Happily Ever Asheville is a wedding coordination and officiating service located in Asheville, North Carolina.
The idea for Happily Ever Asheville began to take shape in 2015, when I (Amanda) had the honor of officiating my friends’ wedding. I'm passionate about love, romance, and celebrating the bond between two humans. I focus on bringing joy, gratitude and positive energy to each ceremony.
Happily Ever Asheville has evolved over the years to include day-of coordination for couples who love the details of planning a wedding but need someone to ensure their vision becomes a reality on their wedding day. As a coordinator, I am both kind and assertive, organized and fun, calm and present. My goal is to ensure your day is stress-free and memorable in all the best ways.
I've officiated an array of ceremonies from traditional weddings, elopements, handfasting, ring warming and more. I am legally ordained and take care of filing your marriage license. I also offer support along the way with writing your vows and choosing ceremony selections that align with you. I view script writing as a collaborative process.

I've developed a 1:1 Premarital Coaching Program that is personalized and catered to your relationship so you get the most bang for your buck. tant to hire a Day of Coordinator because we were planning a low-key wedding and didn’t consider ourselves high maintenance. My husband talked me into it, and it ended up being a great decision.
Amanda has such a friendly and calming personality which made the process less stressful than it otherwise could have been. Very professional but very open and communicative.
Several planned meetings were great to get answers to our questions, for her to get to know us, and draft the timeline leading up to the wedding.
As Officiant: So many guests commented on how wonderful she was, and my mom wanted to adopt her. The ceremony was the perfect length, and she was able to pull our minimal comments together into a beautiful ceremony that was perfectly us.
As Coordinator: She attended our tasting where she got to know the venue, caterer, and us. Her notes translated seamlessly into execution on the day of, where arriving just a couple hours before the ceremony she had everything and everyone in place for things to go as planned. When Amanda saw a need, she addressed it, even helping the venue staff rearrange between the ceremony and reception. She checked in on us throughout the night – ensure we didn’t get too distracted and off schedule – and hung around until, as planned, things were on cruise control for the rest of the evening.
Other: We forgot our marriage license the night of the wedding (d’oh) so she made a special trip out the next day to sign for us. She goes above and beyond to make sure your day is special. Would highly recommend!

She was our point person the day of the wedding, our reception DJ and MC, literally our legitimate last minute OFFICIANT since our original officiant got Covid the week of the wedding. She was here the day before the wedding to run the rehearsal with bride and groom and wedding party, and to double-check event details with us. She was obviously personally invested in this couple and the success of their event, and she went out of her way to make sure that they were comfortable and confident, while also making sure that the rain plan was fully worked out. And SURPRISE - the cousin of the groom who was going to officiate got COVID two days before the event, leaving the couple with an emergency to figure out. imously agree the single most impactful decision we made was hiring Amanda as our officiant. Amanda took the time to truly get to know us as a couple-- our story, our values, our energy. She did this over a series of phone calls/Zoom calls since were out of state. She was, at every moment, organized, communicative, kind, creative, personable and helpful with questions about the process and about our venue (since she'd worked there before and we were out of state). She had fantastic ideas for how to personalize the ceremony to best reflect us and created an organized script that we were able to review and comment on beforehand. On the day of, she dressed beautifully and matched our color palette. Her words were just beautiful. So personalized to us. Her energy and tone matched our vision so well. Our ceremony was extremely natural, genuine, and authentic because of Amanda. Our wedding day started off with rain, and while we waited for the rain to pass, Amanda hung out with us and our photographer in the car--it felt like we had known her forever! Amanda went above and beyond anything I would've expected from an officiant! She helped me zip up my wedding dress, carry a couple of things, and she was great to talk to as we took our little trip up the mountain. Our ceremony was the perfect mix of what we had requested--intimate, personal, and little bit of fun! She told our love story perfectly and wrapped in some of our jokes--she had me laughing and crying. She also makes a great effort to run out of the way for first kiss photos! After the wedding, she sent us the script for our ceremony, which meant the world to us because we did not have a videographer. This is something that will help us remember our ceremony and how special it truly was. She also handled mailing in our marriage license--I did not have any stress over the handling of paperwork as she took care of it for us!
