Liz and her husband are AMAZING!!! Best photographer in the business. I searched far and wide for a good photographer in a good price range. I couldn’t justify paying some of the prices I was seeing - what’s the difference in quality? Nothing. Liz does this because she has a passion for this and that is what sold me. She has a passion and it showed throughout the day. She has an amazing personality and we loved getting to know her throughout the process. We love our photos! The other thing about Liz is she goes above and beyond for her clients - I told her my vision of going to the beach for photos day of and when we did a final meeting at the venue she and I went on a scout and picked everything out and then day of her husband drove us to the beach and other offsite locations and got the best pictures. We are forever grateful!!

If you are looking to book a photographer for your NJ wedding, LOOK NO FURTHER! Liz was the absolute vendor that we hired to document our day and we would do it 100 times again. She was amazing with communication, responsive, fun, creative, and simply amazing at what she does. There was not a single photo in our gallery that we didnt like all thanks to her. If you are looking to trust a photographer with your wedding photos, Liz is the best in the game!!

I found Liz through a friend sharing photos from their wedding and was immediately impressed. Not only are her and her husband easy people to work with, but when I had an issue getting my contact lenses in time for the engagement shoot, they were gracious about rescheduling even though I only told them that day. I'm not one to want my photo taken, but they made it so comfortable and easy and the photos I have from my wedding day captured not only the event but the feeling of being there that day. I could not recommend them highly enough!

We absolutely adore Liz & Carlos!! Just from the sneak previews we know they have a way of capturing our love and the beauty of the photo! We have all our engagement pictures hanging on the walls that they took and we CAN’T WAIT to hang our wedding photos!!!! Not only do we have a go to photographer for our future but also two people we happily call friends ❤️

I have so many positive things to say about Liz. Her personality is so warm, she is so kind, and she truly makes you feel beautiful. My husband and I had the privilege of booking our engagement session with Liz a year before our wedding. She was so encouraging during our photoshoot, and she helped us both feel more comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Liz arrived exactly when she said she would for our wedding day, and she got right to work, taking so many photos of all of our details. Liz’s attention to detail is amazing, and I really appreciated her capturing so many different photos, and so many different angles to get the perfect shot. My husband and I have rather large families, and she was so patient with us when we had questions regarding the day-of timeline, and she worked with us to make sure we could get all of the family shots we wanted. Our guests have said nothing but positive things about Liz and Frank and how well they worked together during our wedding - they were always around when you wanted a photo! I am so excited to see the photos, and I just know they’re going to be everything we dreamed of.

AMAZING! Liz and Carlos are truly the best of the best. My husband and I unfortunately had to postpone our 2020 wedding due to COVID-19, and Liz could not have been more understanding and accommodating throughout the entire process. When our July 2021 wedding finally arrived, Liz and Carlos were extremely professional and kind to our wedding party and guests. They made us feel so comfortable and were very easy to work with from start to finish.  Our wedding photos exceeded all of our expectations. They are absolutely fabulous and were delivered less than a month after our wedding! We are so so happy! Liz & Carlos - thank you again for perfectly capturing our big day!

Liz was amazing. She was just as professional as she was warm. She made my husband and I feel at ease which was not easy for my husband who hates taking pictures unlike myself. She made my entire family feel as if she’d known them forever. Her assistant Roseanna was hilarious and wonderful, also. I can’t wait to have another reason to use Liz. I highly recommend.

The very best! We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Liz. From the moment we met her, she had the best energy and it was clear that she was passionate about her work. We booked her for our engagement shoot and our wedding day. Both sets of photos came out amazing!! We loved the photos so much that it was hard to choose our absolute favorites—there were so many great shots to choose from. She truly makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and is there to guide you when needed, while also capturing the natural, candid moments. She was responsive throughout the process, timely (in fact, early for both days), and had a quick turnaround with both sets of photos. The albums we got with her were amazing quality, even down to the packaging. We plan on having Liz take our future family photos and cannot wait to work with her again!

We are so, so happy we found Liz (and Carlos) to be our wedding photographers! I don’t think you could possibly find kinder, more talented and fun people to work with. Liz is amazing and makes you feel totally comfortable (a huge deal for me since I don’t love having my picture taken). Her love for what she does is clear. She has a really cool style - you of course get plenty of portraits, but she also captures beautiful candids and unique shots. I cannot thank Liz and Carlos enough for capturing our wedding day photos. From the moment I spoke with Liz on the phone I knew I wanted her to photograph our day. We scoured the internet for weeks trying to find our photographer with no luck. We were looking for someone who had an artistic eye, that could not only capture our relationship but bring to light the history and art of our wedding venue. We are getting married this October 2019 and without even seeing the wedding photos I know we've picked the right photographer. We've had the opportunity to work with Havana Photography (Liz and Carlos) for two engagement sessions - the first in December and the second session this May. All of the pictures came out amazing! They know exactly how to make you look your very best and will make sure to position you or instruct you to make that happen. Truthfully, I can rave about them for days and usually do to ANYONE that will listen. Their talent is indisputable - just look at their website, facebook and instagram. In addition to their pure talent and abilities, Liz and Carlos are super cool, genuinely kind, and extremely encouraging (seriously, they are the best hype crew ever). By our second session, I felt like we were hanging out with friends who were also just REALLY GREAT photographers. They are also very passionate about their craft. They are always trying new gadgets, lenses, angles, etc. and challenging one another to learn and try new and different things. As a customer, I loved this because I know I'm getting the best of the very best. Can't wait to see the final wedding photos!

Liz and Carlos were the photographers for our wedding last July. They were receptive to any requests that we had prior to that day, and on the day of the wedding they did not disappoint. They came to photograph us getting ready the morning, they were punctual but there were times we forgot they were there. They did not want to disrupt the natural flow of the morning. They managed to capture so many beautiful candid and posed moments. We did a first look and wedding party pictures before the ceremony and they orchestrated everything beautifully. They were so good at reading the bridal party and knew which shots would be best. During the ceremony itself they were flawless. They did not block anyones view, however they managed to get unbelievable pictures of the ceremony from near and far. After the ceremony the milled about the cocktail hour and reception snapping wonderful candid shots of our guests. They were so kind to all of our friends and family and offered to take any picture someone requested. They captured every moment and then some. We received our final photo gallery in no time. An entire gallery of wonderful photos that we were free to share with our family and friends. Many photographers limit sharing of the photos, but Liz insisted that they were ours to do whatever we pleased. We worked closely with her to create our wedding album and large print. Once we hammered down the details she had our personalized zip drive, album, and print to us in no time. We would recommend Liz to any couple or people in general. We will keep her and her company in mind for our future events that may need a photographer. She delivered everything she promised and more. In our opinion you can't put a price on a photographer that is this talented in their craft and is passionate about being an approachable human being at the event.

I don't even were to start... Carlos and Liz truly captured the emotion of joy, laughter, and love. From the moment we met to do our engagement photo shoot, I knew we were in good hands. They were so easy going and pleasant to work with. I cannot say enough nice things about our photos and the entire process and experience throughout. We received all of our wedding photos back really quickly and the quality of the images were stunning. Everyone keeps saying how beautiful our pictures were and I can't agree more. I recommend Carlos and Liz 1000%! Love them!

YOU NEED TO HIRE LIZ! My now husband and I hired Liz to shoot our engagement photos with our pups right after we were engaged based on a recommendation from an old friend and boy are we happy we did! It goes without saying that our engagement photos were amazing-so amazing that we booked her for our wedding before even receiving all of our engagement photos. Fast forward to our wedding, Liz and her team were amazing!! We took so many amazing pictures that were both posed and candid that she left nothing to be desired. Our family and friends cannot stop talking about how amazing our wedding photos/thank you card/ Wedding album came out- they are beyond BEAUTIFUL. I have been waiting to review Havana Photography since the moment my fiance and I first met with them over FaceTime shortly after we got engaged. Before I even get into the nitty gritty of their talent as photographers, I would be doing a diservice if I didn't start by expressing how absolutely incredible Liz and Carlos are as people. These are the kind of people everyone wants and honestly, needs in their life. They have the most genuine spirit and beautiful hearts that immediately provide a sense of comfort that feels like you're with family. It's tough to describe, but the feeling is recognizable as soon as it hits you. Professionally, these two are masterminds. They have an eye unlike any other photographers we came across. The absolute BEST thing about their work is that they don't create moments. Instead, they capture them in the most organic way and they let every couple's love tell a story. They are always prepared, with their hearts as their lenses and somehow manage to capture the most intimate moments in a way that is not at all invasive. Throughout the planning process, Liz was my main contact and she was exceptional. Every question, worry or thought that I had was answered, soothed or embraced promptly in the kindest manner that made me even more excited for our wedding day. She listened intently to every detail of our vision for the day and spent a significant amount of time scouring our inspiration boards to make sure that they would capture the essence of who we are as a couple in both our engagement and wedding photos. Liz & Carlos did not disappoint!! They were so fun to work with and their love for their work showed through all the amazing photos they captured of my fiancé and I. Liz and Carlos are fun, professional and incredibly talented! They know when to ask you to pose and when to let you be yourself and go with the flow. They are so friendly and nice that it makes it very easy to feel comfortable in front of their cameras. We got our photos very promptly after our engagement session and our wedding. AMAZING. We love Liz and Carlos and cannot say enough amazing things about them and their work. I absolutely loved Liz and her husband! We just got back our engagement photos and I opened them and cried! Honestly I was worried that my fiancé would be nervous in front of the camera but they made us so comfortable. I feel so lucky that we found them and I feel like the photos were just perfect for what we were looking for. Every question I have had, Liz has gotten back to me so quickly and made me feel heard. Not to mention the fact that as I have shared the engagement photos with friends and family everyone has agreed that they just captured our relationship perfectly! From the moment we met, they had us at hello. They are the best husband and wife photography duo! Very friendly and pleasant to work with. They captured every picture we asked for and more.
