Where to start with Dana - simply put our wedding wouldn’t have been possible or as amazing without her. My husbands mom was very sick with cancer for the two years we were engaged...
so planning wasn’t a major priority as we didn’t know if we would just elope. Just a few months before our wedding she passed and we realized we were pretty lost and behind in the planning. Dana without hesitation and an overwhelming amount of compassion jumped in full force to save us.
Dana was the biggest blessing for our wedding. From the first call to the last minute of our wedding, she completely took over and went WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND!! There were many calls we just chatted like we were friends which is one thing I miss post wedding!!
With all her experience in the Delaware area she provided so many wonderful vendors and tips we didn’t know we needed. On the day of, her and her assistant gave us such a peace of mind so I didn’t worry about a single thing. If there was a problem she handled it with grace. All of our guest said how wonderful she was to them when they had questions. She truly felt like family to us and when we said our final goodbye the night of both my groom and I were emotional to say the least.
If you’re looking for a planner who goes way above what is expected, is compassionate towards your unique situation and treats you like you’re her only client when her workload is completely full… Dana is the coordinator you should book!! She was one of the best memories of our day. My husband and I will forever be so grateful for her making sure our wedding was EVERYTHING AND MORE than we expected. She is also going to be stuck as our friend forever!! 💙
Dana and Jen were amazing from start to finish! From the first email I sent, until the wedding day, Dana was in constant communication with me.

t communication was important to us. We met face to face a couple times to go over our vision and details. She was able to give us tips and pointers that I would have otherwise never known. She even went out of her way to pick up sea shells for me the week before.
Jen, her assistant, was our coordinator on the day of. We did a walk through and she was very detail oriented, making sure everything we wanted happened!
BONUS - On our wedding day, we forgot the juice for our signature drink and forgot the s'mores for our s'mores bar. She was on it! She ran out to the store for the things we needed. She even made our signature cocktail (Orange Crush) , which was a huge hit. Even though we didn't need another batch, she offered to run to the liquor store to get more when it got low - how awesome is that!?
These ladies went above and beyond for us! You will NOT be disappointed! Thank you Dana and Jen! It was the perfect wedding day!
Dana and her team at Happy Hour Events did an absolutely amazing job coordinating and executing our wedding weekend in Bethany Beach. Dana was instrumental throughout the wedding p...
lanning process, whether she was recommending (amazing) local vendors, expertly managing logistics, or simply serving as my sounding board for ideas, inspiration, and advice. As an out-of-town bride, I know for a fact that my wedding weekend would not have been possible without Dana's expertise and support. On the day of our wedding, Dana had everything covered and she and Jen were immensely helpful throughout our ceremony and reception. When the weather forecast predicted a huge storm heading towards our (tented) reception, Dana and Jen literally saved the day. They carefully tracked the storm and provided my husband and I with periodic updates, which allowed us to fully enjoy our reception despite the potentially stressful situation at hand. When the storm hit, they made sure all of our guests were safely loaded onto shuttles and ensured every single piece of reception decor was removed from the tent and safely stored indoors before they took cover themselves. If that's not going above and beyond, I don't know what is! Five stars doesn't even come close to doing Dana justice. We couldn't recommend Happy Hour Events more highly!
