pful. We had to deal with a hurricane our wedding weekend but the Hartley House staff did everything they could to make sure our day still went as planned. The property itself is so so so beautiful and maintained so well that you really don’t need a ton of decor to make it look wedding ready. They have done a spectacular job with renovations making it so easy to move about the property and see all the unique aspects the Hartley house has to offer. I highly recommend booking an event with Crystal. You will not be disappointed!

Our wedding guests continue to talk about the delicious food and how absolutely beautiful the florals, lighting and tent set up were ! Many have said it was the most fun and memorable wedding ever. f cons. All that changed when we toured the Hartley House. It was everything we wanted- history, charm, and a beautiful story. This was the only venue where I could see my wedding day happening as we toured. Crystal is one of the nicest people on the planet and has done a *phenomenal* job decorating the home in a way that honors its history while maintaining current style. This was the only venue we toured with a designated space for the groom/guys to get ready in, and the bridal suite is not only HUGE but also gorgeous. We weren't even out of the driveway before my husband said he wanted to get married there. Crystal was so easy to work with, answered all of my questions no matter how silly, and gave us an amazing recommendation for our rehearsal dinner. So many upgrades were made in the year after we booked which was an added bonus. I also loved being able to have my bridal portraits done on site as well. My husband and I had a perfect wedding day and we are so grateful that we found Crystal and the Hartley House!!

is so beautiful! Crystal, the venue manager, is truthfully so kind. She knows her stuff and really wants you to have your vision come to life. She is so helpful and gave me such good ideas for planning our special day. From what parking looks like day of to mapping out a whole different layout less than 12 hours before due to rain, Crystal was detail oriented and responsive. Our wedding was so beautiful and we are so grateful that we were able to have it at Hartley House with Crystal and her team. I could not recommend them enough! Thank you, thank you!

several hundred miles away, it was great to be able to do a package deal with Crystal's curated list of vendors and turn everything over to her to manage. It made the process so much easier for us - and saved us money as well - and all of her partners did a fantastic job. We had over 130 guests who travelled from all over the world, and they all raved about everything: the venue, the organization, the food, the DJ, the decorations, etc. It was just as we hoped it would be. I gladly recommend Hartley House.

for my wedding day. From the planning to the day of the wedding, every detail was covered and taken care of with exceptionally. Crystal took so much time to make sure we had everything we needed just the way we wanted. The planning was meticulous but easy. Crystal and her staff were wonderful as well as the vendors she uses. Everything is arranged in house which made the whole experience that much easier. The house has ample room for the bridal party to get ready in comfort and relax. that she recommended and we went with her expertise. Between herself and the day-of-coordinator Brittany, that Crystal recommended, they literally handled EVERYTHING. They went above and beyond and are just fun people who actually became our friends during the process. You can see in all of our photos the decor that Crystal put together and it is exactly what we envisioned. Everyone says wedding planning is so stressful, but clearly they just haven't been choosing the right place and people. I'd get married 10x over if I had the venue and Crystal. Our one concern was about the distance from the Hartley House to any potential hotels in Lexington. We debated doing transportation for guests and decided not to ultimately and thank goodness we didn't waste our money. Uber's had no problem coming out and taking our guests back into town! So if this is one of your concerns, just know that it isn't a factor at all. Being in the south can be tricky to have a LGBTQ friendly space to get married so we are forever thankful that this venue and team welcomed us with open arms.

s nor a large budget. This was the perfect find! Crystal and her husband John made our day more than special! They were exactly what we needed when it came to lowering stress levels! We couldn’t have asked for a more gracious host to share their lovely home. They have put time and money into making this the best experience ever! I am a free lance photographer and let me tell you, if you get a chance to work at this venue you will be surely welcomed and accommodated! They treated us like family from the start and even the slightest of details were handled to perfection! Freaking out? Crystal can handle just about anything you ask her! The level of communication was incredible. They are professional and amazing. I’ve heard a lot people say on their wedding day they had a lot of time constraints and restrictions and it was not that way at Hartley House at all!!!
