Wendy has a lot of experience and passion for what she does, and it shows. I appreciated the time she took to understand our vision, share ideas, and discuss multiple price points for everything. We talked by phone initially and then by email. Her email responses were always thorough, and she kept up with our shared pinterest page. Her prices are competitive, and I felt it was a good value when we made payment. I will say I was disappointed that fresh flower mock ups were not offered but for an additional cost, and this wasn't shared early on. By the time I requested mock ups, it was too late because the flowers needed time for ordering, and we were coming up close to the date. Not having mock ups of the centerpieces and bouquets made me nervous, but Wendy assured me she would make the arrangements exactly as we discussed. On the day of the wedding, I thought the flowers overall were very pretty. I particularly loved my bouquet after I asked her to remove the greenery (thankfully, I saw my bouquet ahead of time!). The color scheme was somewhat off. I wanted to showcase more cream and ivory hues with little pops of light blush for a more neutral look, however, there was quite a bit of baby pink in the bridesmaid bouquets, cake, and aisle decor. We talked about color schemes and shared photos for months, so I expected that would have been on point without question. There was also a waxy choice of greenery around the cake which was not in line with the elegant theme of our wedding but gave more of a rustic feel. If I had seen the cake decor prior to the reception, I would have asked her to remove the greenery like we did with my bouquet, so the luscious cascading flowers she put on and around the cake would have shined. Other than flowers, we also rented most of our other decor pieces from Wendy (ie gold urns, ceremony arch, candles, large frame and easel, etc) and those fit swimmingly with the vision. Wendy set up everything artistically too. Overall, Wendy is a highly qualified florist/event designer, and I especially recommend her if your wedding is at Chateau Morrisette Winery like ours was. She is very familiar to this venue and gets along great with the wedding coordinator on site. My tip is to get mocks up first

I couldn't have asked for a better experience than what I received with Wendy! The entire process from start to finish was so easy and laid back. We met to discuss my vision and she totally got it from day one! The flowers on the day of were everything I dreamed of and I honestly couldn't have picked a better person to help make my wedding vision a reality!

Wendy is a very enthusiastic and sweet person, and she truly wants to make your wedding day special. She spent a lot of time communicating with me on the phone and through email to understand my needs and to truly get a sense of the style of my wedding. She also looked at my pinterest page and did additional research to make everything perfect. One of the great things about working with her is that she creates a budget with items that she thinks you may be interested in and provides multiple price points for each item to choose from. I felt that her prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality. When she showed up on my wedding day with my flowers, I was blown away--they were much more gorgeous than I had ever expected! She created beautiful arrangements that fit my theme perfectly and incorporated my colors. I could not have been more pleased with my flowers. I would highly recommend Wendy to anyone!!
