About this vendor
Welcome! We are Happy Hen Gardens, a small family farm operating on two beautiful acres in Aurora, Oregon. We grow unique and specialty blooms using organic practices & with the use of high-quality seed, tubers, soil, and love, of course. Come and walk our fields and see the range of colors and varieties, which include annuals like valkyrie asters, benary's giant zinnias, madame butterfly snapdragons, and lisianthus, and perennials like peonies, roses, and over 60 dahlia varieties.
We have a range of options for the customer to meet all budgets. For the DIY enthusiast, we have U-Pick flowers which can be hand-selected. We also offer buckets of blooms, which we pick, and the customer can arrange. For the hands-off customer, we can take care of the bridal bouquets, boutonnières, arches, centerpieces & table arrangements from start to finish, including delivery & set-up. At this time we do not do hanging arrangements or strings of flowers or garland.
Wondering what might set us apart from other florists? Fragrance! We grow all of our flowers and foliage here on our farm and when these stems are fresh picked, they are healthy, vibrant and many of our stems are fragrant! Ask us about specialty scented blooms & foliage if you'd like your event space filled with gorgeous fragrance!
You are welcome to visit our farm and walk the flower field to get an idea of what we grow. Many brides and grooms like the opportunity to pick out the blooms that speak to them, and we work together on a plan. A 30-minute in-person consultation is included with every order.
This is our fifth season of supplying our community with gorgeous blooms. We hope to meet you soon!
Happy Hen Gardens is a farmer-florist based in Aurora, Oregon.

for bright, colorful flowers for our 4th of July wedding.
We asked her to create our bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, and several medium-sized arrangements, as well as provide flower stems for our table décor so we could create our own pint jar and bud vase arrangements. Michelle invited us to visit her farm, where we reviewed the flowers we wanted to include for our special day and discussed the overall look we hoped to achieve.
The flowers were exactly what we requested, and everything turned out absolutely beautiful. The colors, quality, and freshness of the flowers exceeded our expectations and added so much to our wedding day. Michelle was wonderful to work with, attentive to detail, and genuinely invested in making sure everything was perfect.
We highly recommend Happy Hen Gardens to anyone looking for stunning, locally grown flowers and exceptional customer service!

hone call to talk through my vision and needs for wedding florals. Then she invited me to come a few weeks before the wedding to walk through the garden with her. She showed me what was in bloom and let me pick out the flowers and colors I liked best and assembled a sample bouquet. The one thing that wasn’t blooming in her garden were roses, which she went out of her way to purchase and add to the day-of bouquets. I absolutely adored my flowers and got so many compliments on the unique colors and textures. She also did an arrangement for a cross at the altar that had the most beautiful movement in the breeze during our ceremony. I even requested an additional bouquet a few weeks later for a waterfall bridal photoshoot. If you are looking for a local, custom, full-service florist that will make your creative vision come to life, look no further! Michelle is your gal at Happy Hen Gardens.

had a florist for our bouquets, swags, etc. and she had no concerns about matching the colors and floral style. Michelle sat down with us a few weeks before our wedding and went over what we did and didn't like from her options, creating a mock bouquet. The real bouquets were just as lovely!
