The cruise line’s staff did not give us the correct information with respect to our options when the trip had to be cancelled. Charmaine was very sympathetic with our situation and worked her connections tirelessly, including pushing the matter to more senior levels to get us a full monetary refund. Facing the possibility of losing a significant amount of money, while dealing with a family health crisis was very stressful. However, Charmaine kept us informed of all of her efforts on our behalf, which allowed us to just focus on our family’s health issue. We are so thankful we had Charmaine on our side. We have had friends who worked through other travel agencies or directly with the cruise lines and they lost lots of money due to these unfortunate health events and cancellations. She gave destination recommendations and insights on each which helped us eventually land on Jamaica (where neither my wife or I had ever been). During the planning process with our resort Charmaine was involved at every step advocating for us and helping to provide suggestions/items to think about. he has far surpassed other travel agents we had used previously on this front. She knows the locations, she knows the resorts, and she knows the rooms at the resorts. In fact, on our most recent trip she was able to provide luxury recommendations that ultimately saved us a lot of money (she alerted us that Hawaii at Christmas time would be far more expensive than the perfect vacation we ended up experiencing in St Lucia). But more importantly in a travel agent we want somebody who doesn't stop at simply booking the trip and making sure we know the travel itinerary. And that is definitely the case with Charmaine. She books the trips, she follows up to ensure we are fully up to speed on activities available, and she makes sure all possible questions are answered, and she follows through to make sure the trip is going as planned during the trip. On our most recent trip, the Airline had an issue with the plane so had to cancel the flight. Charmaine was on the phone with us immediately (extremely early in the morning), helping to educate us on all of our options and helping to get us rebooked and our vacation back on track, and then after the fact making sure we received proper reimbursement from the airline. Charmaine has customers for life!

Char recommended St. Lucia, which was the perfect destination for us. She helped us plan our trip so that we stayed at both Sandals Grande St. Lucian in the over-water bungalows and at Jade Mountain. She helped organize our dream honeymoon while staying within budget. We had great experiences at both Sandals and Jade Mountain, and Char was on top of everything. She has connections with both places and we felt as though they rolled out the red carpet for us because we were her clients. Charmaine helped coordinate calls with our wedding team at the resort, and we appreciated her insight and expertise in the planning process. Having Charmaine help us coordinate between the resort's wedding planners and all of our guests helped give us the peace of mind we desired with our relaxed attitude, while still being able to customize the details we cared about when it came to our dream wedding/honeymoon. She knew the resort well and recommended the best room view for us which was one of the highlights of our stay. As we approached our travel dates, Charmaine sent all of our guests a detailed email of much-appreciated travel suggestions, tips, reminders, and knowledge of the area/resort. She helped us book a great excursion, The Chocolate Tour, which we would absolutely recommend! Charmaine was friendly, available, and easy to work with. e about our destination - she made it so easy for us and she is so responsive! Everything was planned out perfectly - the flights, transfers and hotel. Unfortunately we had a rocky start going to our honeymoon when they closed our airport due to weather for a few hours causing us to miss our two connecting flights to our honeymoon and delaying our arrival by one day. She was on the phone with us at all hours of the night making sure we were okay and we got to the hotel while we waited for a new flight to be issued by the airline. She called our hotel in Bora Bora to let them know what happened. It was unfortunate but she took care of us and was in contact with us the whole step of the way when we had no idea what to do! She was so understanding and was able to get the hotel to move the day we missed to the end of the honeymoon so we didn't miss out and she did her magic to rebook our flights back. Our trip to Bora Bora was what we hoped for and more - it was such a dream! She started out by asking us what we wanted out of a honeymoon and what type of travelers we are. You could tell she really wanted to tailor our trip to us as a couple. From there, we didn't really have to do much outside of answering a few questions/choosing from some options; Charmaine took care of all the details! Transfers, hotel details, excursions, etc. were all booked and taken care of! And with all the other wedding planning details, it was a huge help not to have to worry about that. She was also very mindful of our budget, so when booking those details, we didn't have to worry about how much this was all going to cost and going over budget. The night before we left, she even emailed us a last minute guide with everything we needed to know. Most importantly, the trip was AMAZING! It was more than we could have asked for in a honeymoon. Charmaine exceeded all expectations and really set the bar high for all of our future vacations. She is friendly, extremely responsive and very detail-oriented. I have already recommended her to several of our friends and coworkers and plan to use her again in the future!
