Happy Cardinal Catering

We were beyond thrilled with our experience with Happy Cardinal. John and Carolyn are exceptional at what they do. We met with many caterers who said our idea of family style barbecue and fried chicken were unreasonable. Upon meeting with Happy Cardinal for our first tasting, we were immediately put as ease with their warmth and openness. These guys not only said yes where others said no, they cleverly solved the practical challenges our plan presented. They even helped us save money in the process with their seasoned knowledge of event planning. Chef John really listened to our vision and delivered an incredible southern feast for our wedding of 150, which our guests RAVED about. He was adaptable and innovative, coming up with great vegetarian options and expanding his rep to include a jerk chicken appetizer, a family favorite. While John delivered on quality food, Carolyn was our point person who presented us with solutions to logistical situations we would never have thought of. She was incredibly responsive to all communication, easy to work with and very professional. Everyone at HCC went above and beyond in the planning and execution of our event. When it came time for the big day they brought an incredible staff who were so on top of everything we could glide through the event without worrying about a thing. We worked with many vendors to make our wedding happen and working with these guys was among the easiest and most enjoyable parts of our planning process. Obviously we highly recommend them!
