Hanover Reserve Wedding & Events is a venue located on 45 private acres in Hamilton, OH. The grand bucolic building overlooks a two-acre pond and is surrounded by lush Midwestern nature. While it’s only minutes away from the cities of Oxford and Hamilton, the wide space and natural surroundings will give you and your guests privacy during your special day.
This family-owned-and-operated venue started with the goal and desire to give couples a chance to marry in seclusion and peace. The team of three brothers made their dream a reality, alongside their wives and kids, and worked to share the wholesome aesthetic with couples. They strive to exceed your expectations, and will be happy to play their part in your big day. Whether you want an intimate elopement or a large extravagant reception, the team are happy to meet your wedding vision and needs.
Hanover Reserve Wedding & Events can accommodate receptions of up to 400 guests. The interior features ornate chandeliers hanging from high vaulted ceilings, and exposed wooden beams decorated with lights. The main floor is the reception, ceremony, and rehearsal space, while a mezzanine floor with a grand staircase gives an overhead view of partying guests. The indoor venue provides air conditioning and heating to keep guests comfortable during any season. Large windows provide plenty of natural light and views of the lush outdoor space. Designated areas for bar services, grand entrances, and getting-ready suites are all on site. Covered patios and parking on the property makes it easy for traveling and cocktail hours. To ensure that the venue looks its best for you, the team can meet with you 30 days before the wedding day to finalize details. The floor plans are customizable, and setup for tables and chairs will be arranged to suit your seating arrangement. Your preferred caterers will have access to the kitchen to make your reception dinner as fresh as possible. The staff have access to gators and driving carts to drive elderly guests or the wedding party for photoshoots.

hearsal and the lady coordinating had no idea what the plans were going into it. I had never met her before and she was very nice just didnt have any idea of my visions and plans for the day, we only had an hour to rehearse and most of it was me talking to her telling her the plans we had already made with our final venue meeting. My 30 day meeting was with the venue owner and not coordinator so I think that was the issue. Then come to the day of my wedding we arrived at the venue the earliest that was allowed by the venue (9am) the coordinator was there by herself setting up tables and again didn't know how I had picked the layout from the meeting and then we had to help set up the venue and set out all the decorations for everything to be set up by the time of the ceremony. So we had no time to chill in the dressing rooms because we had to set up the entire vemue. We were suppose to have 2 coordinators and we only had one. It added to the already stressful day and we had no time to relax because we were setting up tables and decorations. The amount of money we paid for the venue was outrageous when comparing to what we actually received. When booking we didn't see the price as an issue. It was on the more expensive side for also having to pay additional for bar services. $7,000 for just the venue alone and we ended up setting up majority of the wedding. I spoke to a few ladies that used the same venue and they felt the same way.

riendly and helpful. Melanie was very nice and helped us make sure the space was exactly what we were looking for. You get two wedding coordinators with the venue that help make the day run smoothly. I loved the girls and guys spaces for hanging out and getting ready. The space is naturally breathtaking so whether you have minimal decorations or go all out it still looks stunning.

hen whatever you pick they do an open bar which we didn’t know until a couple weeks before the wedding. If that’s something you’re wondering about I’d ask them about it upfront. Other than that I loved working with them and the day of the wedding was seamless. They made sure everything ran smoothly and listened to what we wanted. I would also recommend to read the contract closely so you’re aware of what’s included. They provide a lot of extras that can help save you money and then there are add on items you can pay extra for. We paid for the curtains and I’m so glad we did. Their day of coordinators were amazing. We had an indoor wedding with a cocktail hour outside and then an indoor reception and they did the flip in like 15 minutes. The getting ready areas are also incredible and make the day so nice. All our photos look amazing because the venue is gorgeous. There is plenty of parking and the venue can hold a large number of people. I’m glad we chose the Hanover for our wedding location!
