding we were as nervous as we were excited. But the moment Jes and Chris arrived, the mood shifted from tension to ease, and they wasted no time diving into our world to capture the intricacies of each and every beautiful moment. Jes spent the afternoon with my wife, taking wonderful pictures of her preparing for the ceremony, getting her hair and makeup and dress ready, while Chris shadowed me and captured my point of view of the moments leading up the wedding. Their professionalism and experience began to shine quite quickly as they snapped amazing pics of the behind-the-scenes of the wedding, but in a very relaxed and easy-going way. It honestly felt more like I was hanging out with old friends rather than photographers we just hired and never met before. They are pros, plain and simple. Their catalog of previous work speaks for itself but to see them in action was quite amazing. They captured the most intimate moments with ease, and I never felt any pressure to look or act or stand or smile or pose in a certain way. They simply just captured the memorable moments we were already creating without knowing it. The ceremony went off without a hitch, and then the real fun began. We rode the excitement into the post-ceremony portraits, which was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. The energy was high and, while my wife and I were soaking in the fresh feeling of being married, Jes and Chris were taking what turned out to be some of the most beautiful and stunning pictures I’ve ever seen. As we were posing and laughing and enjoying the newlywed vibes, Jes and Chris were diligently creating masterful portraits that perfectly encapsulated the amazing afternoon that was my wedding. After the festivities, they were able to quickly send us back some “sneak peaks” of the wedding a day or so later and we were in awe. The scenery, the excitement, the love, and the overall atmosphere were all perfectly captured in a way we never thought possible. They nailed it. It is such a fantastic thought to know that we not only discovered two of the best photographers we’ve ever seen, but we met two great people who became instant friends as well. If my wife and I ever need professional photographers for ANY occasion in the future, we know exactly who to call: Hand & Arrow Photography.

about how amazing Jes and Chris are. They treat you like family throughout the entire planning process and show up to help in any way they can. They truly are the dream team. From our very first email to helping plan our engagement session to guiding us through the ups and downs of planning a wedding during a pandemic to supporting us after canceling our wedding to planning the most epic adventure elopement for us in 4 weeks; the expertise, talent, professionalism, communication, and genuine kindness that they brought was more than we could have ever hoped for. After making the hard decision to cancel our wedding due to the pandemic and newly implemented travel restrictions from work, Jes and Chris agreed to drive down to Virginia for an elopement day without hesitation. They listened to all our ideas and created an itinerary for the entire day! They also helped me find a florist, a hair and make-up artist, an Airbnb for my husband and I, and a Videographer to complete our day! They truly go above and beyond. Even on our elopement day when things did not go as planned (due to an ice storm and the road to our elopement location being closed) they already had Plan A, B and C ready to go! We got to spend our elopement day getting married at the cutest cabin in Luray, VA and hiking the Appalachian Trail through what looked like Narnia (on a trail Jes and Chris found for us) to get some insane mountain top photos. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and captured such genuine moments that let our personalities shine through. Our elopement day truly was the best day ever and completely surpassed anything we could have ever dreamed of. It all simply would not have been possible without the help of Jes and Chris. The day they helped us make possible and the photos they captured (which are so gorgeous they left us speechless) are memories we will cherish forever. Working with Jes and Chris was such a gift and we are so grateful to have had them part of our crazy adventure elopement story❤️

not say enough wonderful things about them! We found Jes + Chris online, and from day one of talking to them, we knew we had found our photographers. We trust them completely! Every single email was detailed and professional, EXTREMELY helpful and super friendly! Working with them was like working with friends! They sent so much useful information about planning a wedding + elopement and they had so many wonderful tips and tricks that they’ve picked up over the years. Also, planning anything during a global pandemic is stressful- they handled it like pros!! For our engagement pictures, they made us feel so comfortable and we spent the whole day laughing together. (I highly recommend booking an engagement shoot before your wedding so you can meet them and also get used to getting your picture taken...we are awkward turtles and we definitely needed the warmup!) They also roll with the punches! We had planned an Airbnb elopement in the Poconos- at the last second we had to change our plans and host our ceremony at my parents house...they didn’t miss a beat, jumped on board with the new plan, and immediately helped plan out some day-of photo ops! And on wedding day, they were a DREAM to work with! They have a vision and they know how to execute it flawlessly! And of course, their pictures are gorgeous! They sent us some sneak peeks the day after our wedding and we are just blown away. We cannot wait to see more! I want to print every single picture, frame them, and fill an entire house with them!! Seriously, you need to hire them, you will not regret it!!!!

will feel awkward and look super staged or corny. Jes and Chris made the entire experience comfortable and fun. We didn't feel awkward at all and the results were amazing! We can't wait to use our photos for our Save the Dates and wedding website. The only reason we're not using them as our wedding photographers is because we're having a destination wedding. If we were getting married in the area Hand and Arrow would be our top choice for our wedding photographers.

municated with us every step of the planning process. We had to make major changes to our wedding day because of the pandemic and H&A helped make us feel at ease and confident everything would go smoothly and on time. Our family and friends absolutely love the photos and details that were captured by H&A. We highly recommend them to any couple on their wedding day.

the day of, Jes and Chris were incredible. Photography was easily one of the most important aspects of my wedding planning, and I'm so glad we went with them. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and captured such authentic moments in both our engagement and wedding photos. I look at my photos everyday and feel so lucky to relive the best day of my life through these beautiful photos. I'm so grateful to Jes and Chris and will treasure these memories forever.

ir website that they encompassed the perfect style of photography that we had been hoping to find for our wedding. After our brief introduction phone call with the 2 of them, we just knew they were the perfect fit for us. Jes and Chris are a magical power couple! First we had our engagement shoot in Philly back in October of 2018, followed by months of planning and plenty of open communication and then finally, our big day in Bethlehem, PA just this past October (2019). We could not have chosen a better couple to master our wedding photos. We literally loved every second spent with Jes and Chris. During our entire wedding day (we chose their full day wedding package so they were with us from early morning until 10pm!), Jes stuck with me and my bridesmaids while Chris was with my husband and his groomsmen. They both have such an amazing and collaborative style, they captured every ounce of the "moody" style we were going for, every little detail and every special moment that took place through out the day. The story of our wedding day is now able to be told through the photos that Hand and Arrow flawlessly created for us. Jes and Chris knew exactly which breathtaking scenery and angles would make for the perfect photos. They were able to organically capture our ring bearers and flower girls (our neices and nephews ranging from age 1-10) which was extremely important to us. They made us feel so unbelievably comfortable all day long and they even laughed with us during every goofy moment of the day. We could not be happier with the way that our day turned out and all of the memories that we now have to share through photos for the rest of our life all thanks to Jes and Chris. If you're planning a wedding and need a photographer, look no further - Jes and Chris are 6 billion percent your best choice!

created a wedding timeline for us, and were very organized. On the wedding day they came right on time, and made all of us feel so beautiful and comfortable. Everything was perfectly timed. Nothing ran behind! And the photos came out perfect. They captured the magic, love and laughter of the event. I look at them all of the time, and am immediately taken back to the most wonderful day of my life. I couldn’t be happier with the choice we made!

from them were amazing and documented everything perfectly. We highly recommend them to anyone getting married!

ment shoot they made us so comfortable behind the camera and took such beautiful and unique photos. On the day of the wedding, they made every photo taken feel organic and look natural. Although it rained that evening, they still found a way to take breathtaking photos, and did not take us away from enjoying too much ceremony time. Additionally, they offered a time line for the wedding day and continuously offered help with other vendor info, first look locations, etc. They are such kind, talented and professional photographers and my husband and I look forward to working with them in the future!
