Haring Photography

Our wonderful wedding celebration was half a year ago. We have recently received the pictures, and we feel incredibly fortunate that Otto was our photographer. Many of the shots are honestly worthy of placement in a bridal magazine. Otto was extremely professional throughout the entire engagement and wedding experience. Our daughter had an engagement shoot, and he managed to take amazing shots. We, as the parents, were so proud to show our friends and relatives the photographs that were taken. In fact, all the way through, the wedding experience with Otto was seamless. Otto Haring photography was one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding planning process.

Otto is the best photographer! He is so warm, kind & funny! He will put you at ease & works tirelessly to get the best shots all while not obstructing any parting/celebrating! Highly recommend!

Otto is definitely not lazy! He went through the entire timeline of the wedding with me on a call before the wedding, and makes sure he knows what's going on. He lets you know ahead of time what will help him capture good shots, so you can make sure you get what you want. He went above and beyond, running around, enduring the heat and dealing with a jam packed schedule to make sure he got every single picture possible! He also makes you feel calm during a very hectic day. We loved working with him, and can't wait to see all our pictures.

After doing much research for a photographer, I found Otto. Right from the start and until the end he answered any of my questions or concerns quickly. He was very honest. At our wedding, his presence was very calming, professional and above all a delight. My husband and I are very happy with Otto’s work. Weddings can be stressful but there wasn't a time where i was worried or stressed with him. He was always on time and the photos turned out well. I have already recommended him to my friends and will continue to! Thank you Otto!

Where do I begin with the Amazing Otto Haring? After so much research, we met with 3 photographers, Otto won our hearts over. Our 30 minute quick meet-up turned into an almost 3-hour long meeting. We really got to know Otto and his passion, and he really got to know us very well too. We were already sold on his portfolio, he is extremely talented and his photos speak for themselves, but after that meeting we knew we were not going with anyone else. Otto was a complete and total ROCKSTAR the day of the wedding. He was so quick, efficient, got all the shots before people even asked for him, he was one step ahead and knew how to get people to pose quickly without annoying them or taking too long. I had a lot of guests ask me if we even had a photographer, he was a fly on the wall, but every time I looked over to my side because a relative or friend wanted a photo with me, he would just give me a thumbs up and he was already taking the shot. It was an amazing experience to have him as our photographer, I've been to weddings where they are on top of the bride and groom and kind of ruin the experience, his approach is "photojournalistic" so he takes candid shots, and this is what worked for my fiance and I. Otto was so sweet and professional, everyone loved him and I can't wait to see the results of his magical work!

What to say about Priscilla and Otto Haring? Words cannot describe how happy we are with making the decision of going with them as our wedding/engagement photographers. To start, both Priscilla and Otto were extremely professional, passionate, and incredibly creative! We truly do believe they are the best at what they do. Although we only got to spend a short period of time with them, a couple of days were enough to see how great they are! For our engagement pictures, Priscilla flew up to Boston to take some AMAZING pictures. She literally spent the whole day with us. Not only did we get some great photographs out of our shoot but we also got to spend time with such a nice person. Our wedding was a destination wedding in the Florida Keys so some of our family and friends could not make it. However, numerous emotions were captured within the photos and I’m sure once we send these to our family in Brazil that they will feel as if they were there. They made our wedding day truly impeccable and unforgettable! Granted, there are plenty of photographers out there that take good pictures, but not all of them are as caring, passionate, and as creative as both Priscilla and Otto are! Thank you so much Priscilla and Otto you guys are THE BEST!

Thank you for an amazing day. Photos were nicely edited and we have had many compliments. We like more or a natural style with some poses. They were such a performance fit for us. They travel a lot and are in high demand so it can be hard to reach them at times but worth the wait.

Their style is to make sure you look beautiful but natural you on your special day. So many photographers have a tendency to overexpose and bleach out photos, an easy way for them to make you look better, I guess. They photos look great without the fake bleach treatment. Our wedding venue was in a remote island. Although they were unfamiliar with our out of town location they scouted them before the wedding, and found thei own locations. They explained to us why his locations would give us the style of pictures we wanted. We completely trusted him, and they were totally right. They were a great help! Thanks so much!

With so many photographers out there just starting out I was so happy to find them! I liked how personal and professional they were. I am more that happy to share my experience. The photos took awhile to be delivered but they were chosen with care and caught our day and the feeling of it so touchingly. Beautiful images. They were very polite and full of smiles. They were one of the best things about our day.Sadly it had rained.:(

Writing a review is a pleasure! I highly recommend them. They were very patient on the day, positive and professional. Everyone noted how hard they worked and how personal they were. My family is very high profile. We needed people that could the job and put everyone at ease. There were many famous people at our wedding and everyone was very impressed. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE Luckily my husband is a photographer so I just trusted him to make the best decision. Some brides may not have done that. lol I understand why he chose them. They are creative, reliable and super down to earth. I loved their portraits and candid moments. There are many different types of photographers out there, but they suited our critical tastes. My husband felt that solid coverage in every aspect of the wedding is important and I now agree -they did that !

BEAUTIFUL! We loved their work! We were trying to find a photographer that captures the natural moments and not all of the fake posing crap that you always see. Having said that, we did appreciate the several posed portraits that we did together. The photos are a nice blend of artistic and natural which was our style. I hate stand and smiling in the camera in a fake way. As a groom that was what worried me the most. I like that my now wife looked real and not fake. We talked at length about our vision and they nailed it! Took awhile to see the photos, but it was worth it. We are a fun relaxed couple with no pretenses and they fit our personalities. If you just want posing I would go for their film images. It was hard to impress me, but I was impressed.

PROFESSIONAL - ARTISTIC - REALISTIC If you you are looking for photojournalistic and artistic this is the couple for you! I loved that they kept the posing to minimal, which I requested so that our real day could come through! I also loved the artistic photos that they delivered. They worked so nicely together. It was a very professional experience! They are so nice and really listened to what we wanted and then took the lead.

I just wanted to leave a review for a fabulous team. Thank you for all of your hard work and planning. Everyone has flattered us on your photos and we simply could not be happy enough. They are a husband and wife team. I flew the wife to Boston for my engagement session and the pictures were amazing. We have had so many compliments. She spent so much time making sure everything was perfect. Both of them were there for the wedding and they made the day so much fun.

Awesome! I cannot say how happy were are with the photographs. We chose their vintage classic photo coverage and they are magnificent. Just as good as Jose Villa which is the look we were after and a fraction of the cost. Love this couple!

Well worth the wait! I had to wait a long time which for me is hard because I am impatient! The photos were so wonderful and worth everyone bugging about when I would get them. Images are emotional, real. They make me laugh and cry just looking at them. Otto and Priscilla were very nice to my parents which meant a lot beside just doing an amazing job.

I just received my wedding photographs. They are AMAZING! I cannot express enough how happy I was with their services. They are such a talented couple. I truly hired the best. I dont think anyone could have done a better job. They are such nice people too! They captured so many real moments and then took a classic photo which we are going to frame. I highly recommend them.

I got married 1 year ago and my husband and I pulled out our pictures again. I have to stay that I am still moved by their work and the moments of authencity that they captured. I was recommended by a co worker to hire them and I cannot tell enough how fantastic the experience was. They are both so pleasurable and caring. I relied on them for how to get the best pictures. They travel a lot so you have to book them in advance.

It was an interesting experience to say the least! Otto and Priscilla agreed on the date and sent me their contract. When I opened the contract I found a wrong name, our date was wrong, and our venue was wrong too. These are the only three things that they had to change after copying and pasting the contract. I sent a reply, asking to correct those three things, so I can sign the correct contract. Also, I asked if we can have not only the edited 300-500 images that they provide, but also untouched raw images. I have not heard anything from them for six days. When I called them back, Priscilla said they have to let me go and and are not interested in shooting our wedding because we are not the right clients for them. Why is being professional not right? I don't know how they are in person, but I had a very negative first experience with them.

As I went through the process of planning our wedding, excellent photography emerged as the highest priority. I'm not a sappy person, but as I looked through local photography sites, I became emotionally attached to Haring Photography's work. I could not find a portfolio that spoke to me as strongly as Otto and Priscilla's - they seemed uniquely able to capture moments, emotions and beauty. I couldn't imagine anyone else photographing our wedding. Otto was wonderful to meet and we felt right away that we had the perfect person to capture our 70-person beach wedding. He was stealthy and personable - everyone who met him loved him. The images are like a fairy tale. A few of them alone are worth thousands of dollars each, in my opinion. We are ecstatic with the results and would recommend that anyone hire this team. I would recommend asking Priscilla and Otto at the beginning of the process when to expect your photos. Ours took four months - a lot longer than we expected. It was completely worth the wait. I would also recommend calling rather than emailing, as I found they were very responsive to phone calls and more hit or miss via email. Every artist has his or her idiosyncrasies!

David and I are extremely happy with the experience with Haring Photography. Priscilla who handled our calls and emails was very informative and I could tell from her heart that she really cared how everything was going to turn out. At first, I didn't listen to her suggestions, but as the big day was approaching I felt that I really need her input. It was interesting to see how all the concerns that she had about out schedule came to life on the wedding day, and I am really glad I took all their advice to have a good flow of events. One advice that I didn't consider, was to have a day planner so that they could just focus on photography. I am so glad that we changed our minds.On the wedding day Otto and Priscilla were both on time and super-super nice. They ran around everywhere and captured special moments of everything.We received a preview picture already and it is so special.

They were very friendly. The only thing is you might need to be specific on what you want as a picture meaning certain pictures with certain people, certain poses, less pictures of the same thing, things like that. Overall I loved them and they are so fast to get you the pictures and they're so professional! Thanks so much!

Otta and Priscilla were amazing. They paid attention to details and make sure that they captured all the details of our day. The pictures came out amazing! On the ride from the church to the venue we had Priscilla come join us for the ride. For the quality of pics and the sense of feeling comfortable with the photographers we made the right choice! We couldn't be anymore happier!

Haring Photography was recommended by a friend. Once she showed me her engagement photos I completely understood. If you're looking for cookie cutter, generic, seventh-grade background, boring pictures, these aren't the right photographers for you. If you want creative, fun, pics that look like someone just snapped a photo when you weren't looking - this is the only group you want. I used them for both my engagement and wedding photos. I haven't received my wedding photos yet (they did both stills and video at the wedding and everyone commented how they seemed to be everywhere and yet not at all pushy, but instead very accommodating), but I showed my engagement photos to a couple of other photographers and even they were impressed! Both Otto and Priscilla, but Priscilla in particular, are so much fun to work with, it's not awkward at all. They make you feel completely comfortable. Their ideas are fantastic and the results speak for themselves. I've recommended them to two other couples so far and will continue to do so. They will be taking pictures of every milestone in our family from here on out!

I loved worked with with Haring Photography! Priscilla was AMAZING! She is so talented and I was so lucky to find her! The photos are beyond my expectation. There are so many photographers out there that it can be overwhelming! Worth every penny!

My friend who is a fashion/food photographer recommended Haring Photography. We could not have made a better choice. The photos are perfect! When I look at other wedding photos of close friends, I am SO happy that I picked Priscilla for my wedding! My engagement photos are mounted on canvases all over my living room! LOL We get so many compliments. She is so sweet and knows how to make relax and just be yourself. She also taught me a few poses that look natural!!! I liked the fact that they do all of the editing and photography themselves and don't send it out to third parties for editing. I really respect artists and she is definitely an artist. I didn't mind waiting a bit longer time than my friends for my photos because they were amazing! I also have to thank my mom for the present. She paid for the service and album! This was the best wedding present ever!

I had contact with Priscilla from end of January till beginning March 2013, when she asked me to pay the deposit to hold the date, and that she was excited that I had chosen her as the wedding photograph. Because I could not send a pay check from abroad, I asked if she could provide me with IBAN and BIC/SWIFT numbers in order for me to make a bank transfer. Instead she asked me if it would be possible to pay through PayPal. This was no problem for me, and I asked her if her email address was also her PayPal payment address. I did not get any response from her, so I assumed that her usual email address would also be her PayPal address. I paid the deposit amount and I could see that the PayPal account was associated to her. Now I could take some time going through the contract and contact her once I had any revisions. Accidentally last week I saw that the deposit was sent back to my PayPal account without any comments. I also checked my mails, but no message from her. It was one week on her PayPal account before she decided to send it back. Immediately I tried to call her. I sent an email, asking what had happened? I received an answer from Otto: "Did you send us a signed contract and a deposit to book Priscilla? I am sorry, I have not seen that." Hm, Priscilla only told me that she needed the deposit to hold the date. On March 6th she wrote to me, that she needed the deposit to hold the date. A few days later I asked again what they could tell me about my wedding photography date. The answer came again from Otto (why Otto? The whole time I had contact with Priscilla, and she was the one to be my wedding photographer) "We apologize for the delay! We just returned from abroad last night or we would have gotten back to you earlier. The address that you sent the money to is not an address that we use use for money transfers. Unfortunately, this date has been booked by a client that sent in a contract and deposit to reserve the date. You still have do have plenty of time to find a great photographer for June 1." How should I know that the Paypal address I sent the deposit to, is not their address for money transfers? I never got back any answer from Priscilla, so I took their email address as PayPal address, and it worked (it said Priscilla Haring on PayPal). They ruined my day. Stay away from them. Bettina April 14th: Dear Priscilla/Otto, at least I get a reaction from your side. Even if it is not fully true. We never spoke on the phone, but I always had contact via email with Priscilla. I tried several times via skype, but usually she has her skype account on 'busy' or 'offline'. In one of her last emails to me, she wrote "Just to let you know, some dates are competitive and I cannot hold a date without a received deposit." Sorry, but no word that she needed also the contract to hold the date. Obviously you both are not having the same rules here. You never gave me the chance to pay my deposit to the 'correct' Paypal address, because I simply never received an answer from her. But anyway, I would love to receive your recommendations for a photographer that is as good as you are. Right now I only get 'I'm sorry, we are already booked' answers.Thnx As of April 24th I still haven't received your recommendations! Your comment from Apr. 11th was again a lie "As we communicated before we are more than happy to give you recommendations and help you in any way. Wishing you a fabulous wedding!"

Otto was so great! He was engaged, and sought out the moments that would provide beautiful, unique, and artistic pictures. I can't wait to see the photos - working with him was fun!

We are very impressed with the quality of the pictures! He is very easy to work with and has some crazy ideas! My only regret is not having a list of must have pictures because we missed out on a few opportunities because the day is so hectic. Overall from what we have seen the quality and service he provides is excellent.
