The two stars are for the food and the food only. The food was great and the guest had nothing but good things to say. With that being said, the service was horrible. During the pl...
anning process, the communication with Harrisons was terrible and when we did speak to them they were rude and disrespectful. The day of the wedding, the staff was rude, grumpy, and did not respect my coordinator. I should not have to step in during my wedding day because my caterer is disrespecting my other vendors. Absolutely unacceptable service from the entire Harrisons staff throughout the whole process.
I contracted with Harrison's recently to cater my son's Rehearsal Dinner at the Ray Vernon Estate near Milroy, PA. Sample menus provided on their website helped me to figure out w...
hat to order. Andrew, the server for our event, arrived to set up right on time (actually we were running behind with the rehearsal). The food was fabulous, and Andrew was very courteous and attentive. Everyone enjoyed the meal.
Great food, wide selection, nice people working at the wedding! I especially liked the BBQ sandwiches!
Amazing food, professional staff, flexible with the menu and day of coordination. We were very impressed with the work done by Harrison’s! They helped to perfectly facilitate dinne...
r service and cocktail hour and all of the food was delicious. The staff needed little to no instruction from us, which made the whole experience stress free! Natalie was able to make sure we got an amazing meal that fit within our budget. Great experience all around.
We hired Harrison’s to cater our wedding at General Potter Farm and we are so happy we did! Everyone told us how much they loved our food! We appreciated working with Natalie and h...
ow flexible she was to help us create just the menu we wanted. We were able to customize our menu down to the proportions of each type of appetizer (we decided we wanted some sautéed mushrooms, but fewer of those than our other two appetizers which were bruschetta and beer cheese pretzels). Harrison’s was able to offer us a great mix of comfort food and creative dishes, which our guests thoroughly enjoyed. We heard great things about both the Mac and cheese and the “zingy” coleslaw salad! We were grateful for a nice variety of options to serve our guests with dietary needs and even just differing preferences. We were very pleased with both the appetizers and buffet options. Everything looked & tasted great! Prices were reasonable. We also liked being able to hire our bartenders through Harrison’s as well. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly and the food was all displayed nicely where we had indicated. Harrisons staff brought my groom and I plates of food to our table and even drinks from the bar. Our guests said the bartenders were very nice and helpful. We so appreciated Harrison’s staff packing up the extras in labeled containers and storing them in the refrigerator for us. They were willing to cut our cake from a different vendor and even boxed up the extras for us as well. We sent home some of our yummy leftovers with a few very happy groomsmen!
All of the food was excellent, the services was great, and they were incredibly easy to work with. Would highly recommend.
My now husband and I actually had 2 weddings this summer due to family health issues and Harrison’s catered both of them and did an AMAZING job! They were so easy to work with and ...
quick to respond if I had any questions or changes. The food was delicious for both, I still have people commenting to me that it was some of the best food they have ever had at a wedding. I would definitely recommend them for any wedding or event!

ghout the whole process. The food was delicious as well (especially the mango salsa!). The venue itself is beautiful, with the windows and views doing most of the decorating work. . I would highly recommend holding an event here.
A few days before my son's wedding I found we were in need of a caterer. Harrison's SAVED THE DAY! The staff was professional, considerate, accommodating and went the extra mil...
e throughout the entire process. After all this - the food was DELICIOUS and plentiful! Harrison's didn't just cater our food - they catered to us!
We used Harrison's for our wedding and were so disappointed. Half of the things written into the contract weren't done. I noted that we would need candles lit and on the day of th...
e wedding when I asked the server to do that she snapped that it wasn't her job. They were to cut the cake and pies so guests could self serve and that wasn't done. They ran out of food despite us paying for four extra guests that weren't able to make it at the last minute. They started to run low on ice and asked the groom to go get more despite the fact that it was written in the contract that they were responsible for ice and bar utensils. I reached out to their management to discuss and they admitted that the staff was new and undertrained. They asked if I would like them to take the gratuity away from the staff to correct the situation. I don't feel as though that was an appropriate response given the staff was untrained. When I said that they completely stopped responding to my emails. I couldn't be more disappointed. The food was great and I did so much research to choose a caterer. The service and the responsiveness to the issues have been appalling. Why bother spending so much time on a contract if it's going to be ignored.
