Harbor String Quartet has served events in the Hampton Roads and Tidewater communities for more than a quarter-century. The sole string quartet registered and funded by the Virginia Commission for the Arts, this ensemble was established in 1997 by Virginia Symphony Orchestra members. Each of these classically trained musicians has extensive experience performing as part of a quartet.
Harbor String Quartet has a large and diverse repertoire of music to draw on, with more than 600 choices available for your special day. With a catalog that includes Bach, John Williams, Taylor Swift, and many more, this group can meet varied tastes. They also offer to create a new arrangement to satisfy your taste and style.

was magnificent and the acoustics in the historical church really made our guests melt. It was beautiful. Allegra at Harbor String Quartet was a breeze to work with. She truly worked with me as I had difficulty coordinating our wedding in one month. Considering my husband was away (military) she was willing to work with us through e-mail which made it very convenient. As a surprise to me on the wedding day, my husband requested a Cold Play song played after the Recessional. Harbor String's repertoire is amazing and they were able to accommodate his request on the spot.
