un! Harry is extremely creative. He is able to take shots in every style, and have them all come out great! Our pictures have all looked wonderful, and we would recommend him to every couple looking for a photographer. We aren't the most natural when it comes to taking pictures, and Harry made it a very comfortable experience. I never imagined our pictures would come out so great! There is no one better out there!

For the wedding shoot, he was there from start (8AM – with the bride and bridesmaids) to finish (about 12AM), and seemingly never seemed to take a break. He dressed professionally, got some absolutely fantastic shots throughout the reception and every single person we talked to after the event had only extremely positive things to say about Harry. He also did our engagement session, which was more of the same – extremely professional behavior and outright passion and talent for photography. People are blown away by our engagement photo book, as the shots, combined with the contemporary art style that Harry does, make it something that is far more exciting and dynamic than what most are used to. Needless to say – we’ll be highly recommending Harry to any couple we know looking to get married, as the job he did with our wedding was absolutely perfect.

His patience and open schedule to accommodate whatever it is the bride and groom need was unreal. Harry does not ever put time restraints on his sessions with you and was with me on my wedding day from 10:00am until 11:00pm without charging a premium or any extra to stay over a certain amount of time. The same was the instance when doing my engagement photo session. Harry was on board to drive to wherever I wanted and captured special places that were close to mine and my husbands hearts and relationship. He loves to hear the stories of the relationship so that he can make the photos extra special. I do not have a wedding album I have a beautiful story that tells all the moments of my day. I highly recommend Harry over any photographer that I had met with his prices were spot on, his passion is amazing and he a true artist when it comes to photography.

A huge plus for me is he is there for you on the wedding day from whenever you want him to start until you tell him he can go home :). While our wedding will not take place for a few more weeks, we took advantage of the "Love Story" book and had a photo session in downtown Birmingham. Harry was extremely accommodating and worked tirelessly the entire day. He promptly sent proofs shortly after our engagement session. He listened to our comments and selections when putting together our engagement photo album as well. He even personally delivered our album to my office. r photographer. He stressed to us the importance of capturing everything about our day. We were able to choose unlimited locations & time for our engagement photos. We started out at Yates Cider Mill and worked our way down to Troy area and ending in Detroit. While in Detroit, not only did Harry capture my beauty but the cities as well! After reviewing all images of engagement, Harry put together an album which I could of never imagined! But what was most important to me, was I was part of the album design. I got to choose the images, review different layouts and approve for printing. As my wedding was approaching, I had the opportunity to sit down with Harry and create a timeline of our wedding day that fit everyone's schedule. From morning alarm, to hair, makeup, bridesmaid arrival, groomsman arrival, putting dress on, limo, church, music, procession, after church pictures, family photos, cake, father/mother dance...everything you could possibly imagine and more was added into the timeline that Harry and I created for the day. The best thing I had for my wedding day and made it run so smoothly and stress free! Harry is so passionate about his job and is all over the place! crawling on floors standing on chairs (very discretely) just to make sure he gets that one image! What is more amazing about this photographer is he does not give a time frame. He is with you from morning until you go to bed- well leave the venue! Harry is truly one of a kind and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a True Photographer!

ed several photographers, once I met Harry Vitanis, I knew I had found an exceptional photographer. He was the one! Both my husband and I could tell from our initial meeting with Harry, that he was very passionate at what he does and that this is just not a “job” to him. The images we saw were absolutely beautiful and his design work was so creative! He really cares and it shows. Harry is also very accommodating and working with him has been wonderful. We took advantage of the Engagement Session where he recreated the actual story of their engagement through his images. The Engagement Album is fabulous! It brought tears to my eyes, as it really brought the story of their engagement to life. I love that the images are not “posed”, but are very natural looking and my son’s and his fiance’s emotions and feelings can be seen in the pictures. This album is truly something special. I am looking forward to the Wedding Album in 2015. I will definitely use Harry Vitanis when my daughters marry. On a scale of 1-10, we all feel Harry is definitely a 10+++!

al format. It was also not a first wedding for either of us and so we wanted some family shots, many active shots of the party and Harry delivered on this with good quality. He met with us several times, making sure to understand the format of the wedding and visit our home at the time the wedding would be scheduled for, checking for sunset, etc. This proved helpful to us and added to the ease of the family shots prior to the wedding ceremony in terms of appropriate setting, background, natural lighting. He was patient with us in deciding upon our album and helpful in assisting us with choices and in designing an album that really showed the flow and the happiness of our wedding. He was very comfortable to be around and we enjoyed having him as our wedding photographer!

initial meeting with Harry went well, his quality of work was excellent, he was energetic and really sold himself well. The first red flag came after our "included" engagment photo session when he wanted us to purchase a $1,000 + "engagment story book album". The engagment photos came back somewhat of a disappointment so we only ordered a few pictures and left it at that. There was not much pre-planning leading up to the day of our wedding, which was something that obviously needed to be done and wasn't. He led us to believe that he was the professional and had this in the bag. I didn't even think that my Husband and I would be the ones calling the shots the day of our wedding, which is exactly what happened. Harry turned to us to see who was supposed to be in what picture which unfortunately threw us off and left a lot of desired photos untaken at the end of the night. I thought the job of the wedding photographer, who we paid big money for, was to know what photos to take the day of, not leave that up to the Bride and Groom. I have only ONE photo of myself with my Mom, and it is only from the waist up. I also don't have any photos with my Mom, brother, sister, Husband and I, only one with our large extended family. There are NO photos of my Husband and I with our Flower girl or Ring bear either, they were completely left out. At the end of the night Harry also wisked us away, walking us all through the grounds of our venue for 4 quick shots that took 20 minutes and left us without the ability to say goodbye to many of our guests. It is now 5 months after our wedding date and we have been struggling with Harry ever since. After we declined to purchase a $4,000 wedding album on top of what we already paid him for his services, he took away other free upgrades and continued to tell us that the quality is there and we would be disappointed if we didn't purchase the upgraded ablum. I've stood up in two other wedding this summer, both after my own and both brides have all of their photos in their posession and are expecting their albums any day now, and paid 1/2 the price of what we did. If you have no budget and no expectations regarding your wedding photos than Harry is your guy. Otherwise, you will be disappointed :( I could go on and on but what it comes down to, is if we could do it all over again we would NOT hire Harry Vitanis for our photographer.
