This unique destination offers a secluded haven in the heart of Maryland's renowned My Lady's Manor horse country, ideally situated 40 minutes north of Baltimore and 90 minutes from Washington, DC. Harford Hill hosts a select number of gatherings each year and the ability to include overnight accommodations for up to 24 guests, ensuring an unparalleled level of privacy and personalization.
Nestled on 250 acres of bucolic countryside, Harford Hill offers sweeping views, sprawling grounds, an enchanted pond, and a landmarked country estate. Guests are treated to a breathtaking arrival, enveloped by ancient oak and maple trees, along its quarter-mile drive. The Manor House is prominently situated in the heart of the property and offers the perfect backdrop to endless design palettes.
The expansive grounds offer exceptional flexibility with both indoor and outdoor venue options. Guests often utilize the entire property and include overnight accommodations to create a complete and cohesive multi-day wedding experience. Event locations at Harford Hill include a 4,000 square-foot barn featuring wide plank oak floors, vaulted ceilings, and exposed beams. The interior allows for complete customization to suit your unique vision - from clean and modern to romantic and classic. A dramatic spiral staircase in the barn's stone turret leads to a secluded lounge area to allow for additional seating, a dedicated dance floor, or the perfect after-party venue with room for a band or DJ.
Open-air spaces include the Copper Beech Tree Lawn, where couples may exchange vows amidst our iconic 200-year-old Copper Beech tree. With rich burgundy leaves that bloom yellow-green flowers in April and May, this majestic tree turns a vibrant copper in the Fall, offering a stunning backdrop for any event.
Private and secluded, the property's enchanting pond offers spectacular 360-degree vistas of the serene landscape. Featuring a peninsula for unique photo and event opportunities, guests are immersed in the natural surroundings.
For a seamless transition from the evening’s festivities to a quiet morning overlooking the pastures, The Manor House and Guest Cottage sleep up to 24 guests for the ultimate wedding weekend experience. Welcome your guests on Friday. Celebrate on Saturday. Enjoy a farewell brunch on Sunday - all in unique locations on the property surrounded by rolling countryside, historic architecture, and complete privacy.
