Always a great place to find a moment of peace in the noise of it all. Very clean always greeted by the kindest most beautiful team of educated and informed Black women this museum is a must visit if you haven't. All my fellow NY NJ transplants...

I truly enjoyed myself. I am from Michigan, so it is much smaller than our African American museum, but it is worth it. As a Detroit area native, I LOVED the exhibit "In Pursuit of Home" by Mario Moore. His pieces were phenomenal.
