Hathaway's Guest Cottages will provide you and your loved ones with a tranquil and stylish wedding venue on your big day in Charlestown, RI. Its team will work with you from the beginning and throughout to ensure your ceremony and reception are as special as the love shared between you and your partner.
Before arriving at Hathaway's Guest Cottages, you can speak to a member of staff in great detail about your wedding day plans. They will help you choose between several indoor and outdoor locations, some of which are covered in the event of rain, and tailor each venue to the size and scale of your celebration. Of all the available spaces, the Farmhouse, built in 1863, is the most prevalent among newlyweds and is the main house on this two-acre property. Outside, its neatly manicured lawns offer a place where you and your partner can swap vows and say "I do" before staying put and celebrating cocktail hour in what will hopefully be a warm, sun-drenched day. Later in the afternoon or evening, your party can move indoors to the spacious and modern Farmhouse for an unforgettable reception dinner followed by a night of dancing and merriment.
The Farmhouse at Hathaway's Guest Cottages sleeps up to eight guests, so, should you wish to, you can enjoy your stay with your entire wedding party or immediate family under one roof. Also, the seven private cottages are available for your guests to rent, with most places offering a space for three adults or two adults and two children. To simplify your wedding planning, Hathaway's offers food and catering services while providing chairs, tables, tents, and more on your special day.

- Michele AzzinaroOwnerMy husband and I are in our 50's, have 5 children in their 20's and bought the Hathaway's property 4 years ago as a pre-retirement passion to work together in the hospitality industry. I am familiar with this business, as my parents built/owned a motel on the beach in a neighboring town. A friend/colleague of mine had to postpone her wedding due to restrictions from Covid. Another collegue/friend had a connection to the Hathaway's and we did a girls night to cheer up our friend. oI stayed with my girlfriends in cottage #8. I absolutely fell in love with the beautiful Copper Beach tree, the flowers/gardens, the pool and the overall vibe the property had to offer. Upon my departing I told the previous owner I was truly interested in purchasing the property when they are ready to sell. She chuckled and promise to give he a call when they were ready to sell. A year later, I got the call and the rest is history! We love this historic venue. If you are looking for an intimate outdoor experience, look no further.
