Hiring Hedi Shankleton with Harper Events to be your wedding planner, is a non-negotiable. She knows the Houston wedding scene inside and out. She was professional, reassuring, pas...
sionate, and was realistic with our budget when other vendors were seemingly not, which we greatly appreciated. Her value was immeasurable and her influence was vaster than I think we’ll ever really know; she truly kept us together. It’s like Hedi took all of our puzzle pieces and half-ideas, turned it into artwork, and then did the Elle Woods shrug, “what, like it’s hard?”
Her assistant-for-the-day, Jacob Martinez, was also our energizer bunny King, picking up all our slack and fixing any missteps in real time on the wedding day. Our bridesmaids were actively walking down the aisle as my wife realized she’d left her bouquet on the first floor. That man FLEW down two flights of stairs and made it back in borderline supernatural timing.
With Hedi and Jacob on our team, we knew our wedding night would be nothing short of extraordinary; they simply wouldn’t have allowed it.

lanning. She is extremely professional, passionate and always there to give you confidence in your vision for your big day. I had a million and one questions and she had 2 million answers and solutions. The vendors that collaborate with Harper Events are all top notch! It was hard to choose, but Hedi’s formula really makes your dream day come to life. She has a way of seeing your vision and making it work within budget. We were very budget orientented, which Harper events paid close attention to when setting vendor appointments. Hanging out with Hedi is always so much fun, I could not wait for us to set appointments and plan. As we got closer to the wedding date is when I really started to realize how amazingly blessed I was to have Hedi. She helped me through EVERYTHING, and was miticulous about every little detail that goes into your special day. Rehearsal and the day of were organized and followed schedule as much as possible. I had some weather issues but once again Hedi and her honeys saved the day! I could not imagine the process without her! Don’t miss your opportunity for the best wedding in Houston Area, and hire Harper Events! 💕✨
