My fiancée and I chose Seeking Films to do our engagement photos because we absolutely loved their style of capturing and editing photos. Trevor took our engagement photos, and he was extremely personable, making us feel comfortable and excited our whole session. He helped us with posing and knew exactly what type or look we were envisioning simply by interacting with us and using his expertise. Overall, the experience was beyond wonderful, and we could not be happier with the results. The photos look amazing, and all our friends and family are as obsessed as we are! If you’re on the fence about who to book, Seeking Films is a no brainer. We couldn’t imagine anyone else taking our photos because of how everything turned out. When we were originally planning our wedding ( way back in 2019 ), we were very interested in seeking films because of their very unique style ( from the many photographers we have looked into, this was a very easy decision for us to make based on their portfolio). Due to COVID + restrictions in both the US and China/Korea, we had to postpone our wedding for 3 years, and seeking films has been incredibly understanding and flexible to allow us in rescheduling our wedding photoshoot date. Fast forward to 2023, Trevor and Yuyu, who were our photographers during our wedding day did an amazing job with everything and the end result photos really below us away! We loved every single photo that they took and edited. Words really can't express how amazing the photos were ( they were also EXTREMELY fast in finishing the photos!). In addition to the amazing photos, we also had tons of fun during our photoshoot - we couldn't have asked for a cooler photographer We will definitely be recommending Seeking Films to all of our friends/family/acquaintances who are planning to get married/have a photoshoot in Hawaii ! For all of you who are planning your wedding, investing in the seeking films team as your photography team will be the best investment you can make. SeekingFilms delivered beautiful, natural, and joyful photos and videos that I hoped for. We had a backyard wedding, and they made it look magical, like a professional venue. They made it easy to feel like ourselves -- cute and silly, so we saw our genuine personalities shine through. We also got some romantic, glamorous shots thanks to their tips of how to pose, where to look, or how long to kiss for. Since our wedding was over a year ago, we have albums/videos we love to share and I'm happy that some friends have used their services too with our personal recommendation.

I am so picky & I did a ton of homework before booking photographers & videographers for my wedding and engagement shoot. I wanted something a little moodier, that didn't look like every cookie cutter wedding photo that was like your-iPhone-but-better. I loved Seeking Films' style & work. That moody-but-clear-but-blurry-where-it-made-sense style that was so hard to find. Working with them was amazing. First of all, they're so chill, and you want that vibe around on stressful days. Second, Trevor helped me & my fiance pose - which is guidance we desperately needed. They were so helpful throughout the process & answered all of our questions, going above & beyond to make every one of my requests come true. The result is amazing. I was literally screaming as I saw the photos - they came out better than I could ever imagine! Also VERY FAST turnaround time. I didn't know I needed this, but I absolutely did because I actually wanted to see how my engagement pictures turned out so I could give my wedding makeup artist feedback in a timely manner. They were done SO fast I couldn't believe it. Highly recommend - you won't regret it!

Trevor and his team went above and beyond for our Engagement and Wedding Photography and Video! They are an absolute joy to work with and make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, while also not being intrusive during your events. The quality of the photos are unreal and we're so happy to have all our moments capture. Trevor also provided our final wedding photos super quickly to accomodate our next event which was amazing! You won't regret working with them on your special day!

Trevor was AMAZING. We were one of those weddings that had to postpone for 2 years because of the friggin pandemic. But that did not slow Trevor’s enthusiasm for us, he was ride or die for our wedding. He was so much fun on the wedding day, he brought the laughs, the fun, the excitement and most importantly his great eye for an incredible shot. We went with the Light Photo package which is 6hrs of coverage/2 photographers/photos edited to color/contrast/lighting. This was perfect for us because we didn’t really want photos of us getting ready (like hair/mu or putting dresses on) so the timing worked great for us. They arrived at 2p and left around 8p. My wife and I had quite a few VERY specific staged photos (we wanted to match a lot of still images from our fav movies we love, with us and our bridal party and family members) that we wanted to get and Trevor and his wife (who was our other photographer on the day) made sure we got them all. When we originally told them this idea we had to do this for 8+ photos, they didn’t flinch. They were excited and even planned out the timing of to get each shot. Trevor’s wife even came with our spreadsheet printed out so everyone could see which poses to do which was BEYOND helpful. Trevor made sure the lenses he used would get the right angle/shot to match. And what was even cooler he was so fast with this part so wasn't like it wasted time or anything. Here is one example of Trevor going above and beyond: I wanted a BIG group photo of everyone at the wedding from a high up angle, normally you’d probably have to get a drone to do this, but Trevor made it happen by running up a big hilltop to get the shot. The photo turned out better than I expected and we can see EVERYONE that came to our wedding from such a cool vantage point. I didn’t ONLY want our staged photos, after all I knew from seeing Seeking Films website that I wanted photos that Trevor wanted to take and capture through his talented eye. I was blown away with the results. What I also loved was that Trevor and his wife got amazing photos that I could never even thought of and things I will always want to remember. Like photos of all our guests pre-ceremony and pre-reception so we could see what they were doing when my wife and I were off getting hair/mu done or taking couples photos. To top it all off Trevor’s color correction is so cinematic that your photos don’t just look like any ole photo, they look epic. If you are looking for a wedding photographer Seeking Films is it!

Trevor and his team shot our wedding back in April and they were the best! We had a destination wedding so communication was very important to us. Trevor was always prompt in responding to emails and open to doing phone calls. On the wedding day he was able to capture all the beautiful and magical moments. The photos turned out so perfect and beautiful and bring back so many memories from the wedding day. They are truly photos we will cherish forever. Seeking Films did our wedding back in March and dang they were amazing! A couple things to note about their professionalism and ability to have fun: 1) They stayed the whole day from morning to midnight without fatigue. They captured a tea ceremony, first looks, ceremony, and reception. 2) They were able to make the babies look at the camera when taking pics. Trevor does a dope wookie impression. 3) They were easy to communicate with and accommodate us when we needed extra time to be added to the shoot. 4) They made my wife and I, who are the opposite of photogenic, get into some awesome looks for the shots. Thank you guys for cementing our memories forever!

Seeking Films was suggested to us by our wedding planner & after reaching out to numerous photographers to find the right fit, we're so glad we decided to work with Seeking Films! If you want to have bomb wedding/engagement photos that you can't stop staring at for hours and work with someone who is easy going and professional then they're the perfect people for you! We booked with Trevor for our wedding which included an engagement shoot. We really wanted our 5 yo corgi to be in our engagement photos and shared with Trevor that we wanted to do a city vibe shoot as well as beach photos, which he was totally cool with bringing our dog (extra points for that!). Trevor recommended different spots for us and even suggested to shoot on a Sunday for free parking and less traffic which btw was perfect!!! My fiance and I have never done professional photos before so I was a little nervous and hoped we wouldn't look awkward. Trevor helped us pose and gave us different prompts as well! Trevor has such a great sense of humor we were laughing and having such a great time. We even got to meet his wife and his baby who also helped to get our corgi to smile in photos as well! I was surprised to get our engagement photos back so quick - like in a week! Trevor gave us a link to our photos and each photo was edited so nicely and the quality was chefs kiss*. I'm OBSESSED with our photos I literally wanted to cry when I saw them! If i could upload our whole gallery here I probably would haha. I can't wait to work with Trevor again in December for our wedding.

After more than a decade of following wedding photographers and having worked with DSLRs for even longer, I knew I wasn’t going to be interested in most photographers and their wedding shots. A lot of wedding photos end up being lovely portrait shots, but I wanted more. I didn't want the typical beach shots (despite being in Hawaii), and I was especially picky knowing how much I hate being photographed since I feel like I look stupid 99% of the time. I went through dozens of Hawaiian wedding photographer options and axed all of them almost immediately. Then I found I found Seeking Films. The website portfolio really showcased the vibes I was drawn to: moody filters, beautiful lighting, excellent framing, with touches of bright humour. Trevor, our photographer, knew exactly what I was looking for and even helped map out our our awkward request of splitting up our session over two days and different locations. He was a professional to the fullest during a time where anxieties and stress levels were running a bit high, which I am so grateful for. He knew exactly how to direct us, found us the best spots and best lighting, and basically helped make wedding photography magic. Months later, people I barely know come up to me and let me know that they are blown away by our beautiful wedding shots I posted on social media. I couldn't have manifested a more perfect collision of worlds. Our only splurge on our destination wedding was photography - we skipped and skimped on almost everything else - and it was 100% the best call. I can't recommend Trevor and Seeking Films more.

We had the opportunity to do an engagement shoot with Seeking Films and it was absolutely one of the most wonderful experiences that both my fiance and I had. Seeking Films was proactive about communication and on the day of the shoot, our photographer (Trevor) simultaneously kept us at ease but was meticulous about getting great shots! The experience overall was so genuinely so much fun and the actual photographs were so, so wonderful. I can't highly recommend Seeking Films enough!

Trevor photographed our engagement photoshoot, and I can guarantee you he is one of the best photographers I have met. I did extensive research on engagement photographers before our trip to Hawaii. We went through full albums of multiple photographers who are well known on instagram. However, none of them blew away like trevor’s photos did. Our wedding planner in Miami had her sister's photos taken by Trevor and highly highly recommended him. We cannot be happier with our decision. Trevor is incredibly talented and very passionate about his work. He went above and beyond when taking our photos and editing them later. We would be wrapping up in one location and he would RUN towards sunlight to get amazing photos. We had so much fun with him. We got our album back in a week (!!!!) and couldn’t stop smiling and laughing throughout the whole album. He sent us SO many photos. It looked like he was at multiple places at once. He got photos from different angles and lights, our photos just look AMAZING. Our friends and family are all blown away too. After seeing our photos, my friend also booked him right away. I can't thank Trevor enough and, if you are looking for a photographer, just BOOK him!!

First off, yes, you should absolutely choose seeking films. You’ll thank me later! My husband and I had researched many different photography/cinematography companies, but when we saw Trevor’s profile, we knew we found the one! We loved the candid, glowiness (is that a word?) and natural feel to all of his photos. I reached out via email and his response was very prompt! We even had a chat over the phone (still in a pandemic & I’m from the mainland) to discuss my millions of questions lol. The entire time it felt like I was having a conversation with a friend. Finally, day of the shoot my family and I were so nervous! We had never done a professional family shoot, and we were worried that our poses and facial expressions would match that. We met Trevor on location and he quickly helped ease our fears. He gave great prompts and tricks to make us feel like we were just hanging out at the park with our kids. Throughout the entire shoot he always made sure each of us was okay and even offered the kids breaks. During our adventure it was awesome to see his spurts of inspiration when the right lighting would peak through the clouds and/or through the trees. By the end of the session it had felt like we were just hanging out with family and taking photos! We also got our photos back much faster than I expected!! The moment I opened the album I cried actual tears lol. I had been so worried about my hair and possibly looking so awkward, but there was NONE of that in any of our photos. My family and I all agree that finding Trevor/seeking films was/is such a blessing! We even decided on the spot to hire him for our wedding! Trevor photographed both our engagement and wedding, and he was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Starting with the engagement - my husband secretly reached out to Trevor once I mentioned I'd like Trevor to capture our wedding day. I had researched a number of photographers, and ultimately went with Seeking Films since I loved the style and tone of their work. Trevor was kind enough to coordinate with my husband in the surprise engagement shoot, texting throughout the day, and being flexible with the timing. He shot every moment beautifully, from the moments leading up to the proposal, to family members coming out of hiding, and everyone's excitement during/after the proposal. We took couple-photos as well, and although my husband and I are no models, Trevor's super chill and funny, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. We thought we'd receive the footage weeks after the engagement, but Trevor sent them over within a few days! Once the wedding day came by, Trevor arrived early to the venue, and was a true professional and so helpful from beginning to end. Through the wedding chaos, he calmly directed everyone, and had amazing attention to detail, knowing everything from where each person should stand, to which side the wedding dress train should be on. After the ceremony, I was already so impressed and grateful for Trevor's work, but he further surpassed all my expectations when he recommended a nearby spot for a spontaneous sunset shoot! He generously took the time to photograph from a variety of settings, and we couldn't be happier with the photos! He truly has an amazing eye and gift for photography. We can't thank Trevor enough for his work, and would recommend him/Seeking Films to anyone looking to capture their special moments!

I first found the company Seeking Films from The Knot website when looking for a photographer. Not only was their prices reasonable, but their style, quality of work, and attention to details was spot on. When I found out they were available on my wedding date, I had no choice but to book them right away for our endgame to shoot and wedding day. Trevor, our photographer was so easy to work with. He was responsive and accommodating towards any suggestions I may have. During our engagement photo shoot, Trevor and his wife Yuyu made it so comfortable for me and my now-husband that when trying to pose for shot, Trevor would make funny comments in order for us to relax. All I can say is..it made our pictures look BEAUTIFUL! As our wedding day approached, Covid hit and things got overwhelming. Trevor was so great to check on us and how we were doing and made rescheduling easy. As places started to open up, my now-husband and I decided to go through with the marriage. Trevor was very flexible with the changes and on board through it all. We received our photos within weeks and we have gotten so many compliments on them!! So happy to have found Seeking Films!

Trevor is a phenomenal photographer. He is kind, patient, punctual, and highly adaptable. He shot my wedding and we have also collaborated on bridal and other fashion photoshoots. His photos are excellent and he is intuitive. He knows when to capture the right moment at the right time. I would recommend Trevor to anyone seeking to hire a photographer, whether it is for wedding, bridal, engagement, fashion, editorial, you name it! We had a wonderful time with Trevor, Jack, and Rena. They were extremely helpful from beginning to end and made our wedding that much more enjoyable. My husband and I were completely clueless about what packages we should get, if we should get photo and/or video, how we should set up the timing of the photos, etc., and Jack helped us arrange every detail! We had our wedding on Big Island which added another layer of complexity but working with Seeking Films relieved so much of our concerns. Trevor was super funny and helped us get comfortable in front of the camera- we are both painfully awkward but we were able to have fun! We could not have appreciated them more. The final photos also came out absolutely beautifully and Trevor captured so many different aspects that we felt we could relive the day. We haven't reviewed our videos yet but are sure that they'll be just as amazing! We have only glowing, positive things to say about Seeking Films and will definitely recommend them to anybody needing photo/video services.

My fiancé and I just did our complimentary engagement shoot with Trevor after booking our wedding photography package. We were so incredibly pleased with our experience and the final photos we received! Trevor was super accommodating when rain interrupted our initial shoot day and let us reschedule. During the shoot he provided excellent guidance to get us to laugh and look natural in front of the camera. He has an excellent eye for lighting and utilizing our beautiful surroundings. Seeking Films is the best!! We are so, so glad we hired them for our wedding photography and videography. We searched through countless photographer and videographer websites as we were planning our wedding, and we were extremely impressed by the quality of videos and photos we saw on their website. We scheduled a video call with Jack and Trevor (since we live in California) to get to know them a little bit before booking their services. They were both so warm, friendly, and funny on the video call and we instantly knew that we wanted to work with them! We were so excited and looking forward to having their good energy at our wedding. On our wedding day, they were just the same as on our video call. They are such a pleasure to work with! So professional and friendly! They worked hard all day and night long to capture all of our special moments. Trevor and Yuyu are such a sweet photography couple and made my now-husband and me laugh so much the entire day! I had a dress malfunction at one point where one of my off-the-shoulder sleeve attachments popped off (it was attached through a bit of a complicated button arrangement), and Yuyu was so sweet and helped me fix it. They also gave us awesome wedding advice since they are a married couple themselves! They really made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. We just got our photos back and we are so thrilled with how they turned out!! I seriously can't stop looking at them. They are so, so beautiful and they took us right back to that wonderful day and they perfectly captured our happiness! We will cherish these gorgeous photos for the rest of our lives. Jack and his assistant were also so pleasant and awesome and worked their magic the entire time! They found the best spots with the best lighting and scenery to film, and I am so excited for when our video will be ready. I will be sure to update my review when it comes out. My husband and I cannot recommend Trevor enough. He was highly recommended to us by a videographer friend and I am so happy we were able to work together. Seeking films is a company that is caring, friendly and professional. The day of our wedding they made sure that me and my wife were okay during our crazy day. We really appreciated the fact that seeking films cares about people and not just the job itself. We loved the fact that Trevor our lead photographer was great at handling old family members and kids when taking photos. Always positive and respectful even though it was chaotic and busy. Seeking films is not only good at taking photos but building a trusting relationship to share such an intimate moment in our lives. That being said we were amazed at the photos we got that day! We really loved the fact that the photographers took lots of candidate shots of us and family. I am a fan of in the moment pictures and they did a great job of that! What an amazing experience shooting with Seeking Films ! We booked Seeking Films for our wedding and got a free engagement shoot with it. How awesome is that ! Just thinking of an engagement shoot was stressful but Trevor and his wife Yuyu made it so easy to contact and work with that it was a breeze. I showed Trevor the type of photos we wanted to do and right away he knew of different locations that would be perfect for our shoot. He even went to scout the location beforehand to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. The day of our shoot we started in a studio because I wanted up close photos of me and my fiancé. I had a Pinterest board of inspiration poses we wanted to do. Trevor and his wife made sure we got every single pose I had on my Pinterest board. They made us feel so comfortable to be in front of the camera. They made us laugh and smile the entire shoot. Trevor even got my fiancé who is super shy to loosen up and smile for the camera. Which is rare for my fiancé. It didn't even feel like we were doing a photoshoot. It was the easiest and most fun shoots we ever done. After the studio we moved to an outdoor location which was so beautiful. It was exactly what we wanted. Our shoot was on Saturday and by Thursday we received a full gallery of all our photos. He said it would take more than a week but we got it right away. Which I love ! When we got the photos I cried !!! It was the most beautiful photos Ive ever seen of me and my fiancé. These photos will last a lifetime and Trevor did such a great job capturing us. The photos were clear and in high resolution. Even single photo captured us and who we are as a couple. We are so excited for Trevor and Yuyu to shoot our wedding.

They not only took artistic and timeless photos (might I dare say museum worthy?!?), but they were able to capture our personalities/style and all of the candid moments that made our wedding day special. As an added note, I don't consider myself a photogenic person or someone who is used to be in the spotlight (aka I have horrible posture and rbf) but they made me feel comfortable and at ease even when I had pre-ceremony jitters. And did I mention that I looked like a model in every shot? Now that's talent!

We are thrilled we had the opportunity to work with Seeking Films. Initially, we didn't plan on having a videographer at the wedding, but we stumbled upon Seeking Films' work and fell in love. From the beginning, Jack was really responsive and worked with us to create a package that fit our budget. On the day of the wedding, he and his team were super professional and under the radar; we barely noticed they were there! We received our film a few months after the wedding, and we were blown away by how beautiful it was. It captured the spirit of the day, and we appreciated that Jack listened to our preference for incorporating vows and speeches into the audio. Even though the initial edit was amazing, we wanted to include a few shots of specific guests (mostly family members), and Jack worked with us to add them in, even though we felt like we were asking a lot. We're so happy with the final cut, and we definitely recommend working with Seeking Films if you have the opportunity!

We are so glad to have had Seeking Films as our photographer and videographer for our wedding. I first found them on Wedding Wire and fell in love with their work soon after. I emailed Jack about pricing and availability and he contacted me right away. We ordered the Same Day Edit videography/8 hour photography coverage. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, he was very understanding and flexible for what we wanted to have captured in our wedding. We met Jack and Lina for our concept engagement shoot at Lulumahu Falls Trail. They made us feel very comfortable and despite it being a very windy day, they managed to capture some amazing moments. On the day of, the Seeking Films team arrived on time and ready to go. They were very accommodating and even asked if we wanted any special shots. Trevor was great with taking photos with the kids! During the reception, they showed our Same Day Edit coverage which was PERFECT. A few days following the wedding, they provided our Same Day Edit online (with a few more edits) which turned out EVEN MORE PERFECT. They also provided a sample album of the photos they took which were BREATHTAKING. They captured all of our favorite moments and made it into art. There are not enough stars to rate Jack and his team. From the first email to our short film-everything was handled with promptness and professionalism. Our wedding was planned from CA and we were very lucky to have happen to fall upon Seeking Films on Instagram. We fell in love with their style, both photos and film. And for the price, it can't be beat! During the wedding, honestly we only remember seeing Jack once during the whole day-which is a great thing because it should be au natural knowing the video is something you'll watch forever. Travis lead the photography part of our day, making us feel comfortable in front of the camera (definitely something we were not used to). Honestly, you’re wasting time looking any further 😊 The incredible team of photographers and cinematographers were in every moment, seamlessly capturing every part of our beach day, luau rehearsal dinner, beach ceremony and backyard wedding – even wearing waterproof boots so they could stand in the ocean to not miss a single good angle! Jack has been wonderful to work with, working hard to give us everything we hoped for from inception to the final product. My husband and I are both writers and the short film doesn’t just tell the story of our wedding weekend, it tells the story of our lives. This is an overdue review! The guys of Seeking Films are awesome, so easy and very cool to work with! They were recommended by our photographer who has the same aesthetic/style they do. We live in New York City, and came back home to Hawaii to take care of planning. They were so accommodating and flexible to our crazy planning schedule, I probably changed our filming date 3x! We primarily communicated with Jack, and met Trevor the day of our 1st filming. We did what my husband called a "Hype Video" for our wedding. We filmed in a few places around the island, with change of outfits too, and they also allowed us to personalize elements in our video with the music! The hype video was the bomb! Our wedding video SDE was even better!! They captured so many meaningful moments in our wedding (...like my husband crying, haha!), that made it all priceless. So many compliments left & right! These guys & their team are very talented, and deliver quality work! There are so many videographers out there, but these guys have a unique quality/style that sets them apart from others in Hawaii! I’ll refrain from commenting on the actual product. If you’re reading this review, you’ve probably already had a chance to view some of their work and you don’t need me to tell you THEY ARE THE BEST. The quality of their work speaks for itself. What I will comment on is the experience we had working with Jack and Seeking Films. From the start till up to the moment we said I do and even months after has been an absolute pleasure. Anyone can film two people but to tell a story like they do takes something special. We felt comfortable throughout the whole process allowing us to be ourselves fully and allowing Jack and his team to capture it. We also really appreciated their response time. They were prompt in returning our emails and texts and were very flexible with our schedule. I’ve heard horror stories of other couples waiting over a year to receive their final product. Jack and his team finished in 2 months without compromising quality. They were also very flexible. Upon our request, they were able to stay longer on our wedding night. Also, due to my husbands job description, we had to omit some parts of the short cinematic film. Without hesitation or complaint, Jack and his team made the edit. They went above and beyond our requests and put out a better product then we could have hoped for. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Seeking Films to anyone who is looking for a Videographer for their special moment.

Seeking films review Invest in your photos and video! I am so blown away with just the Same Day Edit. I can't wait to see the full feature! My husband and I were searching a while until we found Seeking Films. We wanted a videographer who could capture our personalities, showcase our close moments cinematically, and more importantly to just have fun with us on our big day. Luckily, The Knot website recommended Seeking Films as a vendor on my profile. I watched a few of their videos on Vimeo and I just fell in love. I knew Jack and his team were the one and I was excited to see what they could create for my husband and I. The process went very smoothly. We got in contact with Jack, told him what we wanted, he drew up a contract, and we had a videographer! We really appreciated his flexibility with everything - from capturing our gender reveal, the payments, and our crazy timeline for the wedding day. He's a quiet guy, but easy to talk to and work with. They've got a great team with great things going for them. They were very professional and super fun to have around. After looking into 6 other videographers, not just on Oahu but on the neighbor islands too, we decided on Seeking Films and I can't say anything but wonderful things about Jack and his team! Videography was one of the elements of the wedding we cared about the most, and we could not have chosen a better team of artists! They captured lovely seemingly insignificant moments and artfully wove them together to create our wedding story. The highlight short film was so incredible and the quality was outstanding. Communicating with the team was always easy--which is important especially if you were planning a wedding from afar like I was! Lastly, even with three videographers at the wedding it never felt like any of them were "in the way." The team was very respectful and professional! I just wish I had another life event to have an excuse for them to make another film :)

My husband and I had the privilege of working with Seeking Films on our wedding day. We were not initially planning to hire a videographer for our wedding, but when we came across Seeking Films’ website and watched some of their beautiful highlight films, we fell in love! Planning a destination wedding in Hawaii can get stressful at times but working with Jack was completely stress-free and was greatly appreciated since it was one less item to worry about. I initially fell in love with the beautiful photographs and heartfelt cinematography while doing research for our wedding. After reading their philosophy and then meeting Jack and Trevor in person, we knew that we had found the right choice for us! Seeking Films blew us away our wedding film. Jack and Trevor were some of the nicest people ever, and they went above and beyond to make the entire process as smooth as possible. My wife and I are so so happy to have Seekingfilm as our videography! Due to some delay during the wedding, they would have to stay an extra hour longer than what was in the contract. However, they showed no sign of tiredness or weariness, instead, they were happy to do whatever it took to help us! The quality of our wedding video exceeds our expectation, everything was 'spot-on' when we watched our video. We are so fortunate to know them and have them as our videographers.

Both Trevose and Jack were amazing. I am so happy I decided to got with them for our pictures. I live in San Diego and planning a wedding on Maui turned out to be very stressful. I was not able to meet any of my vendors until the day of the wedding. However I had spoken with Jack several times, and he made me feel so at ease. If you're looking for a reliable and professional group of videographers who are consistent in producing high quality work, you don’t have to look any further and hire Seeking Films. Jack and his team captured the essence of our special day and were so easy to work with. They arrived on time and were well-prepared for my disorganization. I planned a destination wedding from across the country and didn’t have the time to discuss anything with Jack (not his fault), but his team somehow captured every special moment of our wedding and more!! Shot after shot, we were in awe at how seamlessly they integrated the natural beauty of our surroundings into our wedding. We were after all in picturesque Hawaii, so the drone shots at our venue were pretty… spectacular - at least, spectacular enough to make our wedding appear perfect. :D For some additional perspective, I’d like to disclose that I watched many, many videos from a dozen or so vendors from Hawaii (plus New York and New Jersey over the years), and many were good but their shots were what I’d consider ‘basic’. Very few have the ability to get those artistic shots and even fewer put a special touch into the editing process. If you look closely at the videos Seeking Films have produced, you’ll notice that every frame is as detailed as a postcard. Anyway, I ultimately chose Seeking Films for a couple of reasons: 1. Jack is reliable and extremely efficient (who has time these days) and 2. the quality for the price of their work met both my taste and budget.

Seeking films is amazing and they produce beautiful work. A friend recommended them to us for our wedding. They were exactly what we were looking for because they do BOTH photography and videography. I loved their same day edit video and short cinema film, they have a different perspective on looking at things, it captures you attention. Their prices are reasonable and actually really affordable for both photo and video and their quality of work. Jack and Trevor are great guys, they're fun, professional, and laid back which I liked because it made you feel relaxed when they're videoing and photographing you. Thus, it shows in your photos and look more natural and fun vs stiff and awkward. They are also very quick in responding to emails, I had a LOT of questions and I sent a LOT of emails, which were all answered thoroughly and professionally. It made planning a wedding a little less stressful. On the wedding day they arrived on time with their team of about 5 people. They worked well with our wedding coordinators. Everything went smoothly and they captured our whole day. I was impressed with the same day edit that they furiously worked to put together in a matter of hours. The quality and the moments they focused on was beautiful it was touching and moving yet fun yet elegant all in one! I absolutely loved it! I recommended them to all my friends for their weddings!!

Words cannot describe how amazing Seeking Films is. These guys are young and talented and they were THE best vendor we selected for our wedding. I first found Seeking Films after a friend used them for her wedding. At that time they were just starting off, but you could tell that their videos were unique and they had an eye for creativity and capturing the feeling of the moment. Watching their other videos, you feel like you are there sharing the moment with people you don't even know. We booked Seeking Films over a year before our wedding and after our first meeting with Jack we knew we selected the right crew. He is professional, laid back, personable, and had great ideas. We really wanted a Same Day Edit video and Jack assured me from the get go that the quality wouldn't be compromised. About 2 weeks before the wedding, Jack reached out to us and suggested taking some shots beforehand to incorporate into the Same Day Edit. These scenes turned out beautifully and were breathtaking in the video. On the day of the wedding, Jack, Trevor, and the rest of the crew hung out with the bridal party all day. I felt like they were part of the gang and really made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. The result was an awesome Same Day Edit video that many of our guests came up to tell us that it was one of the best videos they had ever seen. 5 days later, Seeking Films posted the video on their blog with the addition of more scenes from the reception and it was simply amazing to relive the day again. These guys are true professionals and are producing art and videos like no one else in the business. They are also so easy and comfortable to work with. We are so happy we will have this video that truly captured the feelings and moments of that day to look back on forever.

We got married on Kauai and we live in Colorado and we did not meet Seeking Films until our wedding day. Wow! What a great team! They are so kind! Most often I didn't even know they were in the room. I loved their creativity and Trevor's excitement while taking the photos. We had a video montage made and I was a little reluctant after watching a lot of them with a lot of other photography businesses BUT they exceeded my expectations! I've shared it with family and friends and have received so many complaints on how well it was made. Thank you Trevor, Jack and Lina! I wish we lived closer so they could photograph all of the events in our lives!

Jack, Trevor, and the rest of the Seeking Films team were soo awesome to work with. Before we booked with them, I was obsessed with the quality of their work ..and even more thrilled when I found out they were more affordable than a lot of other photographers that I had inquired with. They shot our engagement pictures which turned out beautifully...and also did the photography/videography on our wedding day. I love their style...everything always felt natural and no weird/awkward poses :) They are 100% professional...extremely responsive...and went above and beyond all my expectations! These guys did a fantastic job with our photographs and video!! What's a bride to do when she's on a budget but yearns for beautiful photos/video of one of the most important days of her life?? Hire these guys! I contacted quite a few potential photogs/videographers (our wedding was in Maui, but I searched for vendors on other islands as well) and Seeking Films was definitely on the affordable end for the level of quality and artistry that I wanted, even after taking into account the reasonable fee for them to travel from Honolulu to Maui. With this team (two photogs, two videographers) you don't have to worry about how your photographers and videographers will work together. Both our photographs and video turned out amazing, and we are not even photogenic people! There are so many special but fleeting moments during a wedding, and they were able to capture so many of them, we were blown away. The company's only been around for a year or so, hence the few reviews, but these guys are extremely talented... better snap them up while they're still affordable!

When I started planning my wedding, I knew I wanted a photographer and a videographer. I looked online for potential businesses. I talked to 2 venders before I found Seeking Films. Third time was a charm! My husband (fiancé at the time) and I met up with them at Starbucks, and I knew they were the ones we were going to be using. Their 5 star reviews were one of the reasons I inquired, as well as their package deals. They were the most reasonably priced packages I seen, but if you view some of their work on the website, you can tell that their work is high quality. Jack and Trevor are laid back and very easy to talk too. I really didn't know what to expect since I have never planned a wedding and it has been awhile since I've been to one. They gave me some ideas for my wedding day, and my husband, being a jokester, wanted to have ninja style pictures. Although he was joking (I hope), they gave him some ideas how they could make it work for pictures. I decided to do whole day photo and video, and also opted for the same day edit video. We did a extra shoot to include in the same day video. They recommended to do it at the Makapu'u Lighthouse area with us and our kids. I have never been there before, but they picked a beautiful spot! They took some video and photos with all of us going down the trail and at the beach. The directions they gave were pretty easy to follow, and were very patient with us when we didn't know what we were doing. The day of my wedding, Jack and Trevor both had an assistant (sorry cant remember their names!). They were never all up in our faces, and was really just in the background. I hardly even noticed they were there taking photo and video! My cousin, who was my makeup/hair artist, commented on how much easier it was to do my hair and makeup just because they were never in the way. Some time during the reception was when the same day edit video was going to be played. Although we had a bit of trouble getting to our reception area, and missed our sunset pics, they actually offered to redo the sunset pics whenever we were available! They did some video shoots at the hotel before we did our grand entrance. When it was played during the reception, I could actually feel how much love me and my husband had for each other and the love we had as a family thru the video. The music they chose with the different video shots they took, AWESOME. Everybody commented on how that was one of their favorite part of the wedding because of how it exuberated our love. Some even said they teared a bit. That is artistry at it's finest. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND using them for your wedding, or for any special occasion you have. I have only gotten my same day edit video so far, which was AMAZING, and I guarantee when I get everything else, it will be no less then perfection.
