publicly. We’ve completed a full review of your claims with our internal logs and multiple on-site professionals. With the exception noted below, these allegations are not supported by the facts or by other vendors who worked the event. 1) Planning, timeline, and day-of confirmations Our office produced a detailed, minute-by-minute itinerary in advance (standard protocol). On the day, our DJ confirmed cues and readiness before key moments. We understand that those check-ins can feel frequent; they are part of delivering the couple’s plan as written. 2) Music selections and “must-plays” We reviewed our playback logs and emails against your playlists. The DJ pulled exclusively from your lists all night, he did not deviate, he did not take requests, or add any of his own flair. This includes your playlist and the “make sure we’re on the floor” tracks. Prior to the wedding, we discussed, and you acknowledged in writing, that your combined playlists contained 613 songs (over 24 hours of music) for a 6-hour reception, and that it would be impossible to play everything. You also flagged 2+ hours of “couple on the floor” songs; which we were clear we could not locate and escort you back to the floor for each one. Expectations were set in advance and documented. 3) Father’s speech and music cue Our team’s sound check was clean, and this speech as well as the 5 additional speeches were audible without issue. The father’s backing track was to be cued by him after his remarks; that cue did not occur. After the toast, the DJ checked in directly with him and, at the father’s request, introduced and played a shortened portion of the song. That sequence aligns with the DJ’s notes and with other vendors’ recollections. 4) Surprise mother–daughter dance (our miss) We did download the wrong version of that track. That error originated in our office prep (not the DJ on site), and we sincerely apologized. Other professionals present did not observe the scene described (guests unable to hear; bride “crying in embarrassment”), but the version mislabel is on us, and we regret it. 5) Announcements, guestbook, cake/sparkler notices Multiple on-site vendors reported no issues understanding announcements and confirmed the timeline items occurred as pre-planned. If something sounded off in the moment, a quick word to the DJ would have allowed us to adjust EQ/mic gain immediately. No such concerns were raised to our team, the venue, planner or any other professional during the event. 6) “B-team DJ” / cost-based service level That assertion is incorrect. Your DJ is a senior member of our staff and appears on our public “Meet the Crew” page. We do not tier service by a couple’s budget. Suggesting otherwise is inaccurate and unfair to the professional who worked your event. 7) Independent verification Following your email, we spoke with multiple vendors who were present. None corroborated the sweeping “catastrophe” described; several noted the opposite, that cues landed on time and coordination, was solid. You objected to us verifying with on-site professionals, but that is standard due diligence when a public allegation is made. We’re not claiming perfection—when we make a mistake (e.g., the mother–daughter version), we own it. But the broad narrative here does not align with our logs or third-party witnesses. It’s also notable that no day-of corrections were requested from the DJ despite the numerous interactions that you noted, something any professional would expect if the sound was “unintelligible” or key moments were “ruined.” We remain available to review the factual record with you directly. In the meantime, we stand by the professionalism of our team and the work performed at your reception.
