Wish the exhibit was larger. Alot of th 1e frames were already gone. Would have been nice to see something else replaced by them instead of an empty space.
Over all it was a great experience looking through someone else's eyes.

This place was amazing. The singing and dancing, then crafts for my 9 year old for Juneteenth, was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed the artwork. I loved the exhibits and artwork 🥰

I've been here twice, i love it! It's small and could easily be finished within an hour if you just take a look at each piece and go on, maybe an hour and a half if you actually take your time. Definitely worth the like $10 it costs to get in. ...
I only went on Thanksgiving weekend both times i went so I'm not sure how busy it usually is but during those days it's pretty easy to get into

Very nice museum. The Day I went they were having a free dance class. I enjoyed all of the works but there's a particular digital work you have to go see by Mickalene Thomas. Absolutely beautiful. You can't take pictures but it's well worth it....
The story is she created that particular digital art exclusively for Harvey B. Gantt Museum, you won't find it or the digital copies any where else.

Much smaller than i expected, i was in the museum for less than an hour but it was very nice. 3 exhibition rooms each with a different theme. I enjoyed the pamphlet that had more information about each artist and their work.

I haven't seen the entire place but I checked in at the gift shop ( it was quite a slow process) and took the escalator upstairs to see a movie.
I had a wonderful time! The temperature was comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean.

is being my first time, it left a good impression. I just wish there was a bit more urgency when getting us checked in. Also, I attended by signing up through Eventbrite. The movie event showed as free but there was a charge for entry. I paid $9 for that and $21 for parking.

Sad to say but this museum was very underwhelming. I figured bringing my kids during black history month I'd be immersed in wall to wall art and other forms of visual imagery. To my dismay it was as dry and stale as expires crackers. The info...
video gets you so hyped about what your about to experience but the actual galleries leave much to the imagination. I'm hoping that I caught the museum on the wrong day. I'll give it another chance later in the month. But my first experience was one I'd like to forget.
