Although we know that many small businesses are suffering due to COVID-19 at the moment, we kindly asked Hannah for a refund for our Engagement Photography Session deposit because my position was terminated due to COVID-19. I'm currently unemployed for the foreseeable future due to the pandemic, and was hoping I would be able to get at least some of my deposit money back as a gesture of kindness during this time. My fiance and I really need that deposit money to be able to make rent next month and I was honestly hurt that Hannah would not even consider a refund of our deposit. I thought based on her excellent reviews that she would have some compassion during this time, but I was wrong. I urge others to use caution.

We are a local Jackson couple that scoured all the local options before deciding on Hannah. We really loved her style and aesthetic and the price was right! Can't beat that. We wanted to have our wedding outside to experience the beautiful place we call home. Just one problem, we did it in January when the temps were in the negatives. That didn't deter Hannah one bit. She came prepared to shoot in the freezing conditions with a great attitude and worked quickly with the wedding party and family to get beautiful winter shots quickly so every one didn't have to wait around freezing in the cold. We highly recommend Hannah to capture the joy of your wedding day that gives you all the feels, but also captures all those unique moments you never see. Thanks again Hannah! Josh + Kjera

My family and I can't say enough about how wonderful Hannah is. Her work is absolutely beautiful and natural, and her approach and demeanor makes us all feel so comfortable. Hannah traveled to Napa, CA to shoot our wedding in 2015, and she had an instant read on the space, the light, and all the various personalities. My husband and I are a bit awkward in front of a camera, and she really has the nicest way of making us feel comfortable and not cheesy. She had to organize very large family photos as well, and she was able to get everyone where they needed to be in such a graceful and calm way. It made the whole experience fun and stress-free. She executes a vision without being intrusive and lets the real experience unfold. The results were amazing. From people who are a bit camera shy, we found choosing photos so difficult because we loved them all. She captured the feeling of the day so perfectly, had gorgeous detailed images and stunning backdrops, and made us look our best and still 100% ourselves. The end product of our album, fine art quality prints, and more are things we'll cherish forever. We have since worked with Hannah on portrait sessions for our growing family, and we hope she'll be our family photographer for years to come. An added note that Hannah is amazing at not only wrangling adults but kids as well, pulling out their natural smiles and laughs to capture these perfect moments. Hannah makes the experience so enjoyable with the most beautiful photographs to treasure - I couldn't ask for more.

We had the BEST experience with Hannah. She was so professional and easy to work with from the very beginning. Her communication was excellent, which was a must for us as we had a destination wedding in Jackson Hole. Hannah’s work started immediately when we decided to work together, and she was very organized, transparent, and thoughtful. On our wedding day, she was directive and respectful with our wedding party and families, a huge relief for me! Our photos were beautiful and really captured the connection that my husband and I have. We enjoyed and appreciated every minute of working with Hannah and highly recommend her.

Hannah was fabulous to work with! We were planning our Jackson wedding from NY and she really put our minds at ease! She was able to recommend the best spots with the right lighting for the afternoon, way better than anything we could have come up with. She captured such special moments on our wedding day, you would have thought we had multiple photographers because she was running around (and we didn't even realize until after)!! She was so patient with me and all my requests to have a lot of family pictures :) She was checking in the week before + the day ahead so I knew she was prepared and super organized, which was amazing and beyond helpful! Hannah was a joy to work with from the beginning. She was very responsive to my initial request and made the whole process easy, especially considering that we were planning our wedding from across the US. On our wedding day, throughout the ceremony and the reception, Hannah blended right in, capturing many impromptu pics, which caught all of the moments we shared with friends and family. Her artistic eye and innate sense of where to be in order to capture the scene are evidenced in each image. We could not be happier with our photos and our experience with Hannah. She truly is a top-rate professional.

I have used Hannah twice now to capture major life milestones with the Tetons as a backdrop. Our first experience was a "honeymoon" photoshoot. My husband and I both tend to dislike the process of having our photo taken; however, Hannah made us both feel comfortable immediately. The time with her flew by and the gallery we were left with was utterly breathtaking (even with the mountains muted by wildfire smoke!). We adored her so much that one year later, we hired her again for my maternity photoshoot during a family vacation in the area. Her great personality is matched by her talent and her eye. Additionally, her knowledge of the area is a great resource when choosing locations. We absolutely adore Hannah and hope to use her in the future as we continue to visit our beloved Driggs to capture all of our big life moments!

I wanted a photographer that really captured special moments during our wedding instead of awkward set photos. Our wedding photos turned out amazing!!! Hannah = AMAZING We hired Hannah for our destination wedding at Jackson Lake Lodge 4 months ago and cannot imagine our day without her. She is very organized and helps the day run super smooth. If you are planning a destination wedding in Jackson Hole it is really nice to have local vendors who know the area and Hannah had great relationships with all our vendors. She puts her heart into all of her work and we felt like she put a lot of time/effort into capturing all the important details of the day.

We knew we wanted an amazing photographer who could capture the scenic beauty of our Jackson Hole wedding and who could really tell the story of our special day. We live in Denver and had numerous Skype calls with different photographers. We knew that Hannah was "the one" as soon as we began our call with her. Hannah was calm, professional, and really seemed to get us. On our wedding day, Hannah stayed calm cool, and collected as we were all running around for our "getting ready" shots. After our ceremony, Hannah guided everyone to ensure we got the shots that we wanted. We were really impressed with her attention to detail - she made sure that no one's face was shadowed by another, that the lighting was right, etc. She captured our beautiful backdrop of the Tetons, but made sure that we were still the focal point and the special candid moments she caught were wonderful. Besides the ring on your finger and your love by your side, your photos from your wedding are your best reminder of that beautiful day. We are so so thankful that we chose Hannah Hardaway Photography for our daughter's wedding in Grand Teton National Park this past June. First, she was so friendly and professional and so available to answer any questions before the big day and she took the photos my daughter wanted. Also, she is just so familiar with Wyoming and especially the Tetons and took just fabulous photos and knew exactly where to go to capture the best scenery. Our family absolutely loved working with Hannah and she was nearly eight months pregnant(!) and had so much energy! Five stars aren't enough!

My fiance and sister booked Hannah for a surprise engagement shoot and I was THRILLED! Hannah went above and beyond to intimately capture our special day. My fiance proposed right in front of my favorite place in the world, The Grand Tetons, and Hannah was a trooper and hid in the bushes (through some rain) while waiting for us to walk up for the big moment! Hannah was beyond professional and made the concept of taking photos relaxing. I am a nervous posed picture taker, and not once did I feel posed - I just felt like I was hanging out with my brand new fiance and family and someone was capturing the moment. When we made the choice to have a private, family-only wedding, we decided that the one thing we did want was a good photographer. A quick search reveals no shortage in the area of wedding photographers, but I was drawn immediately to the quality of Hannah’s photography. Her work seemed to capture the spirit of the moment better than any other that I saw, so we reached out to her about potentially photographing our wedding. Communications with Hannah went very well, and she had the vibe of an old-school Jackson resident. I grew up in the area and pine for the old vibes of Jackson, laid-back but achieving at a high level. Hannah embodies this ideal both in her work and her character. We were married on my family’s property up north, and by the time Hannah showed up she had already scouted several nearby locations for portraits and candid shots. I cannot stress how easygoing yet professional she was. As we were performing our ceremony, Hannah blended in to the background, doing great work at a high level while my new bride and I buzzed with love for each other. We then went on a quick drive for photos in the surrounding landscape, and although it was just my bride, myself, and Hannah, it felt very natural sharing the private moment with a third party who I just met. She had great direction for the portraits and help keep us smiling and glowing. As great as she is in person and as easy as she is to work with, the end product is even better. Hannah managed to capture the spirit of the event and of each person involved in a manner I did not imagine possible. My wife looked as radiant on film as she had in person. My nieces and nephew glowed with exuberance. Even the forests and mountains around us seemed to swell with joy in the photos. The photos prove a worthy document of the best day of my life, and that is thanks to Hannah’s professionalism and wonderful spirit. My daughter and future son-in-law chose Hannah to shoot photos for their wedding at Jackson Lodge, Grand Teton National Park last summer. My wife and I first met Hannah on the day of. For me, it was just before the ceremony. Immediately, I stopped worrying about the photos. Hannah and her assistant fit right in. They were everywhere, but not in the way. Her energy seemed boundless to me. She managed to capture the essence of the day. My wife and I married in Jackson Hole in September 2016. Hannah was our photographer and she did an AMAZING job! Despite a passing storm that brought cloud cover and rain, Hannah managed to get the incredible pictures we were hoping for. She is gifted at what she does. Following the wedding ceremony in the park and on the way to our reception at a local hotel, Hannah had us stop at a location on the side of the road overlooking the Teton mountains. The storm had broken, revealing a picturesque mountain view with snowcapped peaks accented by swirling clouds. One of those pictures hangs on our living room wall and I am looking at it while I write this review. It is simply incredible. Additionally, Hannah was able to provide us with recommendations for other aspects of the wedding while we were still in the 'planning stages'. She is very knowledgeable of the Jackson Hole area and works with many of the wedding planners, bakers, florists, officiants, etc in the area. Her recommendations helped us have the wedding of our dreams. If you are planning a wedding in Jackson Hole, go with Hannah Hardaway. My wife and I are very happy with her work and we know you will be too!

What a wonderful experience our family had with Hannah, she is so talented and has a wonderful photographic style. My daughter had a destination wedding in the Grand Tetons National Park and Hannah was always quick to respond to any email questions before the wedding and scoped out very scenic places to take meaningful photos. The day of the wedding she had a calm yet fun spirit, was easygoing yet helped guide us to capture memories to last a life time !

Hannah was amazing to work with! We had a winter wedding and I didn't know how the pictures would come out with all the white. But they were amazing! Hannah was wonderful to work with!

Hannah knew our vision from the start and captured the most amazing detail down to the invitations and place cards. She was so fun and lovely to work with. She knew we wanted to the scenery to be our decor and to not have overly posed pictures and everything turned out amazing! We could not have asked for a better photographer! Hannah by far exceeded my expectations for my wedding photography. She is so talented and such a pleasure to work with. I was drawn to her photos when I began looking for a photographer for my 2016 Jackson Hole winter destination wedding. Hannah helped me make a timeline for my wedding schedule and made everything so easy by quickly sending me the contract, shot lists, and laying out all plans and expectations. Of course plans change when you have a winter wedding in Jackson Hole, and because of the extreme weather (17" of snow the morning of our wedding) we had to rearrange some things and decide how to use our time to get the best photos. Hannah was so willing for anything and was tromping around in over a foot of snow to get the perfect shots. The conditions were definitely not easy to shoot in (it was basically a white-out) yet somehow she captured the most beautiful photos that I will treasure forever.I will never forget Hannah, my husband, and I running around in the snow, freezing, and laughing trying to get the shots. It was so fun :) I loved her creative style and how she really captured all of the best candid moments, which was what I was looking for, the posed family photos were gorgeous too, but I feel like she really understood what we were looking for and captured all of the natural beauty in the snow storm and made us look good :) I wouldn't change a thing, I am so happy with all of my photos. Not only is Hannah extremely talented as a photographer, but she is just a wonderful soul, and I am so happy she was at my wedding, I couldn't imagine it any other way, her personality and style were perfect for us. I absolutely love the wooden box of photos that came with my package. such a cool unique alternative to a photobook. I can't thank her enough and I wouldn't change anything. My wife and I got married in 2016, and we count ourselves extremely fortunate to have had Hannah with us on the big day. She is a gifted photographer, as we learned when we received the huge batch of beautiful and expertly edited photos. Not knowing much about photography myself, I was very impressed how she managed to capture the spirit of the event—both the joy and exhilaration of the celebration, as well as the small and quiet moments behind the scenes. This takes a sensitive and well-trained eye, and somehow she accomplished it while putting everyone at ease with her subtle and kind demeanor. One thing that I hadn’t anticipated was how she captured all kinds of interactions and moments that my wife and I hadn’t been around for, or hadn't remembered—flipping through the photos later ended up giving us a new and even richer perspective on the day. The whole thing zipped by in a heartbeat, and we’re so grateful that Hannah was there to document it. We’ll treasure the photos that she took for our whole lives.

Hannah Hardaway is an excellent photographer who is a pleasure to work with. She took many very fine photographs throughout the day of my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding in Jackson Hole. The ceremony was outdoors in a steep location on a windy day and Hannah adeptly moved to different locations throughout the afternoon and evening to catch the action, including the drama during the ceremony when the script was rescued after blowing off of the terrace where the wedding was taking place. Hannah manages to keep the main subject(s) in focus in each picture. Part of what makes her work excellent is that she judiciously takes the time to thoughtfully convert certain images to black and white to draw attention to the subject or emotion of the image or when the image is better presented in black and white due to unflattering lighting in some of the situations that are unavoidable throughout the day. In any rating system, Hannah earns the highest score.

Simply the best! We decided not to use a videographer for our wedding day so the photos were REALLY important as this was going to be our only way to look back and remember the best day of our lives. Knowing this, our wedding planner pointed us in Hannah's direction. After looking through her portfolio and chatting with her over the phone it was a no-brainer. Her photos speak to her talent! I truly cannot pick a favorite of all of the images from the wedding! There are some that I love because it captures the perfect moment and others are stunning because of her skill with lighting and eye for the best angle. Not only is her photography style unique and amazing but she, as the person behind the camera, makes the experience so wonderful! She is down to earth, gracious, FUN and at the same time professional and determined to capture the day in the best way she possibly can. The day after the wedding our guests even spoke about how fun and great the photographer was! I think her approachable personality allows her to integrate with the bride and groom as well as their families and guests so that everyone feels comfortable! The more comfortable people are, the more natural and candid the photos appear - so even the posed portraits feel fresh and look beautiful! You were wonderful Hannah! This woman is awesome! We were completely blown away by the wedding album she delivered. Every shot is gorgeous! We presented her with a truly challenging lighting scenario and it didn't slow her down at all, she nailed every moment. If you are looking for the perfect person to shoot your wedding you have found her.

Hannah is a one-of-a-kind professional. My wife and I were married in September 2013, and we began looking for a photographer to shoot our Jackson wedding at the beginning of the year. We're both avid travelers and we grew up reading National Geographic; we found each other mostly due to that shared passion. As such, we hoped to find a photographer who could capture our wedding with a sort of travel/documentary style. Initially, we didn't think such a thing would be possible. But as it turns out, we found Hannah's work through Google and we immediately knew that she was the only option for us. (And of course, it helps that her work has been published in Nat Geo!) We scheduled a meet-and-greet in preparation for our September wedding. We had already been perusing her work for weeks before and there was never really any doubt that she was the only one for the job -- as a matter of fact, we didn't even bother to pursue other photographers. We finally met up with her in a little tea shop in downtown Jackson in late January, and we were sold from the second she walked through the door. She came impeccably prepared with binder after binder of sample photography from previous weddings and from her travels throughout the world, and it was immediately obvious that both her personality and her professional experience were simply perfect. Oh, and as it turns out, she was a former Olympic skier. Seriously. But that was just icing on the cake -- we booked her as soon as we returned home, and that was that. Throughout the rest of the year until our wedding, she routinely touched base to get our input and to ensure that everything was proceeding accordingly. Throughout those discussions and planning, she never skipped a beat and there were zero issues whatsoever. As the day of our wedding finally arrived, things could not have gone smoother. From beginning to end, Hannah was cool as a cucumber and, quite frankly, we wish she could have simply been a guest so she could have hung out with us all day. Things could not have gone smoother. She's astonishingly laid-back, and her humor and personality were a huge part of our enjoyment that day. As we soon found out, she captured our wedding above and beyond even our wildest dreams. We had a small number of shots that we were specifically looking for but for the most part we wanted her to dictate the vast majority of wedding shots -- and I think that was possibly the best decision we made. So here we sit, almost three years later, still marveling at Hannah's contribution to our wedding. Every single shot was captivating and her work perfectly reflected our own personal style. If we had it to do over again, there is NOTHING that we would change. There's no hyperbole when I say things could not have gone better, and that, to this day, we're still absolutely thrilled with how well she documented our wedding. We were enamored with her personality and creative vision from day one, and working with her was simply a sublime experience! I cannot underestimate how appreciative we are to her!

As I searched for the perfect photographer, I spent countless hours online looking at websites. Then, I found Hannah Hardaway! Her photos were intimate, honest, and simply beautiful. When I spoke with her on the phone I knew she was it! We were originally doing only our engagement photos with her, but we quickly decided that she just had to be our wedding photographer in California, as well. She cared as much about our wedding as we did! She was thoughtful, a fantastic listener to our requests, offered such great ideas and suggestions, and willing to go the extra mile. Her email correspondence is so helpful. Everything is laid out and easy to understand. I honestly can't say enough great things about her. Her photos were all we hoped for and more. We loved all of her personal touches, and could not be happier with our entire experience.

Hannah Hardaway is a phenomenal wedding photographer. Both the groom and I are not big fans of having our photos taken, and she worked with us to make the day as easy as possible. Per our request, we got through the staged photos rather quickly, which was perfect for us. She took the most amazing candid photos of the wedding, and was completely unobtrusive in doing so. I have had so many people compliment me on the photos and tell me I must have had a very special wedding photographer, and I would agree! Cannot recommend her enough.

I have nothing but praise for Hannah Hardaway Photography! My husband and I were so lucky to have had Hannah as the photographer for our elopement ceremony. She did an amazing job...our photos turned out beautifully! Her shots are more candid and personal than the typical posed shots you often see for weddings, resulting in much more intimate and artful photos. Not only is Hannah very talented, but she is also extremely personable, very professional, and her rates are more than fair, especially considering her location in Jackson, Wyoming, where the cost of many services tend to be inflated due to the wealthier clientele base. She made us feel very comfortable right away as well so we weren't so stiff or awkward during the shoot as we might have been with someone less friendly. She is a delightful person! Hannah went out of her way to shoot our elopement...our ceremony location was not particularly close or easy to get to...and we were so grateful to find someone willing to do what she could to capture our special day. We loved Hannah's work so much that we hired her to shoot our newborn photos as well. We just got them back and they are incredibly sweet and lovely!

I am so glad Hannah Hardaway was our wedding photographer because she is awesome!! She is very professional and takes amazing pictures. She was easy to communicate with before the wedding and always responded to questions in a timely manner. We had a destination wedding, and Hannah was very helpful when I had questions during the planning process. Hannah was a Godsend from start to finish during our wedding planning. She was cheerful, helpful in aiding with package selection and took wonderful photos. Our composed family photo session was so organized and fast compared to many I've participated in. It made getting to our reception fast! We've have countless compliments on our photos and about her professionalism during the day! I really felt like she prioritized our feelings about how to capture the day. We asked for her to capture the laughter of our day to remember how our friends and family looked as they enjoyed the party- and I smile just thinking about them. Hannah was an amazing photographer for our Wyoming wedding. She 100% captured our wedding and took in to account everything we discussed prior to the big day. I wanted a good representation of candid shots rather than a bunch of portraits and posed photos. She did an amazing job of capturing personality, silliness, and wedding fun! I didn't want a ton of portrait/posed photos but ended up extremely happy with all of them - she managed to make my husband and I not look awkward, which is not an easy task ;) I definitely recommend Hannah for any event photography. She was great before, during, and after the wedding.
