Serious working Professional Portrait Photographers, family-owned storefront studio in Fargo-Moorhead area since 1977. James 'Jim' Haney began photographing weddings, families, senior portraits, commercial and business photography, bands, school pictures and special events in June, 1977, in the Brookdale Shopping Center in Moorhead MN. Twin sons Gabe and Greg starting working on weddings at an early age. Thousands of satisfied customers since that time enthusiastically endorse their work and the slogan 'Haneys Make YOU Look Great!' rings true today as it has done the past 44 years. Years of studying art and drawing and painting make the difference. Superb expressions, spontaneity, perspective, composition, lighting, color balance -and timing- are the great features at Haney's. Haney's have provided the original models for many wannabe appleknocker photographers to try to copy- but they just don't know our proprietary family secrets. Haney's have photographed OVER 2,500 weddings in that 44 year timespan. The 'Decisive Moment' -that brief instant- when the person being photographed sees the image created of them by Haney's for the first time and say to themselves 'That is me, when I look my very best!' has always been the goal of Haney's. There is nothing so beautiful in this world as a lovely Bride -walking down the aisle on her wedding day- to join with her handsome Groom, at the beginning of this new stage of their lives together.
