Chef Ryan and Brenda, who managed our account, were unbelievable! Their staff on the day of and all of their coordination the day of was flawless. The wait staff was professional and so friendly. They got everything our guests needed and my wife and I never once had to ask for anything....it was ready to go before anyone needed to ask. Before the wedding Brenda and Chef Ryan were very involved. We had a great tasting and they both came all the way to Martinez from Santa Clara to see the property we were getting married at. Brenda was wonderful and made sure to get all of our pricing correct and also negotiated with the rental company to get matched prices. She understood our vision for our reception and our ceremony and helped make sure that all items rented were perfect. Chef Ryan came up a second time to the property with his wife Stacey. Because my mother is an avid gardener and we got married on my family ranch, Chef Ryan and Stacey picked 120+ pounds of fresh produce from my mother's garden so that the vegetables could be incorporated into all of the vegetable dishes. It made the food even more sentimental and tasty. Across the board, the food was amazing and it was clear that Chef Ryan takes a lot of pride in his food. His excitement and love for cooking is clear in how he discusses the menu and dishes. Many of our guests asked where we found Handheld and asked us for contact information for future events. Everyone LOVED the food from beginning to end. We could not have asked for a better experience with Handheld Catering. They truly live up to their name. Thank you Ryan and Brenda!!
