We had our wedding reception aboard The Triumphant with Harbor Breeze Cruises and could not have asked for a better experience. Kim was responsive and organized throughout the planning process, and she consistently made us feel like she genuinely wanted to help us create the reception we had envisioned. One of the things we appreciated most was that Kim didn't just give us a list of what was and wasn't possible. When something we wanted wasn't a standard option, she would work with us to find a solution. For example, we needed somewhere to keep our desserts chilled before the reception, and Kim was able to make room for them in the dock fridge. We also wanted unique his-and-hers drinks, and she worked with the catering team to figure out which of our ideas they could accommodate. She also went out of her way to help us get The Triumphant at the specific time we wanted so that our reception would line up with sunset, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the evening. The layout of The Triumphant was especially well suited to the type of reception we wanted. We were looking for more of a mingling and cocktail-hour-style atmosphere rather than a traditional sit-down wedding, and the smaller tables and open areas worked really well for that. Our guests were able to move around, mingle, enjoy the views, and spend plenty of time dancing. The atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for, and the sunset made the evening even more beautiful. The crew also went above and beyond in little ways throughout the evening. At sunset, my husband and I were outside taking wedding portraits when the captain noticed we were trying to get photos with the lighthouse in the background. He patiently adjusted the boat so we could get the shot we wanted, which ended up making for some of our favorite photos from the evening. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really added to the experience. The day itself was so easy for us because we knew everything was taken care of. We arrived and everything was ready to go, so we could focus on spending time with our family and friends instead of worrying about logistics. The food and drinks were great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and our guests had an amazing time. We would especially recommend Kim to couples looking for a smaller, unique wedding celebration. We wanted something that felt different from a traditional wedding venue but was still accessible for our family and friends who live locally, and having our reception on the water was exactly what we were looking for. We are so grateful to Kim for all of her help and for making the entire experience so enjoyable!

A Truly Exceptional Experience with Harbor Breeze Cruises I want to start by thanking Kevin Lorton, who has been my main point of contact throughout planning my brother’s wedding renewal. As the wedding coordinator, I had a lot of questions, requests, and last-minute thoughts—and Kevin was incredibly patient with every single one. From arranging a tour of the boat, to responding quickly to my texts, to always making himself available (and promptly getting back to me if he wasn’t), Kevin provided nothing but excellent service. He was courteous, pleasant, professional, and truly a joy to work with. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients’ experiences. Kevin also introduced me to Kim Spucces, who was on deck the day of the event, and she was absolutely phenomenal. Whatever I needed, she handled with ease. She checked in with me often, made sure everything was running smoothly, and offered help before I even had to ask. Her professionalism and kindness were exactly what you want in a team during such an important event. I also want to acknowledge the rest of the staff—from the bartenders to the catering team from Gladstones. I feel bad I didn’t get all their names, because every single one of them delivered outstanding service. And the food? Hands down some of the best—our guests are still raving about it. From start to finish, Harbor Breeze Cruises exceeded every expectation. I couldn’t have asked for a better team, smoother experience, or more beautiful celebration. Would I recommend them?
