happy with whomever we picked. We are so happy we picked her. She did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. We also picked the package with a second shooter (for the wedding day), which I definitely recommend if it’s within your budget. We went to Balboa for our engagement photo session. My (now husband) and I both had a blast. Harmony constantly made us both laugh, making for some absolutely amazing photos. She was able to capture the true essence of “us.” She had multiple spots for us to go, giving us a number of beautiful backgrounds for our photos. This woman is also not afraid to jump into a bush to get the best photos. 😂 My husband rides a motorcycle, and Harmony had him bring it to incorporate it into some of our photos! On our wedding day she showed up on time and got right to work; taking detail photos of my accessories. She felt like one of the girls while taking photos of me and my bridesmaids. We got ready at a separate location from were the ceremony/reception was. She left before us, to make sure the guys were hidden away before I showed up in my dress. She truly went above and beyond in making sure the day ran perfectly smooth. Harmony captured our day perfectly. She got every single photo that we wanted; including an absolutely beautiful night photo. We got married at my best friends house, and she was able to pinpoint the most perfect spots for our photos to be taken. Just like with the engagement photos, we took photos in multiple spots. It was so fun having her be a part of our big day! Our wedding was one of the ones that was effected by COVID-19. Our wedding was postponed an entire year, and approximately three months before the actual date, our venue completely changed. She was so supportive of us through the entire thing, and was happy to roll with all of my location changes. She was NEVER an added stress throughout the changes, which is not something I can say about all of our vendors. We are truly thankful to have found her and we HIGHLY recommend you choose her to capture your special day too.

os gorgeous, but the experience itself was a fun adventure along a cliffside and beach. Harmony guided us through the process so naturally that we almost forgot that we were taking photos as we enjoyed the beautiful weather and California scenery. year and plan a local wedding from the ground up in less than 4 weeks. Luckily, not long before the wedding date, I stumbled upon Harmony’s profile and reached out. She was quick to respond (and the first to do so) and, not wanting to admit to my now wife that I forgot to book a photographer until the last minute, I eagerly formalized my request for her services. Now, honestly, I was just happy I had crossed that “to-do” off my list at the time. However, when she showed up, it was clear that she was at a whole different level. She had researched the shooting locations incredibly well, had great equipment, came with a variety of ideas and suggestions, brought tasteful props, made everyone feel remarkably at ease, and kept everyone to a schedule without coming across as rude. And while we were extremely grateful for all of that, the thing that truly elevated our opinion of her (and the most important) were the pictures she delivered. Absolutely beautiful! With the timeline we were on and the notice that I was able to provide, my expectations were not that great. But, if I were to do it all over and had time to research hundreds of photographers, I would enthusiastically choose Harmony time after time. Thanks for everything!

Harmony went to the wedding site in advance of the ceremony to study the venue and lighting. She was very organized, making sure she captured the list of all our ‘must have’ photos. And she was on top of both the schedule and the communications of who needed to be where, and when. When we asked last minute to have a 2nd photographer assist her, she immediately found Ryan, and he was absolutely stellar. They were a great duo, and the entire family—from antsy infants and children to elderly who couldn’t easily get around—had a fun time during the photo shoot because Harmony and Ryan kept us calm and laughing. In fact, we enjoyed Harmony and Ryan so much that we asked to extend their time at the reception, and we were so glad we did. The pictures they caught were just incredible. Harmony’s photojournalist background comes shining through in the amazing ways in which she captured the special moments of the evening. We loved each and every photo, and the stories they tell. I really can’t recommend Harmony highly enough. She is truly a fantastic photographer, so nice to work with, and I feel incredibly lucky that my (now) husband and I were fortunate enough to get her as our wedding photographer.

By the day of our wedding, she already knew the perfect spots to get pictures, now some are obvious like the fountain at the entrance & the bridge over the waterfall, but I love that she took us out to the long drive way and even got a photo in front of the wrought iron gate - places I would have never imagine going to take pictures and they ended up being beautiful! She did a great job capturing the feel of the day and the personalities of my husband & I AND our wedding party & guests :) We are a bit of an unconventional couple and we were a bit concerned we might be a bit....too much for some of our vendors. Harmony fit right in and laughed right along with us. Our pictures were ready for us right when we got back from our honeymoon so it was perfect timing for us :) We are OBSESSED with out picture and we HIGHLY recommend Harmony for documenting any special events!!!

Something we (bride and groom) were too overwhelmed with even starting. We had about 160 guests and she did it all solo! We spoke with her over FaceTime before making our final decision, and she sent a follow-up email afterwards which we appreciated. I have found that communication and follow-through is lacking with a lot of wedding vendors. Harmony is clearly in love with what she does. We had never had professional photos taken before and she was great at making us feel comfortable and guiding us as to what to do. We were also impressed by the fact that she went and scouted the location ahead of time. In our opinion, your photographer is the most important vendor you will have for your wedding. Once the event is the over, all you have left are memories and photos. That’s how important picking a good photographer was to us; just to help give you perspective on where I’m coming from with this review. Well my goal with this review is to give way more than just a 5-star rating. As the wedding industry has ballooned into a massive, over-priced behemoth of profit and glamour, my wife and I became really frustrated with how expensive some of these "photographers" were. It wasn’t until my wife kind of stumbled upon Harmony by accident did we feel a huge rush of relief for this huge decision. My wife instantly knew that Harmony shared her artistic style and was really drawn to how wonderful her work was. Harmony was not just able to capture the essence of someone’s special day, but unique, small moments that were truly amazing. Those moments where, if you weren’t in the right spot, with the right eye, it would vanish. From the very beginning, Harmony was responsive, patient, and genuinely chill and down to earth. She had prepared detailed shot lists for us to review to ensure that we got all the photos we wanted on our crazy day. She also gave us a thorough survey to ensure that the style of her photos matched exactly what we wanted. During the planning phase, however, the most impressive thing was her keen attention to detail when it came to our timeline. This timeline was broken down into intervals we would have never thought of, yet she still applied realistic estimates for each activity. No surprise, we told our coordinator that we would be using her schedule, not theirs! How’d Harmony do the day of the wedding? Perfect, of course. I have never met someone who is so friendly and whose happy attitude and demeanor can make anyone give their most genuine smile yet still managed to take charge of my rowdy friends and family and get them to pay attention! Truly a professional, Harmony made taking photos together so much fun and didn’t have a problem telling our coordinator he could wait so she could get some more perfect photos. All night long she was diligently finding and capturing amazing moments; you can feel the love and happiness in these photos my friends! After the wedding, Harmony got our photos back to us in the time we agreed. These are some of the most amazing pictures I have seen in my life. Honestly, I didn’t know photos could turn out that well. They really capture the mood and essence of the night; the bond between our family and friends and the love between my wife and I. In closing, my wife and I couldn’t be happier we chose Harmony for our special day. She did such an awesome job and if we ever have a big event that requires a photographer; we will definitely be talking to her again. Thank you again Harmony! You rock!

personality makes everything more fun and she's up for anything! She even did our December engagement shoot in the freezing cold in Georgetown! We were all frozen but still having a blast. The hot chocolate afterwards really hit the spot. On our wedding day, Harmony was this peaceful presence that existed within the chaos! When everyone else was stressed or rushed, Harmony was close by and calm with a smile on her face. She put my mind at ease and really helped me just enjoy the moment, which she so beautifully captured in her photographs. I can't say enough about her and her photography. I'm so happy she came back to DC to shoot our wedding! It wouldn't have been the same without her :D

We live in LA and are getting married in the San Diego area, so we did a FaceTime interview with Harmony before hiring her. and her calm and laid back demeanor was a perfect fit for us. We had our engagement photos shot about a month ago now and have all of our finished photos already. Which brings me to the best part, Harmony is both great to work with and our photos are INCREDIBLE! We are so happy! I now can be stress free about our wedding photos because I know the experience, and the end product will be above my expectations.

We knew Harmony was the right photographer for us quickly after our initial meeting and didn’t interview anyone else. Most importantly, her work is AMAZING! Leading up to the wedding Harmony was in constant contact with us and it was clear that she spent a significant amount of time preparing for our wedding. Specifically, she scoped out our venue and surrounding location MULTIPLE times and at different hours of the day to make sure lighting would be ok. It was supposed to rain on the day of our wedding (thankfully it did only in the morning) and Harmony was super flexible in the days beforehand, coming up with creative “rain plans” and different options. She was open to our suggestions on places to shoot as well. On the actual day of the wedding she arrived super early and instantly put us at ease. We felt like we were having our photos taken by a friend! She came up with really unique shoots/pose ideas and was just overall so much fun to work with. As for the quality of her work, it is incredible. Harmony's attention to detail, light, location etc. is top notch and shows in her work. She is impeccable with editing and literally goes above and beyond to make sure all of your photos look great. And her turnaround time is superb at less than 3 weeks – I think that’s virtually unheard of. Hire her! You really can’t go wrong with Harmony. She is a natural and just an overall awesome person to have shoot your wedding photos. We truly feel so lucky to have been able to work with her! Thanks for everything Harmony! A &A
