My wedding was perfect. From the location at Kikaua Point beach, to Dean the officiant. He does an amazing ceremony. Beautiful symbolism, stories and touches of the Hawaiian cultur...
e. However, if you are from the east coast I would not recommend using Hawaii Island Weddings. At times it took days/week for Kandi to get back to me with answers to my questions. On several occasions she tried changing prices on me. Luckily I held onto everything including emails and text messages and then used to reinforce what was originally said as well as prices originally quoted. If you are able to stay on top of things, are organized as an individual, and have a very laid back attitude go for it. Dean was worth the aggravation that came with her services. If I wear just rating Dean I would give him 5 plus stars.
Choose from all types of Hawaii wedding packages and Hawaii vow renewal packages.
Wow, where to start... We live in Chicago and I never thought this would be the most magical moment of my life but with Kandi on your time you can not go wrong. I contacted Kandi ...
on 10/21/2014 after finding out from my now husband that we were getting married on the Big Island Thanksgiving weekend. He wanted it to be a surprise and had been talking to another company that was talking too long to get back to him.
So I got on the computer and found Kandi. Kandi told me it was possible and we started securing the photographer. After, that I was able to send her photos of what I liked and thoughts and ideas. She took everything to heart and made it happen..
We arrived on Wednesday before getting married on Friday. With Thanksgiving on Thursday we were able to get our license Friday morning and get married on the beach Friday at sunset. Kandi's Husband Dean performed the ceremony and it was the best experience we could have asked for.
My flowers matched my pictures along with our cake. Everything was handled by Kandi and I could not even tell you anything I would change.
Not only did we have the time of our life- we made new friends that we hope to see when we visit the island and have them to visit us.

Kandi and Dean are an amazing team! Our wedding turned out to be WAY better than we could have ever imagined. From the photographer, the ceremony site, the venue, the food and ente...
rtainment, it was so beautiful. Every single person that was part of the "behind the scenes" work was incredible!
By the end of the ceremony, and all of the work that both Kandi and Dean put in, we felt like they were family. They made us feel SO welcomed into their culture, and as if we were one their own.
Our parents and friends still talk about our wedding day,and how beautiful it was, and it was nearly a month ago.
We feel so fortunate that we were able to have them there on our special day. Thank you for ALL of the planning you did, and how special you made not only us, but our family feel as well.
