I could not have imagined my wedding taking place anywhere other than Hardy Farm. My husband, myself, and all of our family and friends had an amazing time on our wedding weekend, and that is in no small part thanks to Hardy. One of my favorite parts of this venue was that we had access to the site from Thursday to Sunday, with plenty of room for our immediate families and bridal party to stay with us. We were able to host our rehearsal dinner in the barn, a welcome party in the back patio/gardens, and used the woodland chapel, patio and tent spaces on the big day. The property is beautifully maintained and has everything you could think of needing to host your closest family and friends. Both the Farmhouse and Little Chatham Lodge are charming, spacious, and so well thought out/decorated. Not to mention there is so much to do in the area, such as hiking, we spent a day on the Saco river, and North Conway right near by. With North Conway just 15 min away, and several small Inns and Airbnbs in Fryeburg, there were plenty of places for guests to stay.
Deborah and Greg and lovely to work with, always happy to hop on a call and answer questions. They were available throughout the planning process and so quick to respond when we needed anything during the wedding weekend. I highly recommend choosing from their preferred vendors, especially for catering and DJ. The venue is unique and it helped to have vendors who were familiar with the property and made the day seamless. They do have a fair amount of particular rules that need to be followed, and some tedious paperwork to be filled out prior to the weekend. But their thoroughness is a good thing, because it results in a nicely organized weekend for you, your guests, and all vendors involved and keeps you stress free knowing that everything has been planned ahead of time.
If you are on the fence about this venue, schedule a visit with them. As soon as you are on the property you will realize how special a place it is. I cannot recommend Hardy Farm enough.

This 17th-century property was granted to the Hardy family by the King of England. As a working farm, it remained in the family for generations. In 2002, Greg and Deborah Link purchased the property, and it is now a destination venue in the beautiful state of Maine. Tie the knot in the woodland chapel under a beautiful handcrafted arbor, with majestic pine trees as your backdrop. On gorgeous New England evenings, guests can enjoy the reception meal under the expansive tent, surrounded by natural beauty. Pose for photos with your beloved in the seasonal flower gardens, which feature stone patios and fire pits. After acquiring a picturesque and historic 18th century farmhouse and operating it as a B&B for eleven years, we renovated our barn and converted Hardy Farm into a dedicated wedding venue in 2013. Now after another eleven years, our critical eye, attention to detail, and passion for quality and value has stood us well. Today, after having hosting over 350 weddings, each uniquely beautiful and memorable, we consider ourselves very blessed to share those memories with our couples by owning and operating one of Maine's most popular wedding venues.

The owners, Deb & Greg, were such a pleasure to work with. Their warmth and dedication set the tone for the whole experience. The property is stunning and so thoughtfully maintained, with different spaces that gave each part of the weekend its own feel between the barn, the patio, the tent, and the lodge. We had everything we could have possibly needed. Beyond the big celebrations, the quiet moments stand out the most. Sharing coffee in the morning, sitting around the fire at night, walking through the gardens. It was the perfect way to bring our two families together in a way that felt deeply meaningful, and it allowed us the chance to pause and take it all in.
The heart of the whole weekend though was Sierra. If you do book your wedding at Hardy Farm - immediately hire Sierra as your day of coordinator if she is available. She had every detail perfectly managed while somehow still being everywhere at once and always making sure we were taken care of. Her steady presence and thoughtfulness allowed us to let go of stress and focus on celebrating with our friends & family - which she quickly became a part of. We are endlessly grateful for everything she did to make our weekend so special!
From start to finish, we felt supported not just by the venue but by the people behind it. Hardy Farm gave us the space to celebrate in big ways and connect in quiet ones, and that balance made it unforgettable.

e on the phone the same day to talk about the venue and answered all my questions and I immediately knew this was the right place for us. They were so easy to work with all the way through and I felt great working with the vendors they recommended. The venue itself is gorgeous - it's right at the foot of the White Mountains, so there were plenty of places for our guests to stay and lots of things for them to do. The gardens around the site are fantastic - our families absolutely loved all the flowers. There was enough room for our families to stay on site, and the venue just works well for all of the events we hosted. We loved having the rehearsal dinner in the barn and drinks on the patio/back garden, ceremony in the gorgeous woodland chapel, reception in the tent, dancing in the barn, and after party in the Lodge. The family-owned and operated vibe worked really well, and added to making the wedding feel really special. We can't recommend Hardy Farm enough!

the farmhouse, lodge, tent, and barn before and after your wedding. Many of the other venues we toured had pretty outdoor scenery but lacked decent options for indoors in case of inclement weather. The interior of the barn was stunning, and we would not have been disappointed having an indoor wedding in case of rain.
Greg & Deborah were both very responsive and accommodating from the moment we first inquired with them, to answering questions throughout the weeks leading up to our wedding, and even after. We cannot say enough great things about how seamless they made the entire process.
All of the staff we met that helped setup and orchestrate things were incredibly friend and down to earth (especially Sierra!). The day of our wedding was very low stress because everything had been set up exactly how we had requested it in our meeting weeks prior.
We are so grateful we were able to get married in the venue of our dreams, and even happier with our entire Hardy Farm experience.

yone was helpful and the space was beautiful! It offers a unique experience because you book all of the spaces for the whole weekend - which means you almost never have to leave the property if you are staying on site.
Having the venue from Thursday- Sunday made all of the decorating and last minute touches so easy. It was great that the whole wedding party was able to stay on site between the farmhouse and the lodge. It made prepping for the wedding so smooth and we were able to hang out in the downtime. Even just having dinner together at the big dinner table or making s’mores at the fire pit just made the experience feel more family oriented and special. There are enough rooms that we were also able to spread out and have some privacy.
All of the spaces are beautiful, but The Barn was a perfect multifunctional space for our weekend full of events. We used it to its fullest potential by having the rehearsal dinner, the welcome part, photos and dessert/dancing all in the barn. The patio and fireplaces were also a big hit for the welcome party, cocktail hour and the bridal party’s s’mores! With all of the options of set ups, you could have 10 different weddings there and none would be the same.
It should also be said that the landscaping is incredible! When we arrived, the farmhouse was decorated with tasteful fall plants and pumpkins outside. It was enough to set the perfect New England Fall vibe without being too much or clashing with any of the wedding decor. The gardens are the real star of the show with the biggest dahlias I have ever seen! The bridesmaids/bride used that for photos, but many guests took photos as well.
Sierra, the property manager, was so helpful and sweet. She worked with me directly so we didn’t have to worry the bride with anything during the weekend. All of the vendors came off the suggested vendor list too, so they were familiar with the property.
The cherry on top was the horseshoes in the barn that each couple that gets married on properly signs. We spent a lot of time looking at the other weddings that took place and our couple signed theirs right before we left on Sunday. It was the perfect way to wrap up the weekend!

Renting the property for the entire long weekend was a huge selling point for us. It was so nice to have everyone close to us on the property and not have to travel anywhere. The barn was perfect for hosting a group dinner on Thursday night, the rehearsal dinner and karaoke on Friday night, and a farewell breakfast on Sunday. We absolutely loved the venue, especially the barn, which was also a beautiful shelter for our cocktail hour when it started raining on Saturday afternoon. It truly saved the day and added a cozy charm to our celebration.
The house is VERY well stocked with everything you would need—serving platters, vases, plenty of glassware, and even an ice maker, which our group was thrilled about for filling coolers and making drinks. The apartment was the perfect area for the bridal party to get ready on the wedding morning.
Our onsite contact, Jack, was great and easy to work with. All of the vendors we used from their preferred vendor list were terrific. We loved our time there, and it was the perfect venue for us to hold a fun, meaningful, and relaxing wedding celebration weekend.
Overall, we had an incredible experience, and we highly recommend your venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and accommodating wedding location. They are booked quite far out, so book it TODAY!

ys. Everything about Hardy Farm is stunning - from the spacious and cozy Farmhouse, to the mountain Lodge, to the woodsy outdoor spaces, and the rustic and bright Barn. It is quintessential Maine at its finest. We held our ceremony and reception in the Barn, which was so intimate and warm and fit everyone perfectly (including our dog, which was so special). The ability to stay on the property for a long weekend with our families and wedding party was invaluable and allowed for so much more quality time spent together than would be possible at other venues. We were able to take our time setting up and really utilize the space in a way that worked best for us. We chose all of our own vendors and made all of the decisions for how we wanted our wedding to look and flow, which was a priority for us when searching for a venue. Greg and Deborah care deeply about the property and take great pride in all that Hardy Farm offers its couples. They are responsive and extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the property, which was so helpful in planning some of the specific logistics with other vendors. There was a great deal of communication with them right up until the wedding to ensure that the venue was set up exactly how we wanted. Our day was everything we dreamed it would be, which was due in large part to this venue. I cannot recommend Hardy Farm highly enough!

oodsy vibe we wanted with the elegance of facilities. This is not a big corporate wedding vibe- planning with the owners is personal and they are so kind and responsive. The venue has some quirks like funky bathrooms but it all worked out. We loved hosting our rehearsal and a casual Sunday breakfast on property. It was truly a beautiful weekend and we’re so grateful we chose hardy!! We kept saying “this is our favorite wedding and venue we’ve ever been too!!”

What you're able to have in your wedding weekend (we booked Thurs to Sun) is almost like getting an all-inclusive vacation. We had use of the different properties, lawn games, sail tent for our reception, farm table/ chairs, wooden bars for service- I mean, they're almost a full one-stop-shop! And not to mention how freakin' beautiful the area is, how intimate the area is, and how close of a distance (approx 15 minutes) North Conway is. Not to mention being able to make our special day permanent by signing the barn beams with a horseshoe (such a cool idea) and our names. Seriously- check them out!

We got to spend more time with our wedding parties and families that stayed on property with us and made memories that we wouldn't have been able to if we weren't able to stay together. All of the accommodations were so comfortable and we really felt like the space was OURS for the whole weekend.
Another benefit to having the venue for a longer period was it took a huge amount of stress off of us being able to set things up at our own pace and make sure everything was the way we wanted.
Planning a wedding during COVID was extremely stressful and we were so worried about the impact it would have on our day. Greg and Deborah were so helpful in talking us through all of the regulations and steps that we felt comfortable moving forward. By the time our wedding rolled around most restrictions were lifted but we felt so good about going in prepared. Deb and Greg also gave us really great vendor recommendations as well and answered ALL of my numerous (sometimes silly) questions via email and phone. They were simply the best to work with.
On the day of, there was a coordinator from the property there to make sure everything with the property ran smoothly, which was great. They worked with our day of coordinator and everything was super smooth.
Overall this venue is truly a Maine wedding dream - the barn - the woodland chapel - and the tent, all just simply incredible. We love that this is the place we chose to begin our lives together. Thank you, Hardy Farm, Greg, and Deborah!

tally sold on having a full blown wedding, but I got goosebumps of excitement walking around the chandelier lit barn, and couldn’t imagine not getting married there. Despite all the stress and worry this past year caused with Covid-19, Deborah and Greg (the owners), kept us fully informed on the constantly changing state guidelines, were incredibly communicative, flexible, and accommodating and even allowed us to move our date up so we could safely accommodate all of our guests outdoors. Our dream fall wedding completely came to life, and made full use of the gorgeous property (wooden chapel, sail cloth tent, gardens, patio, and white antique barn). Despite having to slightly alter our plans, it turned out so much better than we could have imagined. We had family and bridal party stay onsite in the farmhouse and lodge, and everyone raved all weekend about how comfortably they slept, and how fun it was to stay all together. All of our vendors and Hardy Farm staff were very thorough with the Covid-19 safety regulations with minimal impact on the weekend events. Hardy Farm is such a special place and we will always remember our dreamy wedding weekend. This place is just beautiful and pictures do not do it justice. We cannot recommend this place enough!!

The one word that keeps coming to mind when I think about the Hardy Farm and our wedding is 'MAGICAL'. Absolutely everything about the property was so unbelievably perfect for us. ...
We booked there over a year and half ago when there was about 2ft of snow on the ground and even though we were planning to have a summer wedding, we knew without any doubt, that was the right place for us. We wanted to get married in the White Mountains with an outdoor ceremony in the woods, a reception in a barn (I have been a horse girl my whole life), and a place where we could have a getaway for our closet friends and family for the days leading up to the wedding. We couldn't believe a place like this existed. All of our guests that stayed on the property with us were blown away by the character, charm, and the fact that we had the entire place to ourselves for 4 days to relax, enjoy the fire pit and enjoy each other's company. The whitewashed barn adds so much unique elegance, and it was fun to see it transform from a more laid back look for the rehearsal dinner to a totally sophisticated and polished look for the reception. I honestly cannot say enough about how special this place is to us and writing our names in our own horseshoe at the end of an amazing stay was the perfect ending to our magical wedding at the Hardy Farm.

d even have many of the guest stay comfortably and enjoy the beautiful venues rooms. It was a great location and I recommend every bride should have a weekend wedding here. Thanks Greg and Deborah for being great hosts!

We booked Hardy Farm site unseen in March 2016, and it DID NOT disappoint! Planning a wedding in Maine from New Jersey certainly had its challenges, but none of that really matter...
ed once we booked with Hardy Farm. The property lends itself to those seeking an elegant yet jovial family affair, allowing its guests to rent for a whole four day period during which time you can use the property to host an array of events. It's the best bang for your buck as far as the Maine destination wedding scene goes, and not a single one of our guests who stayed on the property (because between the Farmhouse and the Lodge, 5 minutes apart, you can host up to 32 people) did not fall in love with this place. It was like being in a fairytale. The owners are extremely prompt and patient, answering all of our questions right away and even answering questions we had already asked earlier in the process. They truly care about their property and their couples' satisfaction, doing everything they can to make sure everyone has a wonderful experience. A special shout out to their property caretakers, Sue and Bobbi Jo, who were just phenomenal the whole weekend of our wedding. We utilized every single space the property had to offer; on Friday night we had a lobster bake in the tent, and for our wedding on Saturday our ceremony and first look took place in the woods, cocktail hour and dancing in the barn, and dinner in the tent. Our guests still talk about what a beautiful place Hardy Farm is and how much fun they had exploring the property. We put all of our friends up in the rooms between the two properties, and they were so appreciative not to have to travel after the wedding ended! We would get married there all over again if we could!

Greg and Deborah clearly take great pride in their venue, and it shows. They were accommodating, prompt, and terrific people.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. I can't say enough good things about Hardy Farm. If I could re-live that day, I would. It truly was a fairy tale.

s immaculate and each room has it's own charm. The barn fit 85 of us comfortably and the ceremony site (outdoor chapel) was stunning.
Deborah and Greg were prompt and responsive via email and answered all of our millions of questions without judgment or hesitation.
I highly recommend this place and have even convinced one of our friends to book this venue for their wedding.

Mu husband and I just got married at Hardy farm this past Labor Day weekend and everything was perfect! We rented the farmhouse from Thursday - Monday for family that traveled form...
Pennsylvania and rented to lodge Friday - Sunday for our bridal party. We both felt relaxed and cherished all the memories that we created while at Hardy Farm. The rooms were lovely, the grounds were in great shape. Everything was clean upon our arrival, we felt at home. I would highly recommend renting the property for a long weekend. It was so nice not having to clean up and travel the next day after the weeding. Instead we had a nice brunch and spent that Sunday playing yard games, provided by Hardy Farm. Sue, the caretaker, was very informative and very nice to interact with. The owners, Greg and Deborah, were very helpful and informative throughout the planning process. We hired Ashley Link, from Ashley Link Events, along with her partner Steve Salmeri as our day of coordinators/bar tenders. Our wedding would not have been so perfect had it not been for them! All our guests loved the intimate setting of the farm. We had our rehearsal dinner in the barn, with a cocktail hour on the patio. We had our wedding outside in the Woodland Chapel, cocktail hour in the barn and dinner/dancing in the tent to accommodate our 125 guests. Our wedding was more than we every dreamed it could be! Thank you to everyone who helped making our day so special!!

Hardy Farm was an amazing place to get married. From the very beginning to the very end, Deborah and Greg were available and prompt about answering our questions. Hardy Farm itself...
was left exceptionally clean and ready to use. We especially like the option to rent the farmhouse, barn and lodge for days before our wedding. It made for a nice wedding weekend (Thursday - Sunday) with our friends and family. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner in the barn and use the lodge as a place to hang out the evening before. The lodge has a great pool table, dartboard, card table, bar set up, and hot tub. Our wedding party and family were able to stay in either the barn or the lodge and were very comfortable.
As for the venue itself, it is beautiful! We had our wedding in the Woodland Chapel (an area that is surrounded by trees- very intimate setting). If it was raining, we would have had it in the barn, which is beautiful as well. The tent was large and the perfect place for dinner. The barn was a beautiful setting for dancing and our cocktail party.
Deborah and Greg are organized, helpful, kind owners. They offered suggestions and made sure we had everything we needed. We were very impressed
We had many compliments about our venue from family and friends. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice in Hardy Farm.

our wedding party and parents all weekend. Our ceremony was in the garden, with cocktail hour on the patio. For dinner we used the tent and Hardy Farm's beautiful tables and chairs. We had our first dance in the barn which was really magical and unexpected to guests who had no idea where we were going to dance! We danced the night away there, had a cigar bar on the patio, and photobooth in the mezzanine of the barn. It felt like the perfect layout for us and our 145 guests! Deborah and Greg were so responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding, and the caretaker Sue was great to have around and so sweet! We couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue for us and are so pleased with how everything turned out! Thank you Hardy Farm!

e a review of our experiences there when we were married. See, my husband and I were married in a destination wedding at the venue back on 9/25/09 when the venue was known as the Peace With-Inn. We were the first couple to get married at the inn and set the wheels in motion for the owners to venture into the wedding business, transforming the location into a premiere wedding destination. We are the happy and grateful couple whose names adorn the main horseshoe in the Barn, where a horseshoe is placed and then signed by each couple who marries at Hardy Farm.
At the time we were married in 2009, marrying at the inn was new, so there was no precedent set for how everything should take shape. As a result, we had to rely on the owners tremendously to help us with planning the actual wedding ceremony and the reception following. At that time, the Barn did not exist as it does now nor did the tent and the outdoor ‘sanctuary’ exist so we were married in the garden area right off the patio and had a tent constructed for the reception. The day was nothing less than perfect and still to this day, six years later, our guests talk about the wonderful time they had. We cannot express how grateful we were and still are for the owner's help and assistance in making our day perfect. They were extremely responsive to our inquiries and provided helpful suggestions for florists, caterers, tent/chair vendors, etc. Living in Pittsburgh and planning a wedding in Fryeburg Maine was no easy feat, so the owners were critical in making our day absolutely perfect, both in the planning and in the day-of execution of the wedding. Our wedding party and guests occupied both the main inn and The Lodge during the wedding weekend and the hospitality was unparalleled. The wedding day and weekend was so peaceful and relaxing thanks to their hard work in making sure all was executed as we had wished.
Not only do we want to thank the owners for making our wedding day unforgettable but we also would like to send a big congratulations to them for transforming the beautiful Peace With-Inn into the even more beautiful Hardy Farm – a place that everyone should be lucky enough to be married!
