We recently hosted our wedding reception at The Harvester in downtown Smithville, TN, and it was truly everything we could have hoped for—and more.
From start to finish, the expe...
rience was absolutely seamless. The space itself is a beautifully refurbished, one-of-a-kind venue in the heart of downtown Smithville, just minutes from Center Hill Lake. It was the perfect location.
The Harvester had everything we needed—plenty of room for our guests, a warm and inviting atmosphere, and a layout that worked beautifully for a celebration.
The event space was spotless and completely ready when we arrived. We didn’t have to worry about a thing.
A huge thank you to Bert Driver, the owner, who was fantastic to work with throughout the entire planning process. His communication was clear and timely, and he generously shared so many helpful vendor recommendations that made planning so much easier.
And we can’t say enough about the bartenders—they were truly fantastic and added to the fun, welcoming vibe of the evening.
We are beyond grateful to The Harvester for helping us create the most perfect day. Highly, highly recommend this gem of a venue!
We had both our wedding and reception at The Harvester and I truly could not have asked for a better day! The venue was beautiful and I wouldn’t have had my wedding anywhere else, ...
and I don’t say that lightly. Everything was taken care of with no surprises, which is exactly what you hope for when visualizing your wedding day. Bert and his crew are beyond helpful and do their best to make your event exactly what you imagined, but better. My girls and I were able to get ready right next door in the Casablanca building, which made everything so much easier and convenient. Eschelle with Alchemy Salon (also located in the Casablanca building) is the Harvester’s in-house hair stylist who styled my hair, along with seven others and knocked it out of the park! She’s so talented and is the best at making sure everyone loves how they look and is 100% comfortable. If you need a make-up artist, they’ve got you covered there too! Just ask for Hennessey. If you are looking for a venue for your next event, you should really consider The Harvester. You won’t only get a beautiful space unlike any other, you’ll receive the service and support you need to make your night a success!
The Harvester is a great place to have any type of event! We had our wedding reception here after a small ceremony at a different location and it was so fun! The venue has a rustic...
vibe to it which matched our wedding theme really well. Bert is super fun to work with and can make any dream you have come to life. We also used the Photo Booth they provide and it was such a hit! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because we had to clean before decorating (it was supposed to be cleaned beforehand) and we did not get our security deposit despite cleaning after it was over due to glitter in the venue (I’m assuming from my wedding dress having a glitter layer under it). Other than that happening, we recommend any event here!
