Harper Point Photography

You know when you meet someone? And you totally hit it off? And you think "wow-that person is AMAZING and we would totally be best friends if we lived in the same state?" That's how I felt the first 30 seconds I met Kira. She is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but a pretty incredible human being. I found Harper Point through a friend who had used them on the commercial side of their photography business. I live in Washington State but grew up in Colorado and didn't actually meet Kira until a week before the wedding, but we talked frequently enough before this that I felt comfortable that she knew my style and what my husband and I were looking for. Caleb (also awesome) and Kira were the photographers for our wedding in Estes Park and they captured every nuance of our wedding in such perfect form. From Kira dancing in her Doc Martens to Michael Jackson while shooting at warp speed to Caleb laying in a field of stickers to get the angle he wanted, they took fabulous pictures. I must add that Kira even offered to carry me up a dirt hill in 4 inch stilettos to get the first look shots. She is that dedicated! These guys know what they are doing and I would not have chosen anyone else to capture such a perfect day. Harper Point will give you the style and the pictures you want and do it in such a way that they become family in the process. Thank you Kira and Caleb!

The most important thing to me and my husband in planning our wedding was our photos. (Both of us also die a little bit inside when we see horribly cheesy and cliche wedding photography.) I spent a lot of time doing research online, and as soon as I found Harper Point I knew we had found the one. And Kira & Caleb did not disappoint. My mom and I met with Kira several times before the event to discuss what we were looking for, what family portraits we wanted, etc., and both of us thought Kira was the coolest. When Kira & Caleb showed up the morning of the wedding they continued to impress me (and everyone else who was there). They are friendly, fun, super creative, and very professional. I can get a bit awkward in front of cameras, but they were so good at giving me little directions (tilt your chin down, put your hands here, etc) that I look like a freaking movie star in all our photos. It was so great to have people who totally knew what they were doing. And the other thing that really impressed me, is that even though they do a ton of weddings in Estes Park (and other locations I'm sure), every wedding they shoot they try new stuff so that all of their clients will have unique and special photos. They were also a blast to hang out with. So in conclusion, if you want unique, creative, beautiful, and artistic wedding photos that rule, go with Harper Point. They are the best!

HarperPoint was absolutely one of the BEST decisions that we could have made for our wedding day! As I said in the title, their photos are super fun and creative and they were also able to capture the emotion of the entire day. That was one of the main reasons why we loved HP. You can tell from their portfolio that they do a wonderful job of conveying the story of the couple. Kira and Caleb were SOOOOOO much fun to work with!! They were so laid back that it was easy for us just to be ourselves and none of our smiles were forced at all. I cannot say enough good things about them and neither could our guests. We received so many compliments regarding HP - how fun they were, what unique shots they were able to get, the colors, how non-intrusive they were. We would highly recommend HarperPoint if you're looking for a breath of fresh air when it comes to photography. We'll definitely be using HP for future photo needs!

From start to finish, I was impressed by Harper Point. Their style is incredible and I wanted someone that actually took some unique shots instead of the same ones I saw with every photographer. They were out of our budget but photos were so important to me that we went with them anyways. I wish some prints or a photobook was included in the cost, but that was the only downside. Our pictures turned out incredible and from our first meeting with Kira, I was able to relax and have complete faith in the photos we would receive. I highly recommend these guys if you are looking for something creative and a little funky.
