We held our reception at Harris’ after our City Hall wedding. It was perfect. Marc was a breeze to work with and made our small wedding reception a breeze. Our guests were so impre...ssed by the service and food. One such guest said that this was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. The service was exceptionally friendly, responsive, and so kind. We began the evening with a cocktail hour which included an open bar, selection of wine picked out by Marc, a cheese display and oysters on a table and passed hors d’oeuvres. Our guests were raving about the filet mignon brochettes and potato skins. The servers went around with these delicious bites and it made the event feel so classy. Not to mention, Harris’s atmosphere is just the perfect, old school, classic SF steakhouse. Our party was held in their ballroom which fit our 20+ guest perfectly at one long table. As for the dinner itself, we had options that our guest selected from the table. The staff quickly brought out the first course, a fresh salad, followed by the main. My groom and I had the prime rib and it was simply perfect. We decided to go with their standard cheese cake for dessert over cake and we’re happy with that choice because the cheesecake was sooo good. This was the perfect, low key, no fuss dining experience we were hoping for. For our needs and budget this was such a dream. We are so glad we found the Harris and are pleased to be the first to leave a review. We can’t wait to come back for drinks and a great meal in the future.
