The bridal suites were big enough for everyone that needed to be in there. It was stocked with everything we needed as well. The food was absolutely amazing. We had many friends and family tell us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The staff was very attentive to the needs of us and our guests. Nicole and her staff help our vision of that day come true. The sound quality for our DJ was great and we had enough space to dance! Cocktail hour was perfect with some apps as we mingled and waited for dinner. The ceremony was held outside in front of the beautiful fountain. There are so many wonderful things to say about this venue. I would highly recommend planning a wedding for anyone looking to celebrate their special day.

From the start of the day getting into the venue up until the end of the night when we left, everyone was beyond helpful, kind, efficient, and made sure the day went so smoothly! The ceremony was set up perfectly and the staff was able to escort all of the guests and bridal party to where we needed to be. All the details were taken care of and there was nothing to worry about because of how on top of it everyone was. Our reception was also outstanding and the catering was to die for! The staff was so quick at getting tables cleared, getting food set up, the desserts ready, making drinks, everything. I could not have pictured a better day. The venue and everything it has to offer made us and our guests feel right at home. The bridal suites, bathrooms, restaurant, patio, reception area, everything was so clean and pretty ALL night long. The lighting was perfect and it was a amazing space for us to share with our friends and family. If you're thinking about using Hastings Golf and Events for anything, stop looking and book. Honestly, everyone was so kind but the specific people we remember are Stephanie (our amazing server for the rehearsal dinner), Kami (assistant event coordinator), Jonathan (killer bartender), and of course the woman who made our wedding dreams into reality - Nicole! he Hastings Golf Club for our wedding venue because of our first impression of Nicole. We are so thankful we chose them. Every single need was addressed immediately and with a smile. The food was delicious, the venue was clean, and the views are stunning! The ceremony by the pond created such a picturesque setting and the dramatic entrance of the bridal party down the hill made me speechless. There are so many beautiful places for pictures, and it was so much fun riding the golf carts down to the ceremony site! From the initial meeting to the day after when we picked up everything they had boxed up for us, we were so happy. They took care of everything--setting up the centerpieces, cleaning up the night of, boxing it all up for us, and doing everything they could to make our day wonderful. I'm sad that the day is over, and I don't get to meet with them and get hugs from them anymore! They have a beautiful setting on a golf course and do the ceremony need a water feature with a fountain. It is absolutely gorgeous! The reception hall is amazing, it overlooks the golf course, has tall ceilings, and there are numerous options to set it up how you would like. Nicole and her team are first class and it was a pleasure working with them to make our daughter’s wedding everything she wanted and more. The service, the food, the set up, everything was best in class. Hastings is only a 20 minute drive from the Twin Cities and there is such incredible value at this venue. It would be hard to replicate what we did here vs any venue in the cities, and it was significantly less than we would have paid in the cities. Weddings are expensive, But when it was over, we were extremely happy and felt that we got the best value for our money. We still have friends and family tell us this was the best wedding they’ve been a part of. It was absolutely fabulous!

r! Thankfully, the venue was just as amazing as her! It is naturally beautiful and you truly don’t have to spend a lot to decorate it! They never pushed us to do anything and always looked out for us as we wanted to save money (who doesn’t lol). They were always on top of everything from the food tasting, the meetings before, and the day of. We had the best staff ever from Nicole, to the Day of Coordinators, to the bartenders!!!! We literally dropped off our decor and they set it up in the most amazing way. By the end of the night I didn’t have to do one thing. I left (probably without even saying goodbye, oops!) and came back 2 days later to pick up all of the decor! It was so seamless and such an easy process. The last thing you want to do on your wedding night is clean up! I seriously could go on and on about how amazing they are. If you are on the fence, book them!!! It was worth every penny and we would do it over and over again just to work with them!

They felt like bonus wedding planners/coordinators - not just venue staff. Our day would not have been possible without this stellar team! Their communication was awesome and the pricing was very fair. The venue itself was perfect for us - the men got to enjoy a round of golf to kick off the day while the gals got ready in the bridal suite, and the next day we all met back at the restaurant for brunch. They also worked directly with our DJ & bridal party members the day of and night before to handle setup/decor/cake drop off etc.. And in general they’re just pleasant/fun people to work with! Very personable and funny and put us at ease throughout the process. So grateful for this team!! Highly recommend :)

emony outside by the fountain, dinner and reception following inside. We couldn't have asked for better weather, but they had already prepared a back-up plan in case of rain. They took care of all of our older relatives by "shuttling" them down with golf carts and back up after to the main building. For dinner and reception to follow, Morgan was an organized superstar! She communicated regularly with our other vendors to make the night go smoothly, and when there were a few hiccups (because those are natural across that many people!), Morgan checked in with us to let us know any urgent updates. Every time she was calm and we knew things were going to be handled. It was a spectacular night with lovely décor and food. We highly recommend Hastings Public House if you are looking for an incredible wedding venue!

Kami at the time of the showing for me and my fiancé. We honestly loved everything when meeting with Kami. She pretty much informed us that the venue was the place we needed to host our wedding! She was also sweet, kind, real, and very informative. Let’s forward to a few months. Me & my fiancé had tried the food at their food tasting and everything was so blend. It was already June so with our date being 11/11/2022 we couldn’t really change the venue. I reached out to Nicole a few times but she was on vacation. She ended up reaching out to me by email and I wasn’t able to communicate with her for a few days. But, we finally talked and she was a little surprised that we was the first couples to ever inform her about the blend food. We went ahead and set up a plan to just do bbq sliders. I had remembered that we requested Hawaiian bread but, unfortunately that maybe that was missed because the sliders weren’t on Hawaiian bread the day of the wedding. Fast forward to our wedding day my fiancé was suppose to have beer and beverages in his mini fridge but, there weren’t any beverages including beers in the mini fridge at the time of arrival. Maybe we were suppose to provide our own drinks but, I am not sure. We may of missed some communication at the time of setting this up. The communicate could have been better. We just feel like throughout the process we was the only ones really reaching out! It was the week of our wedding and we had got super sick so we couldn’t really do much that week! We should’ve got Kami contact information also when we had received Nicoles and maybe I could’ve been reaching out to her since Nicole had a lot of her plate with it being a very busy time with a lot of events at the venue. Our wedding didn’t seem important at the time of reaching out since I left several voicemails and didn’t receive a phone call until I had to inform Nicole by email to set up a time to go over details of the wedding. I will add I did receive an email from Nicole a week later. But, in my voicemail I asked for to reach out to me by phone. If we were informed to only communicate by email I would have done that from the beginning. I also do wish they could’ve offered outside catering since the food options weren’t really the best. Overall, we had a great time the day of our wedding and we are happy that we were able to host our wedding at the venue. Kami & Nicole were really awesome to work with.

We went to tour later the same day and said yes to the venue immediately! There were no hidden costs that came up after we booked or throughout the whole process. Nicole helped us with every step of the planning process and really got to know our vision for the day, and offered us some great and fun suggestions for making our day even more special. My husband and our families and I had so much fun every time we went to have a check in with Nicole. We had our rehearsal dinner at the venue and Nicole was there with us to walk through everything. Come wedding day, she made sure we truly did not have to worry about a thing. We dropped our decor off earlier in the week and on wedding day her and her staff took care of it all. I trusted Nicole and her team to use our decor as they saw fit and it definitely did not disappoint - everything looked better than I could have imagined myself! They also used some of their decor they had on hand that matched my theme. She checked in on us in the bridal suite and grooms lounge (which are huge and awesome!) to help keep us on schedule and make sure we always had everything we needed. The venue itself is beautiful. We were lucky enough to have nice weather and we’re able to have our ceremony at the pond with our reception inside. The inside reception room is beautiful as well with all of the windows and natural light. The food is also absolutely amazing!! Our guests raved about it. Overall, the venue is beautiful inside and out. There are many ways to make it your own. The food is fabulous, and Nicole and her staff are the best. It would not have been possible for us to have such a perfect day without them!

re enjoying our wedding day as stress-free as possible. A few common things we would hear from both Nicole and Kami was, "don't worry about it, we got it, " "everything will be great, " "we've got it handled." And they followed through because it was literally, a perfect day. There were a few hiccups where we didn't know what happened, but they were so small, that everything else outweighed it. Something happened with our wedding party music during the ceremony. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication with the DJ or not, but it was very minor. My dad was missing (he went out to eat when he should’ve been there on time) and Nicole helped move the schedule along and calm my nerves ha! From the day we toured the venue to after the wedding, they were so amazing. Nicole is a busy gal and I had to follow up via email with my questions (because I had A LOT of questions, THANK YOU for your patience Nicole) a few times, but she always got back to me in a timely manner. She knows what she is doing, and I knew from the very beginning that I could trust them to make our day amazing. I provided them with photos of the décor at the last minute, but they already had an idea on what my vision was, and everything still looked awesome. It was flawless! They feel like family during the entire process, people who you could trust. Nicole also helped me with my rollercoaster of emotions the day of the wedding too! So supportive and understanding! During our first meeting (1 month prior), I shared a few concerns about the schedule and vendors. I was kind of getting pulled left and right but Nicole was so great that she offered to reach out to them directly for a smooth day-of schedule. They really do care. I would highly recommend them if you want to work with people/vendors who care about your wedding and it’s all one package!

We decided to schedule a tour, which ultimately fell during a freezing rain storm & got postponed until roads were better. Once we arrived we met with Nicole who is honestly one of the most amazing humans I've ever had the pleasure to meet. We decided that day it was the perfect spot for our day. Once covid came into the game Nicole kept me very informed with potential changes. The food & drink was on site so we were extremely lucky to be able to give final numbers the week of the wedding. We also opted to utilize their day of coordinator services which allowed my bridesmaids & I to enjoy the entire morning without stressing over set up & clean up. We're three weeks out & I'm still getting messages on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was. The staff & management truly made the day more seamless than I ever imagined & guaranteed will be back to the restaurant on site Hastings Public House. We recently went to lunch at Hastings Public House we were beyond impressed when we saw Nicole, Cammie and Anne who all remembered us, asked how married life is and even recalled events from our day. I was instantly reminded why we chose this venue, you walk in and instantly feel like family. The team puts so much care into each couples special day and honestly it shows. We’re four months out and still hearing rave reviews about food, service and how beautiful the venue is. I could go on and on but ultimately I need to say, thank you Hastings Golf Club & Events for making our day the most perfect day we could have imagined.

A few weeks later we were able to tour the venue in person & Nicole remembered every piece of our initial discussion. Working through a whole year - Nicole & Kami were ALWAYS answering my questions & updating the quote. Through out the WHOLE process the HGC team was like family, knowing my name when I went into the club for Girls on the Green & always asking how wedding planning was going. The week of the wedding was beyond PERFECT. We started out with a full day run through of every small detail & even with my type A personality - they fully gained my trust for the day. I would HIGHLY recommend spending the extra money for a day of coordinator. Nicole & Kami are 100% ALL IN. With their up beat personalities, organization & amazing staff they helped make the day even better than I could image. The venue itself has wonderful getting ready spaces (both for the girls & guys), the venue hall is the perfect size (we had about 165 guests). There are 2 separate areas + a balcony - where we put out bags. No matter what food you go with it is TOP NOTCH! Our guests are STILL raving about how delicious everything was. We had our ceremony down by the pond & it was magical. That walk from the tent to the ceremony space was very special for my dad & I. All in all, I cannot recommend the Hastings Golf Course enough. If you are looking for Excellent service, food, venue & location - you have found the right place! PLUS you get to work with the amazing Crew - Nicole, Kami & their team.

Pictures don’t do this place justice and Nicole is an absolute ball of joy. She was so helpful with my millions of questions and emails throughout the entire time from when we put our deposit down til wedding day! Hastings golf club is gorgeous, their service and team are impeccable, the greens are immaculate, there’s beautiful places for pictures, and their food is amazing. My wedding guests are still telling me what an incredible place it is and how amazing the food was! I had a guest count of 145 including my wedding party and everyone fit perfectly at anywhere from 6-10 at a table. There was still plenty of room for people to walk around, and a beautiful social area near the bar. They do their own catering, ceremonies, and receptions so it’s very easy because everything is in one place! We had our ceremony in front of their pond with a beautiful fountain on the greens. Once I receive pictures from my photographer I will post some here with my review if I’m able. All in all, was 10000% satisfied with everything about Hastings Golf Club!
