About this vendor
Hawaiian Mission Houses is a wedding venue in Honolulu, HI. An active site for Hawaii’s history, the Hawaiian Mission Houses Historic Site and Archives (HMH) sits on a one-acre site in downtown Honolulu’s historic Capital District. There, the team works to preserve not only Hawaii’s oldest Western-style house, the 1821 Mission House, but also the 1831 Chamberlain House, the 1841 Bedroom Annex, cemetery, collections storage vault, and more. English and Hawaiian archival materials can be found in the library, which houses over 80,000 digital pieces and one of the world’s largest collections of printed Hawaiian language materials. A coral-and-grass performance arena is on-site, where theater and mele, or music, performances are held year-round. With 15 Po‘okela Awards for Excellence in theatrical performance, writing, and direction, HMH honors and respects Hawaiian culture and history, and so do weddings at this stunning venue.
