When I think about our wedding day I instantly think, thank goodness for Kris and her amazing support! It was such a fun day, where we got to be in the moment and just enjoy the experience because Kris was working so swiftly and happily behind the scenes to make sure everything worked well. I will never forget when we got the flowers and I had forgotten to get a boutineer for my husband the groom! Kris didn't bat an eyelash and took some sprigs of flowers and twine and all these goodies she had in her supplies and we had a perfectly crafted boutineer! It was pure, stress free magic. From the moment we talked on the phone to the end of the wedding night, Kris was so lovely to work with. Only down side is now I don't have a reason to call her and talk about our amazing dogs ha ha. We so appreciate all your hard work Kris thank you for all you do!

I hired Kris to help plan a friend's 60th birthday party! Wow did Kris deliver!! She had all kinds of creative ideas plus the knowledge and skills to execute the gritty details which is always a challenge to do! Her calm demeanor, supportive personality and friendliness to all the guests at the event was a huge plus! She delivered in every way and went beyond all expectations! Thank you Kris!!!

I hired Kris at Happenings for “partial planning” for my wedding, and I’m so glad I did. We live in Seattle and had our wedding in Big Sky, MT. If you are looking for an experienced, hardworking, empathetic wedding planner, look no further. When I got engaged, I quickly felt overwhelmed searing for venues and vendors online. There are just so many CHOICES out there and it’s hard to compare apples to apples. Kris adjusted her partial planning package based on my needs. She helped me a ton with the upfront planning. For our venue search, she listened to my criteria and sent me about 8 options to choose from. Then, she set up appointments with the venues I wanted to visit when I was in town. We loved our venue and would have never found it without her guidance. She helped the same way with every vendor. For example, instead of searching blindly for photographers in my area, she sent me 3 options that were in my price range and available on my date. She handled all the vendor communication and truly made the upfront of our wedding planning a breeze. She gave me tons of advice even when she wasn’t directly involved, was constantly available via text (or email, or for a phone call), and always had fantastic recommendations. The month of the wedding, Kris was invaluable. She created our timeline, coordinated with vendors, wedding party, and family, and generally made my life way easier. On the day of the wedding, Kris worked behind the scenes to make sure everything went flawlessly. I truly cannot imagine having a wedding without a day of coordinator (you would have to have at least 1 family member spend the day working instead of enjoying). A lot of venues say that they have a coordinator for you (ours did). Kris' help went so far above and beyond what the venue’s coordinator can give you. She is truly your advocate and someone who has your interests in mind. Thank you, Kris, for your fantastic work! I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in the Montana area.

I could not have pulled off my wedding without Happenings. Kris was amazing from start to finish, she made the process so easy and brought all of my dreams to reality. . We hired Kris as a 'day of' coordinator but she consistently went above and beyond every expectation we had. We were able to meet with her several times in person before the wedding to help with planning. She was also always incredibly responsive via email and phone the entire time leading up to the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding she ended up going even further above and beyond our expectations. We were doing a lot of the wedding on our own and had hired some people to help us clean up the venue after the wedding. When they didn't show up the day of, Kris stayed longer than her contracted time and helped to start the cleaning process, direct some of our friends on where to focus, etc. Our wedding day was amazing and we could not have done it without Kris' hard work and attention to detail. She was a consistent, calming presence throughout the process always reminding us and assuring us that things were going to be amazing. We will be forever grateful to her.
