We utilized the lodge as our wedding venue! This was an amazing experience! The grounds are beautiful and just perfect for anyone wanting the “western” feel. The lodge was big enough for our wedding party to stay in. It was also so perfect to g...
et ready in! Everyone that was part of our special day felt “at home” while getting ready. We utilized the LARGE patio as our dance floor. We were able to set the chairs all around the perimeter of the patio so those who didn’t want to dance could still feel included. The is a gorgeous barn on the grounds which would make an absolutely dream wedding reception location inside, but it’s set up to house horses. There is also an indoor arena that could probably work for a reception location, but I didn’t have the imagination or patience to make it perfect. We just held everything outdoors. This place was absolutely perfect for us and we talk about it often!
Positives: they have just about everything you need for a kitchen, two refrigerators and a deep freeze. They have two smokers available for use. The bar/game room/ entertainment space was awesome! The guys really enjoyed getting ready here. The views were breathtaking, especially the sunset.
A couple of negatives: the flies were terrible, but it’s a working ranch, it comes with the territory. The grass was THICK which made it difficult to walk into, BUT it was such a beautiful green. There’s not a whole lot of parking options within close proximity, our guests had to park behind a Quonset and walk a ways.
