Hiring Hannah to capture our day was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She was great to work with and so kind and flexible given all the wedding planning chaos due to Covid. Originally, when we were deciding who to hire as a photographer, we thought we wanted a super hands-off photographer but after doing our due diligence and talking to Hannah for the first time, we realized the benefit of having a photographer who would not only capture beautiful photos but also help us structure our day and think through the schedule and timeline. We really didn’t know what we didn’t know before our initial call with her and Hannah’s expertise with scheduling helped us think through how we were going to structure the day (which was super helpful when we had to re-plan our civil ceremony due to Covid). Hannah also was great at directing traffic and helping us plan out all the family photos ahead of time. We didn’t have to overly direct the day of because Hannah had her list and she gave instructions (firmly and politely) to keep things moving and that took so much stress off of us. Her photos are just stunning! We found her when another couple hired her for their wedding and her work is what initially drew us to her – her photos are light and airy and we just love her style. We have so many special photos from this day – both family and portrait that we will treasure forever. After looking at Hannah’s photos from the day one of our friends said “she really captured the essence of you both as a couple” and we SO agree. The quality of her work is just exceptional. Hannah took our engagement and wedding photos and we were happy with everything about her work with us from beginning to end! She is the best combination of personal and professional, making it easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera while still making sure that everything gets done efficiently. I was particularly impressed by how kindly and flexibly Hannah handled things when our wedding was impacted by COVID-19. Hannah helped us think through multiple options and made it clear that she was willing to work with us whatever we decided. We chose to have a tiny wedding on our original day at an entirely new location and she quickly adapted to the change in plans. Now we have hundreds of beautiful photos from our wedding AND we get to work with her again at the bigger wedding reception we postponed to next year!

Hannah was so great for our engagement session last year that we hired her again for our wedding photos. She is super easy to communicate with and she really made planning a breeze when everything else seemed so stressful. Hannah was fantastic for our engagement shoot at Port Orleans resort! She took the guess work out of poses really did her location research ahead of time. I spent a lot of my own time looking for a good photographer and she did not disappoint. I am so glad we got the opportunity to take photos at Disney with her. We’re both Disney lovers so I anticipate and look forward to taking family photos together at another point.

The first thing that caught my eye about Hannah Kathleen Photography when comparing vendors was the quality of her photos. I was looking for a bright style of photograph and was very specific about how I wanted the lighting and colors to look and Hannah’s photos fit that exact match. Once I initially reach out to her, it was clear she was the best choice. I planned my Buffalo, NY wedding from Columbus, OH and Hannah was so responsive and accommodating to this. We had plenty of phone conversations and emails back and forth to discuss and the details my husband and I wanted in our special day. She even made time to meet up with us on a whim when we were in town for just one full day so we could all meet in person! I did not have a wedding planner and Hannah stepped up and even helped in that respect. She aided me in crafting the perfect timeline and walked through way more details than required for just photography which I will be forever grateful for. On our wedding day Hannah was invaluable. She arrived early and got started right away capturing the all the detail shots. She was so kind and a sense of calmness on what can be a hectic day. She was ultra-organized and able to keep our wedding party in check to get the most awesome shots. I cannot say enough good things about Hannah Kathleen photography. I would choose her a million times over. We got a sneak peek of our photos the day after our wedding and the rest came about 3 weeks later which was amazing in my book! If you’re looking for a very professional, and personable photographer who is responsive, and of course takes incredible photographs then Hannah is the right choice!

From the second we spoke with Hannah we knew she was the perfect photographer for our special day! Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. As a bride that has to literally plan every single detail myself I trusted Hannah enough to leave everything about our pictures.. poses.. location pretty much up to her. No doubt in my mind that she was absolutely the reason why everything went so smooth. Plus I hate pictures of myself and she made us both feel extremely comfortable!

I cannot say enough good things about Hannah. She took the time to get to know me, and what I wanted my day to look like. She was excited, organized, helpful, and so creative. Hannah was so much more than a photographer. She met with me before the wedding to make sure the day was planned down to the minute. On the day of, she worked beautifully with my coordinator to make sure we stayed on schedule. She knew what things I was anxious about and helped to smooth over those inevitable moments. She made sure I was organized weeks before hand by checking in via email to ensure I was preparing my photography essentials so I wouldn’t have to worry about it the week of (box of items to photograph, list of family and friend photos, schedule for her time, timing of travel). And of course, my photos are GORGEOUS! I am in love with them all; they capture my day perfectly. I look back at them and can relive every single moment. I loved every single part of my wedding day, and I am so happy I can look back at my day through my photos with joy. With a once in a lifetime event, the happiest day of my life, I wouldn’t trust anyone more than I do Hannah to capture my moments.

I have been holding off on getting family portraits of us since the start of, well, my family because I wanted to wait until our family was complete to spend the money. Fast forward five years in, with two kids and one on the way, my family actually won an Instagram contest where we were awarded a free mini session. I was so excited! We got to the studio, a little anxious and nervous, since my two littles (and us two adults for that matter) have never done anything like this before. Hannah was AMAZING. So relaxed, so gentle and you can just tell she has the rare “photographic eye”. What was most important to me was being able to capture my 5 year old high energetic boy and my 2 year old super shy girl in the perfect shot and was apprehensive that Hannah would be able to succeed. Not only was she able to get one perfect shot- I literally couldn’t choose between the handful of them. All of them were amazing. Hannah was so good with my kids. You could tell that they were calm and relaxed and willing to participate because they felt comfortable around her. Our picture perfectly captures who we are as a family and I could not ask for anything more. Needless to say, I will not be waiting again for our family to be complete- Hannah’s work is not only worth every single penny, but it’s the perfect way to snap that moment in your families lives. I will, over and over again, recommend her- for family portraits, for engagement photos, for wedding photos and beyond. She is incredible.

We have used Hannah for 2 family picture sessions, one in our hometown of Buffalo, NY and one in Disney World. While we did not use her for wedding photography, I wish I had found her when we were booking our wedding photographer 5 years ago. She is always prompt and prepared but at the same time so relaxed and easy going that the photos are a fun and enjoyable event. Her talent is evident from her portfolio (as well as the amazing family pictures she has taken for us). She is an amazing photographer from booking up through finished project and choosing her to capture your memories will ensure you have photographs to cherish for years to come.

Hannah was an absolute delight to work with! For starters we are both huge Disney fans so we connected right away! It might also help that my fiancée proposed in front of Cinderella’s Castle at Disney World. She goes above and beyond to get the pictures that you want! We were incredibly happy with both our engagement and wedding pictures. My husband and I are currently expecting a little girl and we cannot wait to hopefully meet up with Hannah again soon at Disney to take pictures of our little family!

Hannah is simply a delight! She is the type of person who you already feel like you know right away. It was so easy and comfortable chatting with her about our wedding vision and plans. Hannah is very kind, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and understanding, yet professional. Hannah took pictures for us for our engagement photos and they were FANTASTIC! She made it so easy for us from start to finish. She guided us every step of the way, from outfit ideas before the shoot, to giving us directions to the location, and she made everything so easy and natural for our photos! Even though she had so many ideas for our photo shoot, we had some of our own "Pinterest" ideas and she was happy to help us pose whatever we wanted! We also felt a little adventurous during our shoot and decided to venture into the water, & she went all the way in with us to get some amazing pictures! Our family will never use another photographer! I knew nothing about Hannah when we first used her for our first son's newborn photos almost 2.5 years ago, having been referred by a family friend, so I was anxious (obviously) to invest in family pictures! However, I have NEVER been let down by Hannah from day 1. She has since done several family sessions for us and, most recently, a newborn session for our second son! My older son (a crazy, high energy but shy 2.5 year old) warmed up to Hannah right away and during our last session did great taking cues and following her direction....and that says a lot! He doesn't listen to anyone! Hannah has an incredible way with kids and I'm always amazed at the pictures I get back from her. Just when I think she couldn't have gotten any good pictures during a particularly rambunctious family session, she turns around gorgeous picture after gorgeous picture. She is fantastic at making all of the pictures seem natural and has a great eye for capturing every family member's personality through her lens. Turn around time for pictures is very reasonable and she is very quick to respond to emails/texts/phone calls. She always goes out of her way to make our dates and times work for her and is a complete professional. We are so lucky to have found Hannah and will use her services as long as she'll have our crazy family!!

Grateful. From the very first time we met with Hannah, we knew she was the perfect fit for us. Hannah is so genuine, loving, and kind. She went above and beyond every step of the way, worked within our budget and even gifted us extra time. And she’s freaking AMAZING at what she does! She was not only our photographer, but our mini wedding coordinator. Her communication before, during and after the wedding is second to none. We now have our family photographer for life!

We are so lucky that Hannah has been able to take our family pictures for so many years! She is so easy to work with; very accommodating and responds quickly to all requests and questions. She does an amazing job capturing the kids smiles and their personalities. Every year when it is time to get our annual pictures, there is never a question of who we will use! The hardest part is picking the pictures I want to frame in the end!

Hannah took my daughter's senior photos and it was a great experience from start to finish. Hannah was really accommodating and flexible when we scheduled a time for the shoot. She also did a great job picking locations that suited my daughter's style. My daughter is a little camera shy but Hannah was so friendly and relaxed that it made it easy for my daughter to be comfortable. We hired Hannah for our engagement session and wedding photos. I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful the whole experience was. From the very beginning Hannah made the time and effort to sit down with us and really go into detail (over an hour conversation) about what we wanted for photography and our vision - and this was all before even signing a contract or making a deposit to her. From the beginning she made us feel comfortable and offered great advice. During our engagement photos Hannah really made us feel at ease in front of the camera - telling us exactly what to do, how to stand, etc. and kept us laughing even though I was freezing. Throughout the whole planning process Hannah was there to help with all the little details of the day, down to making us an entire day of timeline - which made planning for me SO much easier! Our pictures turned out gorgeous! Exactly as we had envisioned! She got every shot we requested and more than what I would have ever thought of! So many beautiful detail shots as well! We are so happy with all the work and effort Hannah put into our big day - her passion for photography really shines through! Hannah made us feel like more than just a client, she made us feel like a friend who wanted to see us happy on their wedding day!

My husband and I used Hannah Kathleen Photography as both our engagement and wedding photographer in 2016. We could not have asked for a better photographer! We met with a couple of other photographers prior to meeting with Hannah and both my husband and I both did not have a good feeling about it. As soon as we met with Hannah, we felt confident that she was the one we wanted to take our photos! She made us feel completely at ease, was excited about our ideas for how we were making our wedding unique, and even helped come up with suggestions for settings that would match our style. As any bride knows, the day of the wedding can be such a chaotic and overwhelming day. Hannah was amazing at keeping everything on schedule so that we got all of the photos we had talked about getting. And she did so without being pushy or controlling. My husband and I were really happy to receive the photos of both our engagement shoot and wedding day back in a timely manner. While planning our wedding, the one thing that my husband and I were constantly told was to be present on the day, that it goes by so fast. It does. And before you know it, it's over. Thats why having an amazing photographer to capture the day is important! When I first met Hannah, she was hired to photograph my brothers wedding. It was a small, private ceremony at the Japanese Gardens in Delaware Park with a formal reception with friends and family afterwards at the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society building. I was impressed with how easy going and kind she was. She was able to give quick and simple instructions and the results were so organic and beautiful looking. She has an eye for detail that is like no other. When the time came for my husband and I to begin planning our wedding a year and a half later, we both agreed Hannah will be capturing the day for us. Hannah was so calm, organized, and confident. She met with us before hand to get a sense of what we wanted and learn about us as a couple. She was able to give us a run down of how the day will play out and mapped out a plan for the day of. We truly had no idea what to ask for, but both agreed that we didn't want a lot of staged type portraits but rather more candid looking shots. I trusted her with my vision and she pulled through. Because of our budget we originally opted to not have engagement photos taken. However last minute Hannah threw the idea out there and we took it. It was 2 weeks before our wedding day. We met along the waterfront at Wilkeson Pointe where my husband proposed. It was beautiful and I cannot thank her enough for squeezing us in with such short notice. As a wedding gift to my brother and sister-in-law for standing up in our wedding I asked Hannah to do a family session with them and their baby at the Japanese Gardens where they were married 2 years earlier... See the trend? Hannah has become the official family photographer. The day of the wedding Hannah came calm and ready to conquer. She masterfully orchestrated the wedding party portraits and family portraits at Our Lady of Victory Basilica. She captured my beautiful family and friends dancing and laughing at our reception at Buffalo Riverworks. Yes the day did go by fast, but can be relived every time we look at the album. We cannot recommend Hannah enough.

Hannah has taken our engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn and family photos and we couldn’t ask for a better photographer. She makes the process easy! She is extremely helpful in planning the details. Prior to our wedding she helped us plan a list of photos so we wouldn’t miss out on a photo opportunity with any friend or family member. She made a photography schedule that worked around how we had our day set up so everyone knew where to be and when ahead of time. They day ran so smoothly and as a busy bride, it was a load off my mind. The end results were absolutely stunning photos I can look back on to remember such a special day. Now, she does so well with our two young children! And she captures the most beautiful photos! Our house is practically a Hannah Kathleen Photography studio. Hannah is an excellent photographer and a joy to work with! Hannah photographed my wedding and my family was so happy with her that two years later we asked her to do a family photo shoot with our baby, and she also photographed my sister-in-law’s wedding. Througought each shoot she was responsive to our wishes, flexible, easy to work with and, most importantly, produced fantastic pictures. She even managed to get beautiful shots of my fussy baby, and remIned patient throughout that shoot (and every shoot). I highly recommend her!
