Located in Nevada City, CA, Harmony Ridge Lodge is a tranquil wedding venue surrounded by the Tahoe National Forest. The lodge features gorgeous gardens, multiple spaces for functions, and luxurious overnight accommodations. Suited for weekend weddings, the venue provides an inspiring setting for couples and their guests to reconnect with the natural world and celebrate. Harmony Ridge Lodge is situated 60 miles from Sacramento and 80 miles from Reno, making it a conveniently located venue. Originally, this lodge was a private home complete with a large car and horse barn. In 2006, it was renovated into a retreat and event center with a welcoming atmosphere. Between the natural scenery and the comfortable amenities, soon-to-be-weds and their loved ones can easily immerse themselves in the moment. Harmony Ridge Lodge can accommodate up to 100 individuals inside and up to 150 people for outdoor gatherings. The lodge also has nine suites for up to 25 overnight guests. The largest event space spans 1,400 square feet and features a lofty ceiling and heated floors. Indoor events can also take place in the great room. Its cedar paneling and fireplace create a cozy ambience. The dining room and foyer, which has room for 30 seated guests, may also be used for wedding-related functions. Outside, 50 people can enjoy the festivities on the screened deck. The lawn is also available and has room for a tent, providing even more space for guests. Plenty of trails, an orchard, and a gazebo are also present on the property for loved ones to enjoy. The venue has a catering kitchen and room for the wedding party to get ready as well. The team provides audiovisual equipment and wifi and is enthusiastic about collaborating with a couple’s chosen vendors to effortlessly bring the event together.

d helpful people I've ever met - they truly wanted our event to be a success and it was evident in all our communications. The grounds are beautifully kept, and it's so peaceful and private. To find a venue that allowed us to rent it for the entire weekend (for both the welcome party and the big day), had rooms for guests on-site plus getting-ready spaces, offered multiple spaces for different uses (ceremony, reception, dancing, after-hours) so things felt fresh - we couldn't believe our luck in finding this spot. It worked out so perfectly for our event; we only wished we could have been there longer!

t door they didn't tell us about prior. but it ended right as our ceremony was beginning so it worked out. this is perfect for a wedding less than 50. the live-in women who works there was not the best to work with but maybe she was having a rough day personally. overall it was Great and our guests were happy!

e day of coordinator was a lifesaver and Michelle, the chef and caretaker was wonderful as well. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding or other events. I hope to someday plan a family/friend reunion at the lodge. We had dinner Friday at The roadhouse next door, delicious meal on the patio and just a short walk from the lodge.

There are 8 or 9 spacious and beautifully furnished suites and a large room for arranging flowers or late night parties. flowers and surrounded by trees. We got to have our family and friends stay at the Lodge with us for the weekend leading up to our wedding and what a wonderful experience that was. All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and I loved showing my guests where they would be staying and seeing their faces light up when they walked into their rooms.
Debbie was fantastic to work with through the entire planning process. She and her staff made us feel at ease and at home the second we walked in the door. The owners were there and instantly felt like family. Upon learning that my mother in law was an elementary grade teacher, Jaime even took her walking in the forest in search of pine cones for her class! They were so warm, inviting and felt like family.
Our wedding weekend was incredible and was beyond what even I had hoped for and so much of that was because of Harmony Ridge. It was the perfect setting for the wedding we wanted to create for ourselves. All of our guests commented on how personal and beautiful the wedding was and I honestly don't think we could have pulled it off anywhere else.
