A photographer was one of the most important vendors to me and we asked Hannah for A LOT on our day - a few locations with the wedding party, a bar, smoke bombs, and a champagne spray at night - not only did she take all of this in stride, but she offered suggestions and inspiration to our ideas, delivered some incredible pictures in the end AND delivered photos in film! The ease and professionalism Hannah brought to the wedding day was refreshing. It truly felt like working with a friend who genuinely cares about your special day. While the artsy, abstract photos are my personal favorite, our family and friends cannot stop raving about the candid images she and her 2nd shooter (we had Jake on our wedding day) got throughout the day. She also remembered and made time for the smallest requests I had during our planning call: pics of my friends and I jamming around the piano and architecture shots. We spoke over Zoom and felt immediately comfortable with her — she has such a calming presence, made us feel like we had been friends forever, and assured us that she would help our vision come to life. We didn’t have much photography knowledge — we knew we wanted to take some shots in a nature setting like a park, and that we wanted someone who could capture color, as our venue had a specific aesthetic with green and blue walls. Hanna provided the most wonderful guidance for our photos and our day — she scouted many locations around our venue for our wedding portraits, taking into account the proximity and the nature setting we wanted. When we picked one, Hanna went to the spot the week before at the exact time we’d be there, so she would know the specific lighting and locations that would best fit. She also, months in advance, made a timeline for us to help guide the day and ensure that we had a schedule to keep everything on track. This was SO helpful and made the day so much smoother. On the day of our wedding, Hanna couldn’t have been more magnificent. She made us feel so at ease, which was paramount on a day that had so many heightened emotions. We aren’t used to working with professional photographers and were initially nervous that we would feel awkward, but Hanna truly made us feel so calm, comfortable, and joyous. She made the entire experience SO fun, and multiple of our wedding guests commented on how kind she was to them. Now the photos…the PHOTOS. Within a week of our wedding Hanna sent us our sneak peeks — about 160 of them, which is far beyond what we expected. They are stunning. Truly, stunning. She has sent us a gorgeous mix of color, black and white, and film. Our wedding day felt like such a whirlwind and Hanna captured all the emotions and all the moments in ways that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. I can’t look at them without being transported back to that day and the specific happenings — from our first look to our first dance — and feeling so overcome with happiness. I can’t choose a favorite because they are all stunning (and all our friends and family keep telling us with how much they love our photos). I’m especially appreciative of Hanna scouting a spot right near our getting ready spot that we hadn’t seen before that looks like a forest, and having us pose there for truly magical pictures. We also have some night shots and some photos from the bar area at our venue that look so editorial and glamorous that I can’t believe it’s us. Trust me, work with Hanna and follow her guidance. She leads with thoughtfulness and intention and it shows. You will get to know a terrifically talented and kind person and your wedding photos will not only be aesthetically marvelous, but you will feel like you get to relive your wedding day every time you look at them. She had such amazing knowledge and suggestions on locations for the engagement shoot and for the wedding photos. I am terrible with places and just described the overall vibes I wanted and she picked the PERFECT places. You book things so early on in the process and Hanna was great about checking in, always letting me know she was there, and making sure that we would have the best day. We worked together to draft the perfect list of photos I wanted, she made sure every single one got done, and made it fun. I cannot stop grinning at my phone just constantly scrolling through all of the pictures. She captured every single ounce of joy that day and made David and I look so much cooler than we actually are, I swear. She can document your day in so many styles- I love having artsy photos, photos with different filters to make cool effects, film, photojournalism style, you name it she can do it for you! She provided an insane number of photos and we have at least 20+ favorites so the value of her services and fees is top notch. Everyone I show the photos to is in awe!! Hanna was definitely one of the best choices we made for our wedding. She went above and beyond our hopes.

I had to reschedule our original date, as I needed to get last minute surgery & Hanna was so accommodating and completely understood. We quickly rescheduled & had the BEST shoot ever. Hanna did photos for our engagement shoot, cultural event, and wedding day all of which turned out better than we could have hoped. She was open to trying a new location for our engagement shoot and helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She regularly answered my questions and was on it when it came to getting our list of portraits together which was extremely long when I first drafted it. She explained why cutting it down could be helpful but never pressured me into making changes I didn't feel comfortable with. The day of of the wedding, Hanna was more than a photographer. She helped get me into my dress when there was a wardrobe malfunction and did nothing that added stress to the day. When my husband and I felt overwhelmed with photos, she convinced us to take sunset photos which was THE BEST thing ever. We would have regretted it so much if we did not have these photos. She also kept our timeline running smoothly and reassured me that we were not behind when the wedding jitters started to take over. Every time we open our wedding photos, it brings us to tears. Hanna captured every moment and every emotion, truly giving us everything we could have hoped for. Not only is Hanna an amazingly gifted photographer with a gifted eye, a wonderful human being through and through, but also supremely organized and will help guide you through your wedding day from the moment you hire her. It was with Hanna that we first thought about our timeline, when things should happen, and how we could possibly get the shots we wanted. It was so easy to trust Hanna and know that she is an ultimate pro. We learned early from our engagement session with her that she not only could quickly make us feel at ease while shooting but also was taking these incredible shots neither one of us would have thought of or considered. Day of, Hanna and her 2nd photographer (shoutout to Jake!!) helped us coordinate with shuttle buses that were crazy late, somehow handled my massive constantly-talking Irish family for a group picture, AND were able to handle all of our wedding photo ops on the fly with wild weather all day. She made us feel and made us look like movie stars all day. I'll never forget as we were walking down the aisle freshly married, I somehow caught Hanna saying "Quick! Kiss!", and she got a photo of us that is probably one of my favorite shots of the day. As you can see, Anne and myself could go on and on about how awesome Hanna is---because she is simply just that awesome. You NEED to book Hanna stat, and you will never regret it. We are still getting compliments about how amazing our photos are and I think we'll forever be so grateful to Hanna for capturing the best day of our lives so beautifully.

hroughout 2 years of COVID reschedules and last minute changes and was so incredibly gracious, thoughtful, and kind in every interaction we had—even checking in with us throughout the rescheduling process just to make sure we were doing okay. It's evident how much she cares about her clients and that definitely shines through in her work! Photography was probably the most important vendor choice for me and I can't even begin to express how incredible working with Hanna was. My husband and I were worried about feeling/looking awkward and she made us feel so incredibly comfortable in front of the lens. She captured all the different aspects and small details of the day exactly how I imagined and even came to my rescue when I needed tape to stop my shape wear from rolling down! Working with Hanna is hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding celebration and I would recommend her a billion times over! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Literally every email I got from her actually made me more excited for our wedding (if that was even possible)! What really sold us on her from the get go was that she was super informed and had a lot of experience. The lighting at our venue was a little different as the ballroom was dimly lit, but had a light-up dancefloor that added light. Hanna knew exactly what lighting photography wise we would need so the pictures would turn out great and no other photographer mentioned this to us. Our engagement shoot was in the summer of 2020 right when some covid restrictions were easing, but not many, and she knew where we could/could not shoot, what would be best photo wise and helped us make decisions that was such a huge help! Doing the engagement shoot was awesome because 1) my now husband and I got more comfortable together in front of a camera 2) it gave us a chance to get to know Hanna and her style, which made wedding day all the more easy and breezy! On wedding day Hanna was awesome! She had already provided us with a timeline beforehand so I knew what she would be shooting and what to plan while getting ready and throughout the day. She was super helpful and direct to all friends and family while we were shooting so that we could get all the shots we wanted! Her second photographer, Kate, was great too! Both of them seemed super in sync and were able to work off each other. We've received our sneak peeks to our wedding photos at this point and WOW we love them. The moments Hanna was able to capture in just these sneak peeks was amazing. The photos take us right back to our wedding day and we can relive those moments over and over again. My husband and I love them and cannot WAIT to see all our photos. You won't go wrong by choosing Hanna to be your photographer. If you want someone professional, positive, just as excited for your wedding as you, and super passionate about their job at your wedding Hanna is the one for you!

e pandemic, but Hanna handled the unknown and rescheduling with grace and kindness. She was so supportive and always responded in a timely manner. We also felt very comfortable with her even though we weren’t used to being in front of a camera. Sometimes people say the pictures don’t do it justice, but seeing the photos - it was better than we remembered it. We felt like we were able relive the whole day all over again, not just the highlights, but all the details, even the ones we missed. She completely got us and the style and mood we were looking for. Needless to say, ALL of our photos came out incredible. Seriously, Hanna can make a seemingly plain wall the best backdrop you could imagine. Even our friends and family couldn’t believe the photos were from the same venue or that we were just in small park next to the parking lot! We’re so grateful she was our photographer and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone. pher. First and foremost, her photos are incredible  (we have gotten so many compliments on our photos and many questions about the photographer we used from friends that are engaged). We fall in love with our album every time we open it up, and it’s like reliving our favorite day ever. She was truly able to capture all of the emotions of the day and we cannot thank her enough for that! In addition to that she's just overall amazing to work with. Not only was she super professional and timely (both in her responses during planning and the day of) but was so easy to work with! Having her with us on our wedding day felt more like a friend hanging out with us which definitely helped us feel way more relaxed in front of the camera. She also had great ideas for every photo session, including potential locations, and spotting great shots once we were there and our pictures turned out amazing (can you tell we loved our pictures?!?!). She helped us every step of the way and was great at managing our large wedding party (20+). She kept us on time and focused, while also keeping everyone excited and smiling. She was corralling everyone into our numerous photo combinations while also maintaining a super fun vibe which is definitely not an easy thing to do. Not to mention she was great at dealing with our families throughout the day as well. She coached us throughout the day, making sure we ate our food, tried our desserts, and had plenty of time on the dance floor. Finally, she’s prepared and organized. She spent a lot of time working with us on our schedule for the day, including helping us pick locations. If something was unrealistic, she was not afraid to let us know or explain that we would have to compromise elsewhere. She was so much more than a photographer and we feel so lucky and thankful to have had her as part of our big day. nd of course her professionalism. I am not going to lie that I sort of made Hanna in charge with the time line and she made sure everything ran as smooth as possible. Her boyfriend Jake was the second shooter at our wedding and he is one of the nicest people we’ve met not to mention that of course he and Hanna just work so well together. Some of the shots we got from our sneak peek are absolutely unreal with the artistic nature of how Hanna used the light and rain and I literally show them to everyone I know. Of course have to touch on our engagement shoot as well which was also a ton of fun with some really cute GIFs. Did I mention, Hanna is the BEST ?

Hanna brought a 2nd photographer, Sam, and words cannot describe how fabulous they both are. Can I just say how they RALLIED the boys and were just so on top of it from start until finish. They commanded the room during family shots which I appreciated. I will never forget the amazing pep talk Sam gave me while waiting to walk down the aisle. In addition, she came to my rescue when my dress got caught on the stairs. If you are looking for a photographer to shoot your wedding day that will not only shoot amazing photos but also be your anchor for majority of the wedding, this is the photographer that you NEED!

Hanna helped walk us through the different parts of the day and made sure to note what parts were most important to us. She helped us update our day of schedule and even gave us tips on the list of family photos we wanted pre-ceremony. On the actual day of our wedding, Hanna met with the Bridal Party while Jake took care of the Groom and Groomsmen, both capturing excellent pictures! We all met up at one of the destinations Hanna had suggested (which was beautiful) in Chicago for the first look which turned out better than we could have ever imagined! After the first look, we had planned a couple spots around the city to take more wedding party pictures (again all suggested by Hanna that we loved) but it started to rain so we had to make some adjustments. Already, she had ideas in mind of where we could go that were covered and we’re almost glad it did rain because the pictures from the alternate spot we went to were incredible! The entire day was perfect and it was largely because Hanna and her team were awesome getting from place to place and ensuring we kept on schedule. There’s so much going on during the big day and everyone is trying to get your attention that it’s easy to forget the important things you wanted captured, but Hanna make sure to real you back in and get the moments recorded so there’s no regrets come the next day! e artist - she has such an eye for lighting, angles, backgrounds, poses....and her expertise shows through her photos which are absolutely stunning. On top of being an amazing photographer, Hanna brought so much expertise to our wedding day - from helping to put together our timeline, providing recommendations and honest feedback on photo locations, to communicating with our other vendors - she was honestly just as much "day of coordinator" as photographer and she played a HUGE role in our day running smoothly. She was also great to work with during two Covid reschedules and was always so positive and uplifting. No one really talks about how your wedding photographer is going to be there in some of your most intimate and important moments (getting in your dress, first look, etc) - you really want to find someone who you are going to vibe with and who is going to bring the right energy to your day and I couldn't imagine anyone better than Hanna. She managed to hype me up while also calming me down and helped contribute to the day being so much fun. The photos actually left me speechless and I am so, so happy that we get to remember our wedding day through Hanna's incredible work for the rest of our lives. She is incredibly talented, and captured our day in the exact way I remember it- dreamy and full of love. Working with her was fun, stress-free, organized, and natural. But most importantly, fun! 8 hours of coverage (+ a second photographer) for our wedding day. Hanna is the sweetest human ever and she produces the most amazing photos! We knew pictures were one of our priorities for the wedding day and we were willing to invest whatever amount to have a high quality photographer. Hanna is definitely worth the investment! My husband and I have a history of never taking pictures so we weren't the most comfortable in front of the camera. But Hanna made our engagement picture session a literal blast! We laughed the entire time and it was seriously the perfect opportunity to connect and celebrate each other during a stressful time. We were lucky the weather was perfect and the leaves were beginning to change, but because of Hanna's artistic eye and skills, we got the most BEAUTIFUL engagement photos. Leading up to our wedding day, Hanna met with me and our wedding coordinator to discuss a day-of schedule and consider some of our wants and needs. Hanna also shares a day-of planning form to ensure she meets all of your requests and later reviews the info with you to make sure everyone is on the same page for the wedding day. We appreciated Hanna's advice and honesty during the planning process. We also appreciated that her focus was on our wants and needs and photographing our day, not on our family members wants and needs (which didn't always align with ours). The day of the wedding, Hanna arrived early and came prepared with umbrellas, a rain jacket to go under the train in muddy areas, and even scissors, which came in handy. Hanna was very organized and made sure to get all of our requested photos in an efficient manner while also encouraging us to have fun. Unfortunately, it rained lightly for the majority of our bridal party photography time. However, the rain allowed for cooler temperatures and amazing lighting. Again, Hanna came through with BEAUTIFUL photos of our wedding day. We've only seen our sneak peeks (which were shared within a week of our wedding), but we can't stop looking at the pictures and everyone we've shared the pictures with only have amazing things to say. Hanna is fantastic and truly does whatever she can to make sure her clients have an amazing day and even better pictures. We can't wait to see the rest of our pictures and get an album from Hanna.

She always makes sure to scout the location before the shoot and comes with backup plans if the weather does not cooperate. We took pictures by the Nature Boardwalk at Lincoln Park Zoo and North Avenue beach in August 2020, and Hanna had the expertise to know what exact time to get the perfect lighting and sunset images! Hanna allowed us to be ourselves and bring our personalities into the photos rather than telling us exactly how we should act. We had such a blast walking around Chicago with Hanna; we never felt awkward, and she made sure to get the right candid moments! When our family and friends saw the first set of images they were in AWE! During our wedding day this past August, she went above and beyond to get the most SPECTACULAR shots! We praise her creativity using different lenses and angles to get the most out of us and the space- she truly has a natural eye for these things! With no disrespect to any other photographers out there, Hanna’s pictures have been hands down the BEST wedding photos we have seen and we continue to get that sentiment from all of our friends and family! She also created the cutest Tik Tok video of our wedding that was such a lovely surprise posted the next day! We have been drooling all over these pictures since the moment we saw the gallery of sneak peaks! My mom even wants to book Hanna in advance 3-4 years once my sister finds her husband-to-be!

We got the sneak peeks shortly after and they were amazing! Many of our friends and family have commented on how beautiful all the pictures are. Weddings, especially during COVID, are stressful. make all year. You don't need me to tell you how talented Hanna is - if you have eyes you can see for yourself. I always tell her she's a wizard, there's just no other explanation for her work. What I will tell you is what a great person Hanna is. Maybe for some people it doesn't matter what your wedding vendors are like personality wise, but to me it's everything. I cannot be my truest, happiest self if I'm not surrounded by kind, warm-hearted people. The energy Hanna brings is unmatched. My now-husband and I came across Hanna's work while perusing the Knot for Chicago photographers. Photograph after photograph, I kept falling more and more in love with her work. There's a long, wild story which brought us to hiring Hanna but I'll just keep it short and say, it was divine intervention. We opted for a package where Hanna shot our engagement pics as well as wedding day pics. My husband and I aren't very comfortable in front of the camera so it made sense to us to stick with the same photographer for both so we could become more comfortable - Hanna made every single moment feel like the most normal thing in the world. For example - We stood on a table at a very crowded rooftop bar for a skyline pic and something about Hanna's confidence made it seem absolutely fine when normally we'd feel extremely weird & panicked. ANYWAYS - You should know that Hanna is incredibly friendly and professional. She sends a questionnaire a couple weeks out and you get to fill her in on what types of photos are most important to you. She will organize group photos and family photos so you don't have to stress about remembering to take them. Hanna is such a great coach - she helped our entire wedding party and immediate family feel relaxed and really helped to capture our genuine smiles. I could go on for days about what she brought to our wedding day, and even the months leading up to it, but if there's one thing you take away, please know that she's got you covered. I truly enjoyed my day knowing Hanna and her second shooter, Jake, were capturing the most important moments in my life. Hanna sent us our sneak peek photos not even 24 hours after the wedding, I was SHOCKED!!! And our full edited album came only 5 weeks following the wedding. Hundreds and hundreds of beautiful pictures from the sweetest day of our lives. The way she captured everything felt like we were reliving it all over again. Which is exactly why we went with Hanna in the first place. <3

My husband HATES his picture being taken and he cannot stop raving about the photos we’ve received so far and how comfortable he felt with Hanna photographing him. That is HUGE! On a separate note, I was running late to the church and I was very stressed and high strung (having a real bride moment). When I called to let her know, she was just such a calming and understanding presence. Her positive attitude changed my entire mood, and I felt so much better after speaking with her. She went above and beyond with our engagement session and our photos turned out INCREDIBLE - which is saying a lot because my fiance does NOT enjoy being in front of the camera :) She was able to capture the essence of who we are as a couple. The pictures showed real and raw personalities - no forced or awkward shots. I recommend Hanna to ALL of my recently engaged friends and I can't wait to work with her again on my wedding day as well as future family shots one day :)

s, but also how much experience she has.  For both our engagement photos and wedding photos, we threw around some location ideas, and in return she sent us various photos of shoots she's done with previous couples.  Having those reference pictures gave us so many great ideas on location, setting, time of day, etc., and helped our vision come to life. While we ended up having a small Covid-sized wedding, all of our guests at some point during the day complimented us on how wonderful Hanna was.  We were so impressed with her attention to so many little details that we never would have thought of, such as tucking a suit jacket behind your hand or taking a hair tie off so that it doesn't indent your wrist - all of these little things helped our pictures turn out perfectly.  It was very obvious that she has a natural eye for photography.   Hanna truly made us feel so incredibly comfortable throughout the whole process.  She was so personable and lovely to work with.  It felt like she was one of our friends who was there not only to capture the moments, but also to celebrate with us.  We would recommend her to anyone and everyone, and without a doubt use her for any of our future photography needs.
