About this vendor
I love working with fun, laid back, couples that like to do things a little non-traditional. If wedding photography is something that is immensely important to you, know that the photos I take on your special day will be cherished for years to come. I focus on capturing the emotion of the day in the small moments you will share as bride and groom. It will bring happy tears to your eyes as you relive your day through your photos, and fill your hearts with love all over again. I flirt with the line between business connection and genuine friendship, to ensure that your day is fun and stress free. My goal is to create a fun experience as well as pretty photos, make you feel uplifted and energized, and always always capture your love and the moments that make your heart skip a beat.

Working alongside Hannah Ampe Photo as the wedding coordinator was an absolute blast! Her attention to detail is next level – every magical moment was beautifully captured. Not onl...
y was she on the dot with timing, but her super fun and energetic vibe also brought an awesome spark to the day!
Hannah was the best and most calming energy on our wedding day! Our photos came back and we had so many we loved it was near impossible to pick which ones to print/frame! She did a...
great job of coordinating the family and wedding party photos so they were quick and painless for all involved, and the pics came out beautifully. Worth every penny.
Hannah was amazing to work with! She is incredibly easygoing, organized, patient, and so very kind. She made an hour of engagement photos and a day of wedding photos fun and easy. ...
Throughout the time we worked with her, she kept in contact regularly and checked in with what we wanted for our photos. She was very organized both before and during our wedding, which made the wedding photos incredibly efficient. She and Peter also went above and beyond helping me assemble flowers onto my wedding arch. My husband and I could not be happier with our photos, and we hope to work with Hannah again in the future!
Hannah and her team were amazing!! We decided to use Olivia as an associate photographer for our engagement and wedding photos and she was so easy to work with. She captured our da...
y perfectly and I am so happy with the photos! They got so many detailed photos and knew exactly how to pose everyone. Very patient with the boys (still sorry about that lol) and kept the day running smoothly. I had an odd request of leaving the venue to get a few photos after the ceremony and Olivia was so kind and made sure to keep the day moving but without rushing us. I’ve gotten so many compliments on our photos and am so happy to share who did them. One of the best vendor decision we made!! Highly recommend!!
Hannah Ampe Photography was the best investment we made for our wedding! From the beginning, it was easy to work with Hannah- her website is gorgeous, easy to navigate and she is v...
ery responsive, professional and organized. As I was narrowing down photographers, I was so drawn to Hannah's gorgeous photos over and over. And then after speaking to her on the phone and getting to know her- she is so sweet and funny- we knew she was the photographer for us. We easily scheduled our engagement session with her and she was willing to travel to the destination I had been dreaming of taking our pictures at. We had so much fun with Hannah at our engagement session, she directed us in a very natural and easy way and my husband and I left the session saying "that was so fun!" It was also only 30 degrees outside in northern Minnesota and we didn't even notice the cold! Hannah provided sneak peak photos just a few days later and we were in LOVE! And not long after that, she delivered the whole session and we knew we made the best decision for our photographer. This made us even more excited to have her there on our wedding day. Between the engagement session and wedding, Hannah was quick to respond to any of my questions and worked through our wedding day timeline with me as I changed it multiple times. For our wedding day, Hannah chose an awesome second photographer and we had so much fun with them throughout the day! Hannah made sure that she got plenty of photos of the shots that I requested and after the wedding, we received sneak peaks the next morning and they were absolutely stunning! It was so tough waiting for the whole album as we loved the sneak peaks and we ended up receiving it earlier than estimated! We received a great amount of photos and we are so in love with them. Hannah truly captured who we are and made it easy to do so on the wedding day. They are better than we ever dreamed of! Still not over them! We are so thankful we chose Hannah and know we made the best investment for our wedding day! I highly recommend Hannah Ampe Photography to anyone seeking the best experience all around and photos you will absolutely fall in love with!
Hannah did our wedding photography as well as wedding florals(through her second company - Minne Floral Co.)! She was incredible on both fronts. The photos are absolutely gorgeous ...
and she captured so much of the day. I was so happy to get them back (a short 3.5 weeks from the wedding!) because it helped me and my husband relive the day again. We will cherish these forever. Hannah is friendly, professional, and extremely talented. I will be recommending her for any friends weddings in the future, and I highly recommend her to you as well. ♥️♥️
Hannah was so amazing to work with for our wedding. We did both our engagement and wedding photos with Hannah and they turned out beautiful. My Husband and I have gotten an unbeli...
evable amount of compliments on the photos. We also chose a package that included a photo book. This turn out better then a I could have imagined (or done on my own)! The photos and the book are things we will truly cherish! Hannah was always available to answer questions and offered to be flexible due to COVID. Both Hannah and her second shooter were so easy to work with. They provided great direction in a way that felt natural. Hannah was very organized throughout the wedding day and had us prepare a list of photos that we wanted to have. On the wedding day you will never remember all your must have photos, but since she has the list it isn't a problem. We had such a great experience with Hannah and hope to use her in the future for other exciting life milestones.

nd our style. Including photographing our dog, who is a big part of our family! Her easy going and hilarious personality made it feel as though a friend was photographing us, which helped ease the awkwardness of getting your pictures taken. Hannah got down in the snow, leaves, and mud to make our outdoor photos perfection. I can not recommend her enough.
Hannah has been such a blessing to work with. She came to Seattle to take our engagement photos and, with COVID happening, she was flexible with still capturing our small ceremony ...
this year while also planning to photograph our (rescheduled) reception next year! She has such a laid back personality that it makes taking pictures fun and enjoyable... especially because my husband and I do not know what we're doing when it comes to posing haha. She also works super well with dogs as my husband's only request through all this planning was that our dog would be in the wedding. Hannah's work is AMAZING, and she was SO FAST with getting all of our photos to us! We cannot wait to continue to work with her next year!
Hannah captured the most beautiful day of our lives! She worked with us ahead of time to determine what we wanted to focus on during the day so she made sure to capture our most sp...
ecial moments. She was extremely prompt and thoughtful in her responses to email and text. She made us feel very relaxed during our engagement session and on our wedding day. Because I don't have much experience posing, I asked Hannah to help us out. She was bubbling with ideas for us- now spin, put your arms in Titanic, look at each other this way, now twirl. I was nervous that I "wouldn't know what to do" and Hannah made me feel so relaxed and confident. Our photos were ready SO FAST and in an easy to download and share format. Every single picture is beautifully lit and captures the iconic moments (our big kiss) as well as some behind the scenes- my grandparents holding hands and an adorable baby grin- things I wouldn't have known to ask for but Hannah saw were also important. She made me feel gorgeous and I want to frame everyone of our wedding pictures!! I cannot give Hannah enough stars to do her justice! She is AMAZING!!!!
Hannah and Sydney have been the best to work with especially during COVID. We had to reschedule our April wedding to August and Hannah was supportive, creative and very responsive ...
during this time. Our wedding photos are beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We specifically wanted a photographer that captured moments artistically and not photos that were awkward and posed. Hannah and Sydney did a great job “coaching” us and were so sweet and thoughtful the day of! I can’t wait to work with them in the future!

ed Hannah’s work and who she was as a person, I’ve known her since middle school so it was extra special to have someone I knew there to shoot our special day + our engagement photos. She was so easy to work with, quick to respond, and her and her associate Sydney caught ALL amazing photos, there’s not one I wouldn’t blow up and print! We’re forever grateful for Hannah and her amazing work!

e and beyond any expectations I had for these special moments. She puts so much care into the couples she is shooting and truly captures the happiness in every picture. Hannah and her husband work perfectly together. Her husband, Peter, was so kind and helpful on our wedding day, making sure Hannah was able to perform at her total best. I have been told by anyone who has seen our wedding photos that they are some of the best they have seen and I reply it is all because of the quality and care of the photographer. I highly recommend Hannah Ampe Photography! Thank you Hannah for capturing our perfect day.

delivered. She was totally on top of things and very responsive throughout the process. Taking pictures with her felt super natural and she really captured all the elements of our day--when we got the pictures back I was really pleasantly surprised to see some great detail shots that I would never have even thought to ask for. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

ish! Going into it, we weren't super comfortable taking photos of ourselves, but her personality and skills helped relax us and made it so fun!! Her planning form helped our wedding day run smoothly and she was able to capture everything we had hoped she would and more! The tone of her photos is one big reason we chose her, and our photos turned out just as we hoped they would! We had many complements on the photos and also complements from our wedding party that said they had a lot of fun with her the day of! Even after the wedding day she continued to have great communication and went above and beyond to make sure the photos turned out how we wanted them. We would highly recommend Hannah and feel so fortunate to have had her capture our special day!

s to have some genuine fun! It showed in our photos. They are something we will cherish forever. We used her for both our wedding and our engagement photos and plan to use her for other major life events along the way!
She truly cares about you, your soon-to-be spouse, and what's important to you. We are both so awkward in front of a camera and she made us feel right at home.

d about making our day very special and memorable and she put in even more time and work than we could have asked for! Her husband Peter was also a great help at our wedding. Between carrying my bouquet and accessories to helping position people in photos, he was a great addition to have at our wedding! Overall, my husband and I are very pleased with our photos and would recommend Hannah Ampe Photography to anyone looking for an awesome wedding photography experience in Minnesota or Iowa!!

e us some ideas and we ended up having some of that most unique and beautiful water photos. When we decided to completely change our wedding (date and all), she was super flexible and understanding. The week before our wedding, I emailed her freaking out because everything was to be outdoors and (shocking) it was going to rain. Hannah came up with great alternatives and brought some super cute clear umbrellas to spice up our photos. She's professional, sweet, talented and above all a very kind person. Thank you for everything! We will hike up a mountain soon... maybe 1st year anniversary pics? 😉

Hannah.
Hannah is sweet, kind hearted, and so personable. From the first email, to phone chats, to our engagement shoot and wedding, Hannah has been nothing short of punctual, professional, and pleasant to work with. She really wanted to get to know us as a couple, and our visions for the wedding. She was flexible when we had timeline changes, and always in a bubbly mood (which calmed my wedding day nerves). She is amazing at what she does, and have such admiration for her work. We are so so so in love with our engagement photos, and cannot wait to see the rest of our wedding shots! Choose Hannah for your photography and you will not regret it.
I cannot say it enough, Hannah— thank you, thank you, thank you!

videotape my wedding day because she did one of my good friend's weddings and she did an AMAZING job! I almost did not go with a videographer at all because they are sooooo expensive but, Hannah is very reasonable and has great price options for all brides. I just got married in December so I have not received my full video yet but, less then a week after our big day she gave us an amazing sneak peek that I have probable watched 10 times already! She captured so many important details in just under 4 minutes, I can't wait to see what she will accomplish with our whole video! I would absolutely recommend any bride to Hannah, she is a gem to work with, so professional and so talented!
