I truly believe that choosing your photographer is just as important as choosing your dress. They’re by your side all day, and the energy they bring can set the tone for the whole day. Savanna and her second shooter, Kaycee, were everything I could’ve hoped for and more. From the moment they arrived, it felt like I had two friends by my side. Savanna brought such a fun, yet calming energy that instantly made me feel at ease, and Kaycee was just as sweet and upbeat & was an absolute lifesaver when it came to helping with my hooking & unhooking the train to my dress all night. The whole day, they managed to be everywhere and nowhere at once, capturing the most beautiful, candid moments without ever being intrusive. Our guests were even raving about how amazing they both were. We got our photos back so quickly, and they completely blew us away. Every single shot is stunning, emotional, and so us. I can’t imagine the day without Savanna and Kaycee. By the end of it all, Savanna didn’t just feel like a vendor, she felt like a friend. If you’re thinking about booking Harper & Brothers, let this be your sign. She is the kind of person who make your day better just by being there & somehow manage to give you the most incredible photos on top of it.

If I could choose my photographer over again I 100% would. I fell in love with the photos Savanna had on her website, as many would. The photos I received for my wedding/engagement were the complete opposite. The attention to detail was not on point for my wedding. To start off, who gets 800+ edited wedding photos back in 3 days? Did she actually edit the photos or were they pushed into a software to "edit" them? Savanna also requested a Pinterest board of photos for ideas, she used 2 ideas out of 30. The morning of the wedding my husband and I were at different locations, me at home, him at the church. Both photographers were with me and no one was with him. I have 3 very rushed photos of my husband before the wedding and 0 of him getting ready with his group. Those 3 photos were TERRIBLE, which says a lot because my husband never takes a bad photo. His hair was messed up and you can see her in the background of the photos. Don't worry I did get about 45 not so great photos of my dress hanging from a plastic hanger over the deck and my shoes in multiple settings. She also never took a photo of my bridesmaids seeing me in the dress for the first time, so another disappointment to the morning. The photos she took of our guests coming into the church looked like someone took them with their phone. The wedding party photos were even worse. I literally cried, not happy tears, when I saw my church photos and I still do to this day. I will admit the church had a lot of natural lighting, but I would think a professional would adjust their camera settings to match their surroundings. The church photos were so washed out that I couldn't salvage them by going B/W. The family members in our photos looked like ghosts, no one should be brighter/whiter than my dress. The photos taken between the church and the reception were better, but still not great. Our wedding party was around 12 people and it was very frustrating to not see everyone in the group photos. Not a great idea to put a 5'6" guy behind a 6'1" girl. The reception photos were better. Our only issue during the reception was, they were going to leave before the first dances and speeches. We told her to stay another hour and send us a bill. She never sent us a bill, we were told that hour was a favor to us in later conversations. I did reach back out to Savanna to discuss the quality of the church photos, if she had any additional photos of my husband before the wedding, and a few other questions. I felt as if I was in the wrong for not liking her "editing" skills. After going back and forth on what I didn't like she fixed some of the photos. At this point all I wanted were the raw photos so I could give them to someone else to edit. Nowhere in the contract did it say, 'clients are not allowed raw photos from the contracted date'. After multiple attempts to contact her regarding that request, she came back to say I would have to pay more money to get those photos. At the end of the day interview your photographer better, have them edit a photo you have, and ask to look the portfolios they don't advertise on their website. I am sure she would LOVE to show everyone mine. I added a few photos to the review.

Savanna was AMAZING!! She got our pictures to us so quick and I absolutely LOVE them! She was so sweet and professional on our wedding day! She’s seriously the best and I’ve been recommending her to everyone I know!
