When you plan a domestination wedding in only six months, then sit on the fence about a videographer for most of that, you kind of just cross your fingers and hope they somewhat get the big stuff. But, Chance Gilbert. Hired blindly just ten days before...working completely alone...and just the most precious soul to boot. He somehow shrunk 10+ hours of raw footage into 10 minutes and expertly captured so many of the highlights of what happened there on that magical day. Thank you for doing justice to the beauty and the enormity of this love me and my new husband share. Not only do we both cry like babies, but it feels like we have this day all over again every time we watch it!

Chance & Christina were amazing to work with. Our photos turned out BEAUTIFUL and it was so easy working with them. The planning process was really great because Chance was very responsive and I greatly appreciate that more than anything. We were very pleased with our Ceremony photos and Reception photos (so many good dancing photos). Also, one of my favorite parts of the day was when we snuck away to take more intimate photos outside our Church following the Ceremony. Those turned out perfect! Vance is absolutely amazing! Not o it was he extremely helpful in helping my now husband and I plan our special day but was kind enough to travel from Austin, tX to Far North Texas in the May summer heat. His professionalism and eye in capturing the most breathtaking candid video has become my most prized possession. His flexibility and ability to work with us in capturing all events in our special day lead to many of our friends and family crying each time after watching the video! Initially, a videographer was not high on our wedding priority list, but we’re so glad we found Chance! My now husband and I watched so many wedding videos and found ourselves getting bored a few seconds in, but Chance’s videos kept our attention throughout. That’s how we knew we found our videographer. I’ve had many friends tell me they teared up from watching our video! One thing that was important to us was capturing drone footage of our venue (Four Seasons in downtown Austin right off the lake). His footage of the lake and downtown was spectacular! He really has mastered the artistry of wedding videos and not only has a great eye of capturing important and fun moments, but is able to edit them into a fantastic highlight reel that you want to watch over and over again. We also really enjoyed the fact that our highlight video came on a Blu-ray with “lightly edited raw footage” so that we could relive almost the entire evening ourselves. We specifically didn’t want our vows and speeches in the highlight video but we loved being able to see it in the raw footage. We are so happy to have found Chance and would highly recommend him to anyone! THANK YOU!!

The magic was seen through the lens of how Chance captured our wedding, all the details, fun, and weirdness of our personalities. Chance is a true professional and has a keen eye for recording the emotions of the day. He personalized our service over the phone, and got to know our vision to create a video that reflects my now husband and my personality. Chance’s turnaround time is 4-6 weeks, as stated in the contract and on his website. He was punctual, friendly, and considerate of your time. His editing skills blended our music choices, graphics, special effects, and our most unforgettable moments together smoothly, like buttercream frosting. Chance used a drone to record some of the beautiful aerial views of the Brodie Homestead venue, and caught us in our most candid moments, which is truly a sight to be seen. The video is a wonderful way to remember our special day with interviews from our friends and family, and the dance/ karaoke skills of people at our reception. Chance is easy to work with, and I would definitely recommend him.

I hired Chance to video our entire wedding ceremony and dinner reception in Sept. 2016. He was AMAZING! Totally worth every penny. Not only is Chance affordable than most vendors, he was great with communication, and his products are impeccable! Chance was very patient, sweet, and added many creative touches to the video. Our wedding was the best weekend of our lives. It's amazing how quickly it's all over and although we were left with amazing memories, it's impossible to remember everything. Initially my husband and I differed on whether or not to get a videographer to film our wedding. He wanted one, and I really didn't think it was necessary. After hiring Happened by Chance and seeing our video, I can honestly say I was wrong. From the moment that we met Chance ( before hiring him) we felt completely at ease. He is so laid back but also so obviously involved and connected with his work. He filmed our wedding without it ever feeling intrusive or forced. He was able to catch all of our favorite moments as well as those moments you wish you had remembered but didn't because it all goes by so quickly. We got the Sapphire package and honestly could not be happier. Chance even loaded the video on YouTube for us and we were able to send out the link in our thank you notes! All in all if you are looking for a wonderful videographer my husband and I both full heartedly recommend Happened by Chance!

Great communication! Awesome creativity! So reliable! We had an epic storm/flooding for our wedding, Chance showed up and still managed all the stress and caught our moments! Great guy to work with and communicates great throughout the entire process!

Chance is a nice guy but unfortunately he sent his associate to film our wedding. We loved our highlight video so we were excited to see our complete wedding video. His associate did not turn on the audio so we lost the best man/ maid of honor speeches and toast and an skit and songs that our bridal party did for us. Beware if it is anyone other than Chance tapping your special event.

Chance was absolutely amazing with our wedding. We had both an indian and american ceremony, and he made sure to get proper footage of both ceremonies even though he had not filmed an indian wedding prior to ours. On the day of, he arrived early to set up. For most of the actual day he shot beautiful angles without being in the way of the actual ceremony. He also met with us before the wedding to check if we had any special requests for the video. Chance was incredibly professional and incredibly respectful during both of the ceremonies. He also impressed a lot of my family who absolutely love being on camera! In addition to all of this, he sent us our videos within a few weeks of the wedding, editing and beautifully cut. I would absolutely recommend Chance to anyone who is getting married with any type of ceremony.

Happened by Chance did a phenomenal job on our wedding video and I can not say enough good things about it! Chance was very professional and a delight to work with. He interacted with us and the other vendors with ease and made us feel like the stars of the day. He's services were much more affordable than others and the quality of our video is out of this world! We've had soooo many compliments on it and the general reaction from everyone is, "WOW!". At first we thought to save money by not having a video done, but we're incredibly happy we did it. On our honeymoon we both talked a lot about our feelings throughout that day and how the day went and different moments we always wanted to remember and when we got back our video was up and ready to view and we both we're in near tears reliving the emotions and memories of the day again. It was not planned but I sure am glad we had “Happened by Chance” to catch all the memories we missed. For the past year I thought, “Save Money. Save Money. No video”, but I was also scared that I would regret not having a video of one of the most precious days in our lives. With two weeks left before the big day, I changed my mind and I found Chance. He was available, friendly, and most of all understanding of our situation. I booked him about a week out from the BIG day and I have no regrets. He was AWESOME! On time, professional, flexible, approachable, and was always camera ready for anything that came up. I do not remember every detail from that day or all the sweet words that were shared during the speeches but at least now I have the video to remind me of all the love that was shared on that day. My husband and I did a lot of researching for a videographer. Prices did not match with what they offered, lots of people told us that our wedding video would be 20-40 minutes long (which is ridiculous cause some ceremonies are longer than that.) We finally found Chance and after one meeting we were sold. I'm so happy that we DID NOT book with anyone else. Chance is such a great videographer! He was discreet and not at all in the way during the wedding which is what you want, he did a great job catching all the moments of our wedding. We love our wedding video and definitely recommend him for any couple looking!! His prices are affordable, the work and quality of his videos is amazing!

Chance was great to work with! We met with him before the wedding and he took notes of what we were looking for specifically and delivered that on our wedding day. He was there from the time we started getting ready in the morning to the time we left our reception in the afternoon. We asked him to record my husband and I reading personal letters to each other and he went above and beyond by finding a way to incorporate those into our wedding video. During the ceremony, he was very discrete. No one even noticed he was there and he never got in the way. I had seen videographers get in the way before at other weddings I attended and so I was very thankful he did the great job that he did.
