HAUS Salon

My stylist was a really nice and I really liked her, so I feel a little bad about leaving this mediocre review. However, although their wedding sessions cost more than a regular hair session, I didn't feel like I got anything special for my wedding. I had heard that a professional will put a bunch of stuff in your wedding hair so that it stays put and lovely all night long - well, my curls fell apart in about 2 hours :(

I got my hair and makeup done at HAUS Salon in the North Loop, along with my bridal party and our two mothers. They were friendly, professional, and all amazing artists. Therese was fantastic with my makeup and was able to listen to what I was looking for and make it happen perfectly. Kathleen did the same with my hair and was so creative and made great suggestions along the way. Both my hair and makeup looked gorgeous and stayed perfect all day and night, through heat and dancing! My bridal party looked beautiful as well and the pricing was some of the best in the Twin Cities for their level of amazing services. I will definitely be going back for other events and services! Everything turned out perfectly.

My experience with HAUS Salon was FANTASTIC. As a part of the bridal experience, leading up to the wedding, I spent an evening in the salon doing different "sketches" of possible hairstyles. The salon has an area set up with professional lighting. In each "sketch" I was photographed from each angle to ensure that I liked the way I looked...and the way the hair photographed. what a great idea! I could then look at the photos afterward and decide. They were able to accommodate seven of us on the day of the wedding and everyone looked beautiful. I loved my hair for the wedding. And, they were just voted BEST NEW SALON in Minnesota Monthly 2011!
